We’re less than four months away from the Official Power Morphicon Convention. And as to their usual trend, the folks at the convention have updated with some new guests – 12 to be exact – and the unfortunate news that one guest has had to cancel. Sadly for fans of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, the actress Cerina Vincent (“Maya”, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Yellow Ranger) is no longer able to attend the convention this year.

The red Super Megaforce Power Ranger, Andrew Gray, tweeted out an image today advertising this week’s episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce!  Unfortunately for Andrew, he’s about three weeks early – because his image gives us the first look of Cameron Jebo, aka Orion the Silver Ranger – who isn’t set to debut until the end of the month!

With special thanks once again to Fury Diamond of Samuraicast Blog, we’ve now seen our first official images of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Mini Figures. They may be mini, but they look super cool – check out the pose of that Super Megaforce Red Ranger! These images were found on Toys’R’Us and these poses seem to mimic the popular poses from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, so these are a great addition for fans of either Super Megaforce or Gokaiger.

A new preview for this weeks upcoming second episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce has just been posted online! Episode 2 “Earth Fights Back” will be out this Sunday February 23rd. But until then enjoy this taste of the episode featuring a brief look at the the SPD Delta Runner Legendary Zord! And of course poor Jake dressed as the Mr. Brainfreeze mascot!

And a brief summary of the episode “While the rest of the team works with the civilians to rebuild their city, Troy stumbles upon a plot by the Armada to launch missiles at major cities throughout the world.”

New York Toyfair 2014 starts tomorrow, and ahead of it Bandai of America has just released official images of ALL of their on display products! Our Network crew and very own Sentai Tamashii will be on the floor there tomorrow getting some first hand images to share with TokuNation. But for now check out everything Bandai is sharing early! Images include mostly previously seen items but we have our very first official images for 3 very big itmes:

  • Turbo Falcon Megazord
  • Q-Rex Megazord
  • Super Mega Cannon

The Turbo Falcon Megazord is Bandai of Americas version of the DX Machalcon from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. The BOA release can not only combine with the Legendary Megazord but also has it’s own unique Megazord mode!

Today we’re back with another Power Rangers Super Megaforce gallery! The Deluxe Legendary Zord Armor Ranger set, recently released alongside the Deluxe Gosei Great Zord Armor Ranger[/URL],  is loosely based on the actual Legendary Megazord.

Much like it’s Gosei Great Armor counterpart, this one borrows some aspect of the Megazord it’s meant to represent, but this set pulls off the homage much better. And as with the Gosei Great Armor the Legendary Zord Armor features Zord Builder cross compatibility, and a Ranger Key for it’s left arm. However the special bonus here is the right arm, which is a cannon capable of being attached inside the Deluxe Legendary Megazord’s chest compartment to mimic it’s on screen counterpart!

Tokunation.com’s look at the recently released Power Rangers Super Megaforce merchandise continues with a full gallery of the wave 1 5″ Super Megaforce Rangers!

Each of the Super Megaforce Rangers comes packaged with 1 Super Mega Saber and 1 Super Mega Blaster. The Red, Blue, and Green Rangers all share the same male buck body but with a unique head sculpt and the Pink and Yellow Rangers both share the same female buck but with a different head sculpt. All 5 figures have 17 points of articulation. These figures have just begun hitting retail at the $7.99 price point. Check your local retailers now!

With the premiere date of Power Rangers Super Megaforce set for February 15th, the powers-that-be have (finally) begun to shine the light on our Super Mega Rangers! The official Nickelodeon website for Power Rangers Super Megaforce has updated with a Super Mega look and feel.

If you’re collecting the Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy line, then you’ve most likely already found your way to your local store to search for and pick up the entire first wave of the 5 inch figures. That first wave includes all five of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Right off the bat you can tell there’s more articulation, but just how well do these figures stand up? Are they worth the price tag? Will you have buyer’s remorse?
