This past month we took some time getting back into the swing of things and after a lengthy hiatus and some technical difficulties we’re slowly but surely getting back to bringing you great content! Including your favorite toy galleries of recent releases and vintage favorites. For July 2016 we took a look at 4 very unique releases:

Power Morphicon Guest Update 2 of 2 – Guest Cancellations

Posted on August 1, 2016 at 3:18 pm by Chris under Power Morphicon

We thought it was important to highlight the guests that have had to cancel for this year’s Official Power Morphicon in their own update in case they were tops on your list of autograph and photo-ops. Check out the current list of cancellations below.

  • Danny Slavin (Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Red Ranger)
  • Dan Southworth (Power Rangers Time Force, Quantum Ranger)
  • Chris Violette (Power Rangers S.P.D., Blue Ranger)
  • Peta-Maree Rixon (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Alpha 5)

We are sad to see these guests not being able to attend. Most of all, we are sad that the opportunity to have all six Power Rangers Time Force Rangers in attendance, along with the villains, is no longer possible. But there’s still great photo opportunities out there so please head to the Official Power Morphicon site and pre-register for your photo-ops!

UPDATE! Danny Slavin will now be appearing on Friday and Saturday at Power Morphicon! Great news for those who were upset that he had cancelled earlier.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser Mach Gallery

Posted on July 30, 2016 at 12:48 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

“You used me, you brought shame on my sister, you used Krim’s inventions for Evil! But, worse than any of that, you…..
you killed my friend!!“

The rage and conviction of Machs’ loss is embodied in this final last ditch form used to defeat his father, Gold Drive. Though a last minute addition to the series, Kamen Rider Chaser Mach manages to debut in one of the most heartbreaking and powerful scenes in Kamen Rider Drive.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Chaser Mach is pretty much like it’s show counterpart. A combination of various parts from the two figures that preceded it, Chaser & Mach. But surprisingly it doesn’t feel tired or boring even if I’ve technicality handled this figure several times before. Chaser Mach seamlessly integrates the components of these two riders into one fantastic form that feels just right. Throw in a cople signature weapons like the Zenrin Shooter & Signal Ax and you’ve one pretty darn solid release. Now if only S.H. Figuarts Gold Drive were out already, this gallery needs a deadbeat dad….

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but please enjoy 75 images after the jump by clicking “discuss on the TokuNation forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with several more galleries!

Talkin Toku Announces Return – Large Group of Fandom Contributors

Posted on July 27, 2016 at 11:00 am by Chris under General Tokusatsu News

A few years ago, Kickback, Den-O, and Sentai Tamashii/Soulink decided to create a podcast centered around tokusatsu. It was originally called “Talkin Toku at the Nation“, and then shortened at some point for reasons that escape us to “Talkin Toku“. But – life happens, and Kickback and Den-O were blessed with the ability to start their own families, and the time just wasn’t there anymore to consistently release professional podcasts in a timely manner. The final episode was released in February, and all archives went dark in March of this year.

However – you can’t always keep a nerd quiet, and the urge to continue to talk about these things was too great. Thus, a new joint project between Kickback of TokuNation.com and Jmann of CollectionDX.com has resulted in the revival of Talkin Toku. Check out the announcement video below.

The planned launch episode will release the first week of September. Contributors to the show include Kickback, Den-O, Sentai Tamashii/Soulink of TokuNation.com, Jmann of CollectionDX.com, Trekkieb47 and HollywoodZ from the Ranger Command Power Hour podcast, Dan Pearce from Dan’s Toku Rants, The Ranger Talk, baltmatrix, Vangelus, Shukuen Shinobi, and ZeronXepher.

Please check out the official Talkin Toku YouTube channel and subscribe! You don’t want to miss some of the stuff we have planned!

Talkin Toku is now an independent enterprise created by and operated by Kickback and Jmann. Videos shown on this website, or any website, are simply for promotional purposes to help spread the word. To contact Talkin Toku, please visit the official Facebook page or the official @TalkinToku Twitter page. You can also E-mail us at talkintoku (at) gmail (dot) com.
