Super Megaforce Deluxe Legendary Zord Armor Ranger Gallery by conundrum

Posted on February 2, 2014 at 11:24 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

Today we’re back with another Power Rangers Super Megaforce gallery! The Deluxe Legendary Zord Armor Ranger set, recently released alongside the Deluxe Gosei Great Zord Armor Ranger[/URL],  is loosely based on the actual Legendary Megazord.

Much like it’s Gosei Great Armor counterpart, this one borrows some aspect of the Megazord it’s meant to represent, but this set pulls off the homage much better. And as with the Gosei Great Armor the Legendary Zord Armor features Zord Builder cross compatibility, and a Ranger Key for it’s left arm. However the special bonus here is the right arm, which is a cannon capable of being attached inside the Deluxe Legendary Megazord’s chest compartment to mimic it’s on screen counterpart!

To check out conundrum’s full gallery of this set click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

Super Megaforce Retrofire Legendary Megazord Gallery by conundrum

Posted on January 31, 2014 at 2:51 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

The wave of Power Rangers Super Megaforce galleries continues with a look at the ‘Retrofire’ Legendary Megazord!

A part of Bandai of America’s line of ‘Retrofire’ style Megazords, the Legendary is perhaps one of the best. Though the line has dropped the Retrofire name since Power Rangers Megaforce, this figure is clearly still a part of it much like it’s predecessor the Gosei Great Megazord. Stylized with super robotish proportions and a nice degree of articulation, these figures are an easy purchase for parents looking to score a cost effective alternative to the DX Megazords.

Check out photo & content staff members conundrum’s full gallery of this figure by clicking “Discuss on The TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce Reveals from Nuremberg Toyfair

Posted on January 30, 2014 at 3:20 pm by Den-O under Conventions, Other Conventions, Power Rangers, Toy Fair

Nuremberg Toyfair is currently ongoing and of course Bandai of America is there with their current offerings for Power Rangers Super Megaforce.

Most of what’s on display is what can be currently found at US retail. However we do get our very first looks at a couple of brand new products as well! On display at the show are:

  • DX/Zord-Builder Q-Rex Megazord, oddly referred to by the booth worker and name tag as Dino Megazord
  • 12″ Silver Super Megaforce Ranger
  • 5″ Legendary rangers including Mystic Force Red, SPD Red, Megaforce Red, Samurai Red, Dino Thunder Red, Robo Knight
  • The US version of the Gokai Galleon Buster
  • Previously released Legendary Megazord and auxiliary Zords, role play weapons, Legendary Morpher, etc.

Check out the video of Bandai’s display from youtube user Atamaii.TV.

New Ranger Keys Listed for Power Rangers Super Megaforce

Posted on January 27, 2014 at 2:27 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to our good friend and forum member raz, we have learned of some new Power Rangers Super Megaforce Key packs set to release in February, from a listing at ToyWiz.com!

The following key packs are again set to release in February 2014. Case assortments are unknown at this time but it’s safe to assume that some of the first wave key packs will be phased out, so you’d better pick them up soon if you don’t want to miss your chance at them!

– Power Rangers Turbo Key Pack (Red, Green, Blue)
– Power Rangers In Space Key Pack (Red, Blue, Black)
– Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Key Pack (Red, Black, Blue)
– Power Rangers Ninja Storm Key Pack (Red, Yellow, Blue)
– Power Rangers SPD Key Pack (Red, Blue, Green, listed as “Ninja Storm Rangers”)
– Power Rangers Zeo Key Pack (Red, Green, Blue)
– Power Rangers Time Force Key Pack (Red, Blue, Green)
– Power Rangers Super Megaforce Key Pack (Metallic Red, Yellow, Pink)

Of note, particularly for those awaiting female Ranger Keys, there is a total of THREE listed – Ninja Storm Blue, and Super Megaforce Yellow and Pink. Curiously, during the Bandai UK Toy Fair 2014 images, we saw Power Rangers Zeo Yellow Ranger Key shown with Red and Blue. Whether this was an error or the UK is getting different key packs is purely speculation and, sadly, most likely an error.

Thanks again to raz for the heads up. For more detailed Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy information, including day to day, hour by hour updates, check out his blog on Tumblr! Are you going to pick up these key packs? What keys are you still hoping/waiting for? Let us know!

Posted on January 25, 2014 at 12:16 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to Fury Diamond of Samuraicast Blog, we’ve been taken to a link on Amazon.com which shows us the first official images of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Deluxe Hand Gear roleplay item! It comes with two gauntlet-styled gloves, the Alien Red Ranger key, and some blue coin-like discs!

What makes this thing so much fun is that you basically have a disc launcher gauntlet that, when you turn the Alien Red Ranger Key, fires off the discs! Bad guys, unsuspecting friends, and pets beware – you’re about to have some Legendary Discs coming at you! What do you think? Sound off in our Super Megaforce toy thread, linked to this post!

Bandai UK Showcases Legacy Dragon Dagger Features!

Posted on January 20, 2014 at 5:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

After posting official images last week, Bandai UK has uploaded a video to it’s youtube account showcasing the features of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger!

According to the video’s description:

Coming to the UK 2014 The Legacy Dragon Dagger includes 3 battle sound effects activate by pressing the keys. Activate 2 further zord summon sounds and the theme song when the mouth piece is pressed changing the keys functions.

The nice thing about the theme music played on this piece versus the Legacy Morpher? It actually has the lyrics “Go Go Power Rangers”!!

Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5 Inch Red Ranger Video Review by baltmatrix

Posted on January 19, 2014 at 2:05 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

If you’re collecting the Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy line, then you’ve most likely already found your way to your local store to search for and pick up the entire first wave of the 5 inch figures. That first wave includes all five of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Right off the bat you can tell there’s more articulation, but just how well do these figures stand up? Are they worth the price tag? Will you have buyer’s remorse? Worry not, because baltmatrix is back with another video review, this time the Super Megaforce Red Ranger 5 inch figure is in his crosshairs! Check out the video below.

When it comes to toy reviews, no one is as consistent with new videos as our buddy baltmatrix. The guy uploads more videos in a month than some toy reviewers do in a year! That being said, do yourself a favor and keep up with all his video reviews by clicking here and subscribing. Now that we’ve got him hooked on tokusatsu merchandise, you know he’s going to spend a bunch of money to get these toys to share with you.

Have you picked up these 5 inch figures yet? What do you think? Share your thoughts in our discussion thread. And also stay tuned for an upcoming gallery of the entire first wave of figures from our very own conundrum! Unlock the Power!
