Another round of magazine scans has begun circulating the Web- offering fans a few hints at the upcoming adventures of Kamen Rider Zero-One!

The continuing attacks by MetsobuJinrai.net mean Zero-One will require even stronger Progrise Keys to turn the tide in battle. And now we see the Shining Hopper key in action- activating Zero-One’s strongest form to date- Shining Hopper!

But this is only one part of Zero-One’s upgrade process! Using a new device called the Assault Grip with the Key, a new form is obtained: Kamen Rider Zero-One Shining Assault Hopper! This powerful configuration defeats enemies with the Shining Storm Impact attack.

And Zero-One isn’t the only Rider who can use the Assault Grip: Kamen Rider Vulcan will use this device for his own upgrade form- Assault Wolf!

Finally, Zero-One will be receiving a Hyper Battle DVD special episode with another unique form: Hopping Kangaroo! Exact release details for this special and the associated Progrise Key have not been confirmed at time of writing.

Between the animated Netflix series, a brand new movie announcement by director Hideaki Anno and the long awaiting release of the franchise back catalogue in the US by Mill Creek Entertainment, it’s already been a rollercoaster year for Ultraman – and it just keeps getting bigger!

Unveiling the news at this weekend’s Tokyo Comic Con, Tsuburaya Productions have announced they will be teaming up with none other than Marvel Comics to bring new Ultraman stories to comics and graphic novels in 2020.

Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski commented: “As one of the world’s most popular franchises, Ultraman has brought together some of the most passionate fandoms in pop culture today, and we can’t wait to bring his story to even more fans around the globe. Like Marvel, Ultraman captivated generations by telling spectacular stories grounded in the real world, and it continues to be a beloved classic through its television shows, movies, toys, games, comics, and more. We are so thrilled to introduce new chapters to the Ultraman Multiverse next year.”

Tsuburaya Production CEO Takayuki Tsukagoshi added: “We are delighted to announce the partnership with Marvel, one of the leading entertainment companies that has produced fascinating characters and stories loved by fans across the globe for over 80 years. We can’t be more excited to explore and create new stories for the Ultraman franchise with Marvel and bringing them to both Marvel and Ultraman fans all around the world.”

While there’s no proper confirmation on what this collaboration will entail just yet this is an extremely exciting prospect for Ultraman fans across the world. What are you hoping to see from Marvel and Tsuburaya next year? Sound off on this news after the jump!

More Ultraman goodness is coming to North America thanks to our friends at Mill Creek Entertainment, with two recent announcements: the web series Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga and The Return of Ultraman series.

Return of Ultraman will be released on February 25, 2020 with a suggested retail price tag of 49.89, a steel book option for this series will be available as well. Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga will retail for $19.99 and will also include Ultra Fight Orb as well.

Joining alongside Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form, a new Ultraman was also added to Bandai’s lineup of S.H.Figuarts figures with the villainous Ultraman Tregear having recently been revealed.

S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Tregear is due out to ship in May 2020 for 7150 yen seemingly as a P-Bandai exclusive. Stay tuned, and we’ll be sure to notify you once pre-orders for this bad boy go live.

Tamashii Nations is taking us for a Time Trippin’ Ride with the latest Heisei Era Kamen Rider to join the impressive S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchu Seihou line up with release info for their forthcoming Kamen Rider Den-O figure thanks to some new magazine scans that have been making the rounds.

We first caught wind of this figure thanks to the last Tamashii Nations event, and thanks to these scans we now have more information on this upcoming figure: S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchu Seihou Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form will be released April 2020 for 8800 yen.

But it seems like he won’t be alone, in addition to Sword Form pictures for a Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Den-O Gun Form were also found. It seems as though Sword and Gun Form will be coming together in one set, and this figure will incorporate an armor change gimmick much like the previously released OOO lineup or Geiz Revive but at this time we have no real clarification on whether or not Gun form is an armor change gimmick or a stand-alone figure.

Whether or not this figure will combo change or not, and whether or not our friends over at Blufin Brands will bring it over stateside remains to be seen, but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as more info is provided.

The smash hit character of Boom! Studios Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics finally arrives in the Lightning Collection line! Lord Drakkon has been a figure many hoped would find it’s way to this line quickly. So it’s crazy to think that it was only revealed least month and now it’s already hitting store shelves. Another excellent addition to the line, Lord Drakkon is primarily built off of the MMPR White Ranger mold, though it’s armed with Drakkon’s own ornate armor. Complimented by his own Dragon Dagger, Lord Drakkon is ready to conquer your Lightning Collection.

ZERO ONE! ZERO ONE! ZERO ONE!

There’s no doubt that Kamen Rider Zero-One’s opening theme song won many fans over. Thanks to Toei’s official Zero-One Twitter page, the single for this song’s finally been given a release date.

REALxEYEZ performed by JxTakanori Nishikawa will see a release in January 2020. Both a full length and TV size versions will be included in this single in addition to the DX REALxEYEZ Progrise Key: a Rising Hopper key themed after the singers.

A new full-length trailer has been released for the upcoming Kamen Rider crossover film Kamen Rider Reiwa: The First Generation!

This movie features the return of Kamen Rider Zi-O and his enemies, the TimeJackers. Changes to the timestream have caused the HumaGear to revolt, so Zi-O must recruit Kamen Rider Zero-One to save the timeline.

A new Rider is created to fight the HumaGear: Kamen Rider Ichigata! This design is a throwback to the original Rider, Kamen Rider Ichigou!

Kamen Rider Reiwa: The First Generation is currently scheduled for release on December 21 2019!
