The latest round of magazine scans gives us a quick look at the future adventures of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

*Centerpiece of these new scans is the mighty Zyuoh Gorilla! Yamato befriends another stranded Zyuman by the name of Larry and learns to bring out his inner power through the VISOR UP technique, transforming into a super-strong Red Ranger!

*With new abilities comes a new weapon: Cube Gorilla! The 6th Mecha is armed with a powerful cannon to fight off Deathgaliens and can combine with Cube Tiger and Cube Elephant to form the mighty Zyuoh Wild!

While Yamato trains, the remaining Zyuohgers continue to explore the human world- and hopefully learn more about the mysterious “bird-man” that gave Zyuoh Eagle his powers. Once again the worlds of Rider and Sentai have collided!

A special teamup episode featuring Kamen Rider Ghost and Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger has been announced for March 27, 2016! This one hour crossover will air in place of the standard SuperHeroTime programming block for the day.

Sadly, no plot details about the meeting of Ghost & the Zyuohgers have been revealed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting meeting of heroes!

A new round of magazine scans has begun circulating, giving fans the first official look at a new form for Kamen Rider Ghost!

This is the Grateful Damshii, an incredible step up in power unlocked when Takeru finally unites the souls of all 15 Heroic Eyecons. Grateful’s abilities are channeled through a new Driver device- the Eyecon Driver G!

Look closely and you can spot the faceplates of all previous forms used by Kamen Rider Ghost scattered across Grateful’s suit. The centerpiece of the costume will change based on whatever Heroic Ability might be needed in combat, all leading to Grateful Damashii’s ultimate attack- Omega Formation!

Grateful Damashii should be appearing in-series very soon! Stay tuned to Tokunation as we keep you up to date on all Kamen Rider news!

Toei’s official YouTube channel has uploaded a full-length trailer for the upcoming anniversary film Superhero Year: Kamen Rider #1!

This time we also get to learn more of the story behind this new adventure: Takeshi Hongo has come out of retirement to rescue the granddaughter of an old friend. He will be joined by Kamen Rider Ghost and Kamen Rider Specter to take on the evil organization Shocker and its splinter group, Nova Shocker.

Kamen Rider #1 premieres in theaters on March 26 2016!

A new image has appeared online teasing out some of the final forms we’re looking at for Kamen Rider Ghost!

The fully lit figure in the image is of course Ghost Grateful Damashii. The near final power up for Ghost which at first glance seems to indicate he can use the powers of all 15 heroic Eyecons at once. Looking closely you can see the emblem of at least Musashi present on his chest.

The middle teaser is for Deep Specter. We don’t have much to go on other than that name and this image but it certainly looks like an ornate design. Lastly and totally out of view is our first tease of Ghosts’ final form, Mugen Damashii. No information about this form other than Mugen Eyecon is currently known.

We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

The first image showing the Sixth Ranger of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger has finally surfaced online!

This years’ Sixth is known as Zyuoh The World! Unlike the previous Zyuohgers, this Ranger has THREE animal spirits- Crocodile, Rhino and Wolf! The costume is a hybrid of colors- orange, black and silver.

According to recent rumors, Zyuoh TheWorld can switch between animal abilities using the Visor Up skill demonstrated by ZyuohEagle in previous listings.

Sadly, nothing is known about the identity of this new Ranger at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Zyuogher news!

Toei has opened their official page for the Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Returns project- Ninnin Girls VS Boys FINAL WARS!

This DVD special will be set two years after the end of Ninninger and feature the team reuniting to prove who has superior Nintality. A new character will be introduced for the film- MidoNinger, the first official female Green Ranger in the history of Super Sentai.

New listings for the second wave of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger toys have been posted online! Sadly, no images have been revealed at time of writing but we can look forward to:

*Two new add-on weapons for Zyuoh King have been revealed: Zyuoh Mogura (a Mole) and Zyuoh Kuma (a Bear).

*The Zyuohgers’ Sixth Ranger, tentatively known as Zyuoh World! Transformation device is listed as Zyuoh The Light and weapon is called Zyuoh The GunRod.

*Three additional Cube Animals are also listed: Zyuoh Wolf, Crocodile and Rhino!

Some brief teasers have been posted online revealing new upgrades for the heroes of Kamen Rider Ghost!

*Ghosts’ final form will be known as Mugen Damashii and will be unlocked with the Mugen (meaning Infinity) Ghost Eyecon.

*Kamen Rider Specter will gain the Deep Specter Ghost Eyecon and obtain an even stronger form- tentatively know as Kamen Rider Deep Specter.

*A special anniversary Eyecon known as the Kamen Rider 45 Eyecon will be included with an upcoming DVD release containing all the Legendary Rider Net Movies.

And now we turn to a truly sad bit of news today. We unfortunately have to report that famed design artist, Yasushi Nirasawa, has passed away at 52. And while that name may not immediately evoke a response, if you’re a fan of the Kamen Rider franchise then you undoubtedly have seen Mr. Nirasawa’s work whether you realized it or not.

Though Mr. Nirasawa has worked with the franchise since Blade he’s most often remembered for his work on Kamen Rider Den-O as the designer behind the Imagin. Today marks the passing of an immense figure in the tokusatsu world. While Den-O is of course my personal favorite of his works, Mr. Nirasawa had his hands in a number of series familiar to fans.

I’d like to take this moment to personally say that without this great mans’ vision and talent I don’t know how I would have ever gotten hooked on Kamen Rider. His designs gave birth to the powerful characters & personalities that first got me into the franchise. Whether breathing life into the terrifying and menacing Worms & Undead of Kamen Riders Kabuto & Blade respectively, or the heartwarming & fun antics of Den-O’s Imagin, Mr Nirasawa brought a special something to every thing he touched.

As one of his greatest (or most annoying depending on your tastes) creations once said, “From start to finish, I’m great!”

Goodbye, Mr. Nirasawa.
