It’s time to talk some toku with the latest release from the Talkin Toku Podcast – Episode 013 “Why Not Zoidberg?”. Join Kickback, Den-O, special guest hosts baltmatrix and MonkieRanger, as well as two more “surprise” guests as they attempt to talk Kamen Rider Gaim, Power Rangers Dino Charge, and San Diego Comic Con 2014 news and rumors (which have all been debunked as of this morning, hooray!).

Find out what’s going on with all the Zoidberg talk as the gang discusses how to make Power Rangers Dino Charge the best series of all time. There’s an Arms Change missing from Kamen Rider Gaim – and the crew thinks Bill Cosby can fill that void. The gang spends a lot of time discussing the details of the plot of Kamen Rider Gaim leading up to and including Episode 35.

Lock Open! Dai Dai Dai Dai Dai Shogun!

The thirteenth (and likely final) retail release in the fan-favorite Arms Change series is on its way to shelves, and some reviewers have already obtained their copies. Youtube user wotakufighter offers us a close look at AC13 Gaim Kiwami Arms, including a demonstration of its cross-compatible armor abilities!

 

Collectors who were able to preorder AC-13 should be receiving shipment notifications very soon. Keep a close eye on your mailboxes!

Kamen Rider Gaim toys just continue to flood the market! And today is no different, in this weeks installment of Toy Tuesdays @ TokuNation we’re bringing you a gallery of another of these recent releases in the form of S.H. Figuarts Sakura Hurricane!

Sakura Hurricane is of course the sweet sweet trans-dimensional hopping bike of our titular hero. Previously a “DX” lock seed style Lock Vehicle of this bike had been released by Bandai of Japan as a part of the Gaim main line of toys. But now collector’s finally have this wonderful addition for their collections. Though it doesn’t feature the spiffy transformation gimmick of the Lock Vehicles line, it does have a fantastic sculpt and a premium paint job. Though commonly for an SHF vehicle it’s lacking in the accessories department.

Just about a week ahead of it’s actual retail release, Bandai has released official images of Arms Change AC13 Kamen Rider Gaim Kiwami Arms!

We already knew the figure could utilize the Arms of other AC figures by simply removing the shoulder pads and cape.  But these new images show us that not only can the included dummy Kachidoki Armor be used to replicate the “cast off” style transformation to this form, but it actually appears to be a dial turn/spring loaded gimmick! By turning the dial the forward pieces will shoot off the figure! Weapons included with this figure are the DJ Gun in gun mode and it’s combined form, Taiken Mode.

This figure will be released in Japan on July 5th, that’s this weekend, for 3500 yen. For what’s expected to be the final retail release in the Arms Change line, it’s certainly going out with a bang!

Magazine scan time has come around once again for Kamen Riders this month! And it looks like this months’ main focus is the Kamen Rider Gaim movie, The Great Soccer Match! The Golden Fruit Cup! 

This newest set of scans from the film reveals some in action shots of new comer fighters Kamen Rider’s Mars & Kamuro. Also shown is Gaim’s Dark Jinba Arms in action, a selection of some of the new Arms Changes Gaim will be trying out in the film, and a team-up or two you may not ever have expected to see.

Overshadowing this though is one bombshell scan from from an upcoming episode of  Kamen Rider Gaim. MAJOR SPOILERS below so read on at your own risk:

These scans show us the return of Takatora with his original Sengoku Driver, utilizing the Original Kamen Rider Zangetsu suit! He goes toe to toe in these scans with his brother Micchy still posing as Shin Zangetsu. Upcoming episode rumors say the outcome of this battle will see the elder Kureshima brother on top.

Lock on!

After months of vinyls, Arms Action, & Arms Change figures Kamen Rider Gaim has finally made it’s way to the collector line releases from Bandai of Japan. Recently released is the long awaited S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim! 

