Toei’s official press conference for the 38th Super Sentai Series takes place this weekend in Japan, so we should have lots of new details about Ressha Sentai ToQGer very soon!
To kick things off on the right track, some minor music samples have been released for the series. This is our first chance to hear the introduction theme and ending theme for ToQGer so tune in and check them out!

History’s strongest braves are back! Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger’s V Cinema special has been announced as Kyoryuger 100 Years After!
The Blueray/DVD will be released on June 20th 2014 and the main cast will be returning for this one. The DVD/Blu Ray will come with a special program book and Zyudenchi.
As the name suggests, the story will take place far into the future. Interestingly, the uniforms suggest that this new team will consist of Deathryuger, Kyoryuviolet, Cyan, Grey, Blue, and Silver. But whether or not these will be direct decedents or entirely new characters isn’t really known at the time. There’s no trailer as of yet, but you can watch the video officially announcing the project in the box below:

With the 38th Super Sentai still several weeks away, Bandai Japan is setting up the promotion train- in style!
The Fashion Network best known for excellent detailed recreations of tokusatsu hero clothing is now offering a variety of Toqger merchandise- including shirts, team jackets and conductor uniforms for the “Rainbow Line!”
A wide variety of items are available but the cost may be too much for some collectors (the jackets run in the 40000-yen range). But they may be enjoyable for fans with good fashion cents!
The last of the Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger finally arrives in the S.H. Figuarts line! Tiger Ranger comes packaged with a folded Ranger Stick, the Ranger Slinger and Boi’s signature weapons – the Saber Daggers. Also included in this set are the final pieces needed to build the Howling Cannon – the combined form of the Zyurangers’ weapons.
Unlike the version being released in the US by Bluefin Tamashii Nations, this figure is based on the character from the original Super Sentai series and thus uses a male body.
Tiger Ranger will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in June, priced 3780 yen.

Let’s Watch Wednesdays @ Tokunation returns! Though I suppose we were never gone ;) After a few intense and close rounds of voting, the community has spoken. It was a tight race at the end but our next Let’s Watch segment will be Mahou Sentai Magiranger! And now it’s time to meet the Ozu family, mother Miyuki and her 5 children.
But this is by no means an average family! Little do her kids know, Miyuki is actually a magician chose by the heavenly saint and known as Magi Mother! And soon it’ll be up to her kids to take on Branken, Vancuria, & the Infershia as Mahou Sentai Magiranger! But they better watch out, the Dark Magic Knight Wolzard has arrived alongside the Infershia with goals of his own. Can these 5 siblings inherit the legacy of their mother and long lost father to defend the world?

But we also need to announce the winners of our last LWW giveaway from Kamen Rider Blade! Up for grabs was a grand prize of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade, we also had a secondary prize yet to be revealed. Well that’s a little white lie. There were two yet to be revealed items. More pictures from the latest issue of Figure王 found by our user superblade is the highly anticipated Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger‘s Tiger Ranger. While the figure was revealed at various conventions, this is the first time we found out when Tiger Ranger/Boi would be released. Slated for June for 3,780 yen, we are finally completing the epic team. Tiger Ranger/Boi is a highly debated figure since BlueFin has clarified that the US release of Yellow Ranger would be with a female body, so the only way to obtain the male body of the Yellow Ranger/Tiger Ranger would be via the Tamashii Web Shop. Also shown in the picture is that the Tiger Ranger will come with a new part to help form the Howling Cannon.
