Our friends at Shout!Factory’s just announced that the next of their Super Sentai DVDs to hit stateside will be none other than Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger! All 50 episodes of this series will be available in one action-packed box set.
Pre-orders for this set are available directly off of Shout!Factory’s website, the set will retail for $47.98 US or your regional equivalent and will be released in November.
The star of the Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is getting an upgrade!
This is our first look at a new form for Don Momotaro– known as Gold Don Momotaro. The new form features spiked golden armor and a flowing golden cape.
How Don Momotaro obtains this new form remains unconfirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further updates on this Super Sentai series!
There was much rejoicing followed by some tears as Tamashii Nations revealed two of their upcoming exclusives for the Tamashii Nations 2022 Event. This year’s event will see S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Jack Revice from Kamen Rider Revice, as well as Zenkaiser Black from Avataro Sentai DonBrothers.

Fans who want these will likely be paying a bit more than the suggested retail price. But hey – at least it isn’t another January 2023 release, right? Tamashii Nations 2022 Event takes place November 18th through November 20th, 2022 in Japan.
The next entry in the Shodo SUPER action figure series is the 1980 Super Sentai show Denzi Sentai Denziman!
All five members of the Denziman team are recreated in superb detail, with their full arsenal of weaponry.
AND there is a teaser for the next entry in Shodo Super- following Denziman will be Ninja Sentai Kakuranger!

Premium Bandai has put up an order page for TwoKaiser from the popular Super Sentai series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. The figure retails for 7,700 yen and will release in January 2023.
It looks like Ranger Keys are back – and for fans of the current Sentai DonBrothers – hold on to your wallets!
Premium Bandai has revealed a brand new set of Ranger Keys – Memorial Edition Anniversary Heroes including DonBrothers Set. This set celebrates DonBrothers as well as the anniversaries of some Super Sentai series:

The Super Sentai toy series takes a new level in power!
Some new images have surfaced revealing a SUPER Combination for the Avataro Sentai DonBrothers– featuring the original five RoboTaro Mecha of Don Onitaijin combining with Don Dragoku’s own RoboGoku & RoboBolt.
The resulting fusion of Robos is known as ToraDora OniTaiJin– the most powerful technique in the DonBrothers’ arsenal to date!
For DX Mecha collectors, Don Onitaijin is already released at retail. Don Dragoku’s combo- ToraDora GonJin is scheduled for release in August 2022 at a price of 9680 Yen.
It has been two years since a potential Super Sentai series on DVD was teased. However, as Saban Brands sold the entirety of the Power Rangers franchise to Hasbro – along with all their licensing contracts – the future of the Super Sentai series on DVD from Shout! Factory became clouded with doubt and uncertainty. Over the last two years, we were able to confirm that Shout! Factory wanted to continue releasing Super Sentai on DVD, meaning the future was in the hands of Hasbro.
Fast forward to today and Shout! Factory, in partnership with eOne Entertainment (whom Hasbro has transferred all the entertainment side of their business to), is pleased to announce the return of Super Sentai to DVD in North America with the upcoming release of Chikyu Sentai Fiveman!

SUPER SENTAI: CHIKYUU SENTAI FIVEMAN premiered in Japan in 1990 and was the fourteenth installment of the Super Sentai metaseries.
Twenty years after their planet was attacked by the brutal Zone Empire, the five Hoshikawa children, who escaped and were raised on Earth, must prepare for a brand-new war. This time, though, they’re ready … having developed the powerful Fiveman technology that will help them defend Earth from the same empire that conquered their home world.

These are the DX Mecha based on the RoboTaro forms belonging to the Donbrothers’ sixth member Don Dragoku. The new warrior has two signature forms even in RoboTaro scale:
*Don RoboGoku– the golden dragon!
*Don RoboBolt– the purple tiger!
Together the Don Dragoku RoboTaro combine to create the mighty Mecha ToraDora GonJin! This Mecha features RoboBolt wearing RoboGoku as a suit of power armor.
Any further configurations or combinations with the existing DX Don Onitaijin are not yet confirmed.

Premium Bandai has published the first official images of the next Shodo SUPER release featuring the 1988 Super Sentai team Choujuu Sentai Liveman!
All five members of this Sentai- Red Falcon, Yellow Lion, Blue Dolphin, Black Bison & Green Sai have been recreated at the Shodo scale in superb detail. This release also includes the team weapons- the Triple Bazooka and the massive Biomotion Buster.
Shodo SUPER’s Liveman release is currently scheduled for December 2022. The price is a modest 8800 Yen before shipping & handling.