This gorgeous figure represents Gaim’s basic form using his Orange Arms. And although the S.H. Figuarts line doesn’t allow for the Arms Change gimmick seen in the mass retail line, this is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous high end release that seriously makes up for that loss of gimmick. Gaim as a stand alone figure is brilliant, but he also includes his trademark Musou Saber, the orange themed Daidaimaru, 4 extra sets of hands, and a closed Orange Lock Seed. This guy seriously comes packed with it all!

To top off this gallery we’ve also included images of the Bonus first run display base set include with S.H. Figuarts Gaim & Baron pre-orders. This gorgeous set piece accents what are already magnificent figures. If you missed out on it I highly recommend finding it before prices go up.

And you thought Bandai had spoiled all the good surprises with the DX/Chogokin ToQoh reveal. Fear not because the imaginary trains of justice, fruit warriors of Helheim, and new Ultras are on full display this weekend. Right now some great first had looks can be had of:

  • DX Build Resshas/Build Dai Oh, as well the combined formed of Build, ToQ, & Diesel Oh; Cho Cho ToQ Dai Oh
  • DX Safari Ga Oh/Galaxy Line Resshas
  • DX/Chogokin ToQ Oh (with new elbow joint adapters as well). Also seen are a couple of amazing scaled display environments including a rail way station with the DX Resshas interacting.
  • S.H. Figuarts Gaim, Baron, Zangetsu, Jinba Gaim, & Kachidoki Gaim
  • Gaim Arms Change Kiwami Arms, Knuckle, Sigurd & marika, Kamuro & Mar. As well as a GORGEOUS custom made for the show environment featuring various AC riders fighting in a Yggdrasil facility as well as in the forest of Helheim.
  • Also an entire line up of the already released toylines for both Gaim & ToQger are on display. Including all the various DX Resshas and DX Lock Seeds ever released!
  • And last but not least is the reveal of the ENTIRE Ultraman Ginga S toyline! Famously this line will feature a new gimmick very similar to Arms Change, only in a very literal sense. The new character Ultraman Victory will be able to scan Kaiju Spark Dolls to use their arms in battle!

After a a few smaller images were leaked last night we finally have our first full on look at Arms Change AC13 Kamen Rider Gaim Kiwami Arms! Currently on display at Tokyo Toy Show 2014 Kiwami Arms is shown in various stages of it’s transformation both pre and during the cast off of the included dummy Kachidoki Armor.

Kiwami Arms also looks to include the DJ Gun in it’s combined form with the Musou Saber, Taiken Mode. But what’s most awesome about these images is the confirmation that AC Kiwami Arms is FULLY compatible with previous Arms Change armors! In the second revealed image we see Kiwami wearing Gaim’s Orange Arms.  So expect to see some crazy combinations on top of this guy once he’s released!

This bit of news narrowly flew under the radar: building Block company Nanoblock will be releasing Kamen RIder themed sets later this month!

Found via Amazon Japan, we have listings for the four main Riders of Kamen Rider Gaim including Gaim himself, Baron, Ryugen, and Zangetsu, with the production images showing that you can replicated the pre-transformed giant fruit on head state somewhat, each Rider will come with his signature weapon.

Also joining the Gaim Riders, we have Kamen Rider 1whom will include enough pieces to build the Cyclone Bike in addition to a set that will include two Shocker Combatmen.

The sets aren’t too expensive with the Gaim riders costing 1680 yen a piece while the Shocker two pack at 1944 yen. Understandably, Kamen Rider 1 is a bit pricer at 2160 yen.

According to the Amazon Japan listings, these should be release on June 30th.

On that topic Bandai Of Japan has also just released official images of the DX Kiwami Lock Seed/Key set. This set includes the Kiwami Lock/Key and the Senyo Joint adapter which replaces the rider indicator faceplate. When inserted through the joint and turned, the key reveals the secondary faceplate of the Kachidoki Lock Seed and a new plate on the Kiwami folds down as well. This set is priced at 2500 yen. 

Another larger pack including Kiwami, the Joint, and the Kachidoki Lock Seed will also be released concurrently with the standard Kiwami & Joint set. This larger set is priced at 4500 yen.
