Figure-Rise Standard Ultraman Tiga Suit Announced

Posted on August 26, 2019 at 11:32 am by Kiryu under Ultraman

Ultraman fans rejoice! A brand new suit joins the SSSP’s arsenal with lineart having been released this past weekend of the Manga’s take on the popular Ultraman Tiga design.

This is our first clear look at the Ultraman Tiga suit, thanks to line art that was released. This particular design is created by Eiichi Shimizu himself though plans to integrate it into the current story are currently unknown.

We do know that Bandai plans to release this into their Figure-Rise Standard model kit line though release info and sample photos for that piece have yet to be released at the time of this writing. We’ll be sure to update you once more info becomes available.

Kamen Rider Zi-O NEXT TIME Trailer Released, Geiz Majesty Ride Watch Revealed!

Posted on August 26, 2019 at 11:13 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

RIDER TIME

This past weekend marked the final episode of Kamen Rider Zi-O but Toei isn’t done with the King of Time quite yet! Announced earlier last week ahead of the last episode was a V-Cinema movie titled Kamen Rider Zi-O: Next Time Geiz Majesty which appears to take place following the end of the series.

A trailer for the V-Cinema’s since been released, and the trailer revealed that Geiz will be acquiring a new Ride Watch. At the moment, we don’t know how Bandai intends to release the DX Geiz Majesty Ride Watch but we can assume that it will no doubt be a P-Bandai release.

Do note that the trailer does contain spoilers for the final episode of Kamen Rider Zi-O. So if you aren’t caught up yet, hit the link at your own risk!

S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Anhk Revealed

Posted on August 22, 2019 at 11:17 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

COUNT THE MEDALS!

Kamen Rider OOO just made his grand debut into the Shinkocchu Seihou line and upon his release, rumors began to spread about a certain red-feathered partner has also been in development. That rumor’s now taken shape in the form of S.H.Figuarts Shinocchu Seihou Ankh.

Of course, this, unfortunately, isn’t Anhk while he’s in the possession of a human body, and while it might be just an arm we can see that he’ll come with a ton of accessories: including the usual assortment of expressive hands, an Ice Candy, a miniature iPhone, a pile of Cell Medals, and finally the Core Medals needed for TaJaDol and TaToBa combos.

All of this can be yours for 3960 yen and will ship out in January 2020. This does not appear to be a P-Bandai exclusive, but we’ll let you know if that changes.

Bluefin Brands Saves the Day for a Kamen Rider Kiva Fan

Posted on August 18, 2019 at 9:02 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider

We’ve all had those days where nothing seems to go right. When it comes to collecting in-demand S.H. Figuarts there is probably nobody who knows that more right now than Ranger Liz. For those not in the know, Ranger Liz is a growing YouTube personality that covers Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, and Power Rangers with weekly streams and near-daily updates.

Liz, like so many of us, had pre-ordered S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kiva through her local GameStop store months ago after being unable to pre-order one from Japan (due to them selling out in a matter of two to three minutes). Her pre-order was secured and she was ready to go. Months went by and the figure was released – but Liz received no communication from her GameStop store. She reached out numerous times and was told her order was still pending. Finally, on August 18th, she went to the store and talked to the staff personally.

They had claimed they had tried to reach her repeatedly, leaving voicemails even, and due to a lack of communication from her, either sold it or sent it back to the warehouse. Naturally Liz was crushed. Overcome with emotion she shared a very heartfelt video to her followers about her sheer devastation regarding the one Kamen Rider figure she wanted more than any other and, after believing for so long that she had it secured, had it ripped away. To top it off – she was offered $5 store credit and nothing more for the inconvenience.

Enter Bluefin Brands.

Bluefin Brands is the distributor branch of Bandai in North America for Tamashii Nations product. They were pinged on Twitter regarding this story and, within a couple of hours, had reached out to Liz.

We’re happy to report that Ranger Liz will be receiving her S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kiva after all courtesy of the incredibly generous and endearing folks at Bluefin Brands. They didn’t have to reach out to Liz nor did they have to turn her day around – but they did and that speaks volumes.

Please take a moment to check out an awesome product they’ve put together for tokusatsu fans – a Tokusatsu Blind Box which can contain product of Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman. For $100 you will receive three S.H. Figuarts of the above-mentioned properties. On top of that some lucky fans will also receive, for free, the Soul of Chogokin Dragonzord. Click here to check it out and purchase.

Thanks for being an awesome company Bluefin!

Posted on August 12, 2019 at 11:43 am by Kiryu under Super Sentai

A few months ago, we got word that the next of Bandai’s Super Minipla releases will be from the retro Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan show with a Super Minipla Sun Vulcan Robo in the works, new sketches have been found online, and not only do these sketches give us a good indication of what the finished product could look like, they also confirm that the Jaguar carrier mecha has also entered development.

Release information for these two are still forthcoming, but we’ll be sure to update you with more info as soon as it becomes available.

Yet another exclusive item’s been confirmed for this year’s Tamashii Nation event joining alongside Seihou Diend and Build RabbitDragon whom we had a look at earlier. Now joining the pair is a two-pack featuring S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero Strong Corona and Luna Miracle forms.

The two forms were previously done in the now-defunct Ultra-Act line, but they’re recreated here for S.H.Figuarts.

This Two-Pack will retail for 12,100 yen at the event. Accessories include the Ultra Zero Lance and a myriad of optional expressive hands.
