Some time ago we reported that a series of special episodes would be included on the Kamen Rider Ghost Blu-Ray releases featuring the Ganma Prince, Alain (and yes, that does appear to be the official spelling of his name).

The title for this 4-episode special project has recently been revealed: Legends of the Hero Alain and a trailer has been posted online:

The story will follow Alain as he learns more about humanity in an effort to determine the Ganma’s future.

Legend of the Hero Alain will be released with the Kamen Rider Ghost Blu-Rays on April 13, 2016!

The good people at Shout! Factory have confirmed the price & release date for their third Super Sentai Series: Ninja Sentai Kakuranger!

This 10-Disct set will be released on May 17, 2016 for the relatively affordable price of 53.97 USD.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming anniversary project Superhero Year: Kamen Rider 1 has been posted online! The centerpiece of this teaser is Kamen Rider #1, Hiroshi Fujioka himself, performing the iconic Henshin! sequence.

According to recent interviews, Fujioka has been heavily involved with the pre-production of this new film, spending 5 months helping to develop the script. The films’ official head writer is Toshiki Inoue, a veteran of multiple tokusatsu projects. Meanwhile the film will be directed by Osamu Kaneda (whose resume includes both Superhero Taisen projects and Kamen Rider Gaim: Gaiden).

The latest round of magazine scans offers fans a plethora of new details about the future of Kamen Rider Ghost!

Items of note include:

*The next spirit to join Ghosts’ arsenal is the Himiko Damashii! The shaman queen brings a new level of power to Takeru.

*Kamen Rider Necrom is shown in great detail, having already obtained two Damashii for his personal use: Grimm and Sanzo!

*Furthermore, the Necrom Damashii apparently has the power to POSESS other Riders! We see a few images of Kamen Rider Specter Necrom Damashii attacking Kamen Rider Ghost.

*Last but certainly not least we see three more Legendary Rider Damashiis! In Toei’s special anniversary Net Movies, Ghost & Specter will unlock the powers of OOO, Wizard and Fourze!

With the 40th Super Sentai Series drawing closer and closer, a new round of magazine scans offers us even more information about the heroes of Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

*The four Rangers of Zyuland (Sera, Leo, Tusk & Amu) along with Yamato of Earth are drawn together by an artifact know as the Link Cube– a device that opens the connection between their worlds. The Link Cube identifies true Champions and gives this team the power to henshin, and also allows the Zyumans to obtain human form (athough they retain some animal characteristics).

*Each Zyuohger has a power-up form known as Instinct Awakened that brings out their animal spirits! ZyuohEagle gains wings, ZyuohTiger & ZyuohLion both grow large claws, ZyuohShark gains fins and ZyuohElephant develops gigantic feet.

*The scans provide several excellent shots of ZyuohKing in combat, and demonstrate future combinations with the various Zyuoh Cubes.

*This seasons’ method of monster-growing is revealed as well: The female Deathgalian, Nalia inserts an item called a Continue Medal into a defeated warrior, activating the second round of the Blood Game.

Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger premieres February 14 2016! Definitely some wild times ahead for Super Sentai!

The first scans for the upcoming anniversary project Superhero Year: Kamen Rider 1 have surfaced online!

Centerpiece of these new scans is a completely revamped design for Kamen Rider 1 featuring bulky new armor. In addition, the first Rider gets a brand-new motorcycle- the Neo Cyclone!

Furthermore, the scans confirm that original actor Hiroshi Fujioka will reprise his role as Kamen Rider 1! The film’s story involves the return of evil organization Shocker (now split into the original group feuding with a subset called Nova Shocker.) Both Kamen Rider Ghost and Kamen Rider Specter are seen fighting alongside Kamen Rider 1, but it is unknown at this time if other Riders will join the fight.

The first image of the villains that will face off against Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger has surfaced online!

These are the Deathgalians, vicious aliens who attached the animal heroes’ home dimension of Zyuland.

*The purple-cube monster is named Azard.
*The large-headed creature is called Cuval.
*The green female is know as Nalia
*And the commander of all (the one sitting in white) is Ginis.

The Deathgalians are supposedly participants in a vicious contest known as the Blood Game that involves hunting all life on a chosen world. After 99 successful Blood Games, they have selected Earth to be the home of their 100th hunt.

Looks like Toei’s not out of Nintality just yet!

A special V-Cinema project has been announced for the 39th Super Sentai series. This direct-to-video feature, titled Ninnin Girls VS Boys- FINAL WARS will see the Ninningers team up for one final adventure.

Ninnin FINAL WARS will be released on June 22, 2016 and will be packaged with an exclusive NinShuriken toy!
