Happy Ultraman Day indeed! As revealed exclusively by SciFi Japan, Mill Creek Entertainment (in conjunction with Indigo Entertainment) has just struck a tremendous deal with Tsuburaya Productions. Mill Creek has just acquired the *entire* Ultraman library of series and films ranging from 1966’s Ultra Q all the way through to today for both physical home media & digital releases!

This announcement means that nearly every single production released as a part of the Ultra Series in the last 50+ years (over 1100 episodes and 20 movies) has the potential for both physical Blu-Ray releases as well as digital streaming options. To kick off this acquisition, Mill Creek has also officially revealed it’s first two home media releases, Ultra Q and Ultraman!

Both Ultra Q & Ultraman will be released in Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray series sets on October 15th for $49.98 each. Standard Packaging releases of each series will be made available on the same day for $39.98 as well. Each set will also include Digital redemption codes through Mill Creek’s Moviespree streaming service! Both series have been remastered in high definition with DTS-HD Masters of the original Japanese audio, with a fresh set of English subtitles. You can pre-order each set at the following links.:

This is a pretty huge announcement on a day that was already a true celebration of the franchise itself. The door is now wide open for the heroes that came after the original Ultraman to finally be available to English speaking audiences on Blu-Ray & digital streaming widely. IT’S MORPHIN TIME!

The latest update to nWay’s Battle For the Grid video game expands the roster with three fan favrioute characters, and those characters are:

Trey of Triforia, the Zeo Gold Ranger

Jen Scotts, the Time Force Pink Ranger

A Red Ranger With Dragon Shield skin for Jason,

And last but certainly not least: the villainous Lord Zedd himself!

The three characters will be part of Battle For the Grid’s Season One Pass, priced at $14.99. For those that may not want the season pass, each character can be purchased individually for $6.99.

Bandai Japan has opened a teaser page for the next entry in the Complete Selection Modification collector series.

The next CSM entry will be the Amazons Driver from Kamen Rider Amazons! This special web series aired in 2016 and served as a revamp of sorts to the 1974 release Kamen Rider Amazon.

Sadly, no price or release details for the Amazons Driver have been confirmed at time of writing. However, the page lists July 16 2019 as an announcement date, so stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

Bandai’s Candy Toy Blog has just fully revealed two new upcoming waves of Shodo-X! Consisting of releases from Kamen Rider Agito as well as Kamen Rider Black & Black RX, we get a huge variety for forms and a few Rider Machines:

Kamen Rider Agito
– Agito Ground Form
– Agito Trinity Form
– Agito ShiningForm
– Machine Tornador (A parts)
– Machine Tornador (B Parts)
– Extension set (Weapons & parts to make Flame/Storm forms)

So you get nearly every Agito form aside from Burning as well as his Rider Machine in this wave! Of note however is that you will need duplicates of Ground & Trinity Form in order to have stand-alone Flame & Storm Forms at the same time. So expect to see cases broken down to sell extras when this wave releases.

Comparisons are shown between these new Shodo-X releases and the original Shodo VS releases for Black & company, illustrating the improvements of the X line. So if you picked up the older VS releases, it looks like a fairly significant upgrade this go around.

Toei has announced a special presentation honoring the 20th anniversary of the Super Sentai series KyuKyu Sentai GoGo V!

Titled Gathering The Tatsumi Siblings this live event will see all five members of GoGo V reunite for a talk-show discussing their adventures-

*Ryuichiro Nishioka as Go Red.
*Masashi Taniguchi as Go Blue.
*Atsushi Harada as Go Green.
*Kenji Shibata as Go Yellow.
*Kayoko Shibata as Go Pink.

The Gathering is officially scheduled for September 1 2019! This special will also receive a DVD release in late 2019 for those unable to attend.

As we approach SDCC 2019, many collector’s are expecting a number of new Power Rangers Lightning Collection reveals. While the SDCC exclusive Red & Gold Ranger 2-pack was revealed earlier this month, we had yet to see any new announcements for retail release.

Today, Screenrant has exclusively revealed the upcoming Lightning Collection MMPR Dragon Shield Black Ranger! More commonly known as the Armored Black Ranger, this iconic form of the Black Ranger made it’s single episode debut During MMPR Season 2 as part of the “Zyu 2” footage. This figure retails for $19.99 will be released as a Walgreen’s exclusive and you can read their item description below:

L-I-O-N! LION!

Just in case you missed it our friends at Tamashii Nations recently revealed that an S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Beast was in the works, to compliment this release a separate set containing his Beast Mantles was also teased, and P-Bandai finally opened the pre-order page for that set and with that, we now have pricing, release info, and some new pictures to go along with it.

Pre-Orders for the Beast Mantle set will begin June 28 2019 and will ship out in November later in the year. Suggested retail price is 4,400 yen before shipping and handling fees wherever applicable.

Some new magazine scans for the Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger have been released!

The shining star of this month is the newest Kishiryu, MosaRex! This aquatic beast is partnered with the recently-introduced RyuSoul Gold MosaRex is well versed in combat- capable of transforming into a Mecha form- Kishiryu Neptune!

But teamwork leads to even greater strength- and MosaRex is able to combine with other Kishiryu as well! A special battle combination is shown with previously-introduced DimeVolcano– creating a new formation known as Kishiryu SpinoThunder!

And when fighting alongside Ryusoul Red and his own partner, Tyramigo a combination unlike anything previously seen comes forth- the God of Water & Fire, Gigant KishiRyuOh!

Finally, a quick image of the dragonic Kishiryujin is shown as a teaser for the upcoming summer movie Time Slip! Dinosaur Panic– which will send the RyuSoulgers back to the faithful origins of their tribe & the legendary battle with the Druidons.

A new round of magazine scans has begun circulating the Internet, giving fans a few hints at the upcoming adventures of Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Taking center stage this month is Zi-O’s ultimate configuration- Kamen Rider Zi-O Ohma Form! An upgrade based on his tyrannical future self, this form is stronger than any previously used by the King Of Time- even channeling the powers of all previous Kamen Rider Final Forms! The exact origins of Ohma Form are not detailed; this story will be told in full during the upcoming summer movie Over Quartzer.

And it seems Kamen Rider Geiz also has a new form on the horizon! An upcoming Hyper Battle DVD is teased, with Geiz gaining new powers based on Kamen Rider Ghost thanks to a new RideWatch– the Bibiru RideWatch!

Last but not least, it seems some passing-through Kamen Riders will be returning once again! Both Kamen Rider Decade and Kamen Rider DiEnd will appear in the series, once again grappling with control over Rider history.

Accepting the power of the Evol Driver and rejecting the pain of his grief, Utsumi is reborn as Kamen Rider Mad Rogue!

A familiar mold returns for it’s 4th outing for Kamen Rider Build. Night Rogue, Blood Stalk, Hell Bros, and now Mad Rogue! A lavish repaint with some new molding, Mad Rogue is absolutely gorgeous in hand. While evoking the fierce grief of Utsumi’s loss, this figure does manage to look a bit like a certain G2 Transformer as well…. Armed with the Nebula Steam Gun and Steam Blade, Mad Rogue is a wonderful (and brightly colored) new menace for your heroic riders!
