S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zero-One, Bluefin Brands Pre-Orders now LIVE!

Posted on October 9, 2019 at 4:29 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

“A jump to the sky turns to a rider kick.”

Surprise! S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zero-One Rising Hopper is officially up for pre-order via Bluefin Brands!

Kamen Rider Zero-One began airing just last month, and last week the first S.H. Figuarts release from the series was both revealed, and went up for pre-order through Japanese retailers. But it’s time for North American collectors to rejoice! Bluefin Brands is officially distributing this release here in the US as well! The order page has just gone live on their website, you can place your order HERE.

With a release date of March 2020, and a super low retail price of just $35.00 with $6 flat rate shipping this is going to be a must order item for Kamen Rider collectors. From all of us here on the TokuNation staff, we deeply encourage you as collectors in the western market to order this release directly through Bluefin Brands if possible. Ordering a release like this for a currently airing Kamen Rider series directly from Bluefin, will help create encouraging sales numbers to hopefully continue the trend of getting new and recent Kamen Rider releases stateside.

Bluefin Brands Saves the Day for a Kamen Rider Kiva Fan

Posted on August 18, 2019 at 9:02 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider

We’ve all had those days where nothing seems to go right. When it comes to collecting in-demand S.H. Figuarts there is probably nobody who knows that more right now than Ranger Liz. For those not in the know, Ranger Liz is a growing YouTube personality that covers Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, and Power Rangers with weekly streams and near-daily updates.

Liz, like so many of us, had pre-ordered S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kiva through her local GameStop store months ago after being unable to pre-order one from Japan (due to them selling out in a matter of two to three minutes). Her pre-order was secured and she was ready to go. Months went by and the figure was released – but Liz received no communication from her GameStop store. She reached out numerous times and was told her order was still pending. Finally, on August 18th, she went to the store and talked to the staff personally.

They had claimed they had tried to reach her repeatedly, leaving voicemails even, and due to a lack of communication from her, either sold it or sent it back to the warehouse. Naturally Liz was crushed. Overcome with emotion she shared a very heartfelt video to her followers about her sheer devastation regarding the one Kamen Rider figure she wanted more than any other and, after believing for so long that she had it secured, had it ripped away. To top it off – she was offered $5 store credit and nothing more for the inconvenience.

Enter Bluefin Brands.

Bluefin Brands is the distributor branch of Bandai in North America for Tamashii Nations product. They were pinged on Twitter regarding this story and, within a couple of hours, had reached out to Liz.

We’re happy to report that Ranger Liz will be receiving her S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kiva after all courtesy of the incredibly generous and endearing folks at Bluefin Brands. They didn’t have to reach out to Liz nor did they have to turn her day around – but they did and that speaks volumes.

Please take a moment to check out an awesome product they’ve put together for tokusatsu fans – a Tokusatsu Blind Box which can contain product of Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman. For $100 you will receive three S.H. Figuarts of the above-mentioned properties. On top of that some lucky fans will also receive, for free, the Soul of Chogokin Dragonzord. Click here to check it out and purchase.

Thanks for being an awesome company Bluefin!

Bluefin Brands Announces Super Mini-Pla Astro Megazord and Delta Megazord

Posted on October 8, 2018 at 4:44 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Bluefin Brands has officially announced the release of the Power Rangers In Space Super Mini-Pla Astro Megazord and Delta Megazord in the United States. These items were originally announced via Bandai Japan with pre-orders already open – this marks the 6th and 7th release of Super Mini-Pla items under the Power Rangers brand here in the United States (following Mighty Morphin Megazord, Dragonzord, Titanus, Ninja Megazord with Falconzord, and Shogun Megazord).

Super Mini-Pla are model kids, much like Gundam model kits, where you build these fully functioning, transforming figures from pieces on pegs. You can then either apply the stickers that come with the items or paint them yourself – it is up to you! What makes them special is how close they resemble their in-show models and the fact that they are fully transformable and fully posable.

These are slated to release on 03/15/19 for a grand total of $42 for the pair. Stay tuned for pre-orders to go up at your favorite retailers.
