A few early scans detailing the upcoming adventures of Kamen Rider Build have been posted online!

*Centerpiece of these new scans is the villainous BloodStark: a cobra-based creature who sets out to challenge Build in unexpected ways. The exact relationship between BloodStark & previously-established villain NightRogue remains unclear so far, but both seem to have similar powers & goals.

*To fight back against this new opponent, Sento develops a new device: the ClawsDragon! Intended to be used with the DRAGON FullBottle; Sento has a very specific user in mind for both…

Definitely some exciting adventures ahead! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Kamen Rider Build details!

2018-2019 Super Sentai Trademarks Confirmed, Patoranger AND Lupinranger!

Posted on September 25, 2017 at 11:42 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

It’s that time of year again folks, the official trademark has been filed for the 2018-2019 Super Sentai. But this time we’re in for a bonus. Toei has filed for, and this has been officially confirmed by the usual Trademark Bot account) two separate sentai trademarks!

The pair are Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger AND Kaito Sentai Lupinranger! Based on those names alone, it certainly sounds like Toei is setting up two teams to square off against one another cops & robbers style. So what do you think of this unlikely development in the saga of Super Sentai? What will it mean for next year? And how many rangers will there be?! We’ll update you with more information on this/these upcoming series(?) as more information becomes available.

S.I.C Hexa OOO(AKA: Boss) Pre Order Info

Posted on September 25, 2017 at 12:50 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

COUNT THE MEDALS!

Bandai’s finally gearing up to release one of its S.I.C Hero Saga designs to the public, with new images for that awesome S.I.C Hexa OOO(Formally known as Boss) and pricing having just been released. The figure seems to have been given a number of revisions, as he looks mighty different since the last we saw him.

S.I.C Hexa OOO will see release as a Hyper Hobby Online Shop limited item. Pre-Orders will begin September 25th and will run until November 13th, 2017 with a final release date of May 2018. Hexa OOO will run you 9,180 yen before shipping and middleman fees.

For those of you who may be wondering just who the heck Hexa OOO is; he was created specifically for the Kamen Rider OOO portion of S.I.C Hero Saga, and only existed as a custom piece till now, he was created from Greeds using Core Medals representing Shocker, Gel Shocker, Destron GOD, and Garanda Empire. It isn’t uncommon for S.I.C Hero Saga exclusives to see the light of day; last time we saw a Hero Saga exclusive character getting released was Kamen Rider Garren King Form back in 2015.

Ultraman: S.H. Figuarts Gomora Gallery

Posted on September 24, 2017 at 3:32 pm by Den-O under TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights, Ultraman

It’s time once again to check out a giant sized creature of epic proportions in another Ultraman S.H. Figuarts gallery! Dating back to the original TV series, episode 26 to be exact, is the immense creature Gomora! Though we’ve seen examples of this species many times since it’s debut, the most memorable for many is still the original.

S.H. Figuarts Gomora is a pretty beefy figure when you get right down to it. A beast fit to fight your Ultramen figures. Gomora lacks some of the better articulation we’ve come to expect with Kaiju figuarts, but does make up for things with his wonderfully segmented tail. Pair him up with your S.H. Figuarts Ultraman, or in my case the old Ultra-Act V2, and you can see just why Kaiju figuarts continue to go strong. He even includes some special accessories to replicate his severed tail and horn from his battle with Ultraman!

We’ve attached the full 70 image gallery to this post but you can also check out our full length review of S.H. Figuarts Gomora by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time we’ll be back to “Start our mission” with a brand new gallery from Kamen Rider Drive!

Tamashii Pick Ups: S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive Form and Shocker Combatman Renewal

Posted on September 22, 2017 at 1:33 am by Kiryu under Kamen Rider, Ultraman

FUSION UP!

As you may recall, an S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive Form was rumoured to have been in develoupment, thanks to a little blurb that was contained in the instruction manual for one of Ultraman Orb’s Figuarts, we finally have our first look at the figure thanks to Bandai’s most recent Tamashii Pick Up announcement with his only accessory being shown thus far being an effect piece to represent his Wrecking Burst finishing move.

In addition to that, we have the S.H.Figuarts Shocker Combatman Renewal utilizing the new body that was first seen at Tamashii Nations World Tour Taipei. Shown to include two weapons: a knife, and a staff as part of his accessory count.

Both figures will be released at mass retail as part of the February batch of releases, the price point has yet to be announced as of this writing but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as that info is made available. Until then, stay tuned and join the discussion after the jump.
