You didn’t think we were done did you? That’s right – going through various files from our extensive coverage of this year’s San Diego Comic Con revealed a few tidbits of stuff that we left out with that whole “readjusting back to normal life” thing that you go through post-convention! This set of images is none other than the upcoming Legacy Blade Blaster!

Now, keep in mind these are images of a prototype, a not-ready-for-retail version. What ends up in our hands will LOOK very similar to this, but it will not necessarily be what you’re seeing in the display case. Speaking of the display case – let’s convince Bandai America to increase the lighting next year!!

Either way – this is a beautiful prop and we can’t wait to get it in our hands. As the Legacy line continues, Bandai America continues to increase the quality of the products they are putting out. And no matter how you spin it, that’s a win for fans and collectors alike. Check out the images by clicking the title of the story!

With his premiere still two months away, Kamen Rider Ghost is not even trying to be all secret and hush-hush like you’d expect a ghost to be (…yeah, bad joke, we’re sorry). Anyhow, thanks to an article at LiveDoor News we have ourselves the first “live-action” look at the upcoming hero Kamen Rider Ghost!

In addition the Kamen Rider Ghost & Kamen Rider Drive August magazine scans that have popped up, we have a round of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger images as well! The following images reveal a few new details for the upcoming August airing episodes of the series.

First off we see the introduction of 3 brand new Great Yokai, but these aren’t the typical enemies of the Ninningers. These are the Great Western Yokai! Summoned by Ariake No Kata these three hail from America & Europe. Each of them is themed after a classic monster and are named in that fashion; Werewolf, Dracula, & Franken. Werewolf seems to be the final piece of the puzzle as to what happened to Starninger’s family.

And on the topic of Kinji it appears that another user of the Chouzetsu Changer has proven himself. In the comings months we’ll be treated to Chouzetsu Starninger! Details of Kinji’s new transformation have yet to be revealed but we’ll keep you up to date as we find out more about these upcoming episodes!

One more Rider comes to Zawame City!

A leaked image from the filming of Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden II has revealed the villain for this new sidestory- Kamen Rider Savior!

Savior’s human identity is unconfirmed, but he transforms using the Blood Orange and Zakuro (meaning pomegranate) LockSeeds! Savior is armed with the Savior Arrow, an upgraded version of the iconic Sonic Arrow.

Gaim Gaiden II will be released on November 11 2015! Stay tuned to TokuNation between now and then as we keep you up to date on all Gaim developments!

And the hits keep on coming! Following up from Kamen Rider Ghost scans from Figure Oh, we have a selection of new Kamen Rider Drive images from August airing episodes! Not only do we see the upcoming Ultimate Evolution of Medic, but also 2 brand new riders!

First up is the new Kamen Rider Gold Drive! As indicated by the scans this rider is actually the consciousness of Banno Tenjuro, the creator of the Roidmudes, given physical form with a spare Drive Driver. The gold coloring of this form would seem to indicate it’s related to the Ultimate Evolution of the Roidmudes, perhaps the 4th of the promised number?

The 2nd new rider revealed today is a Mass Production version of Kamen Rider Mach! In an effort to conitnue the fight against the Roidmudes, the Metro PD has mass produced Mach HonOh Drivers and armor. Rather than a Shift Bike or Car though, this new MP Mach Driver uses a generic version of the Tridoron Key to initiate the transformation!

That’s quite a few curve balls for Drive to be throwing us this late in the game, how it all ends is anyone’s guess from here!

A plethora of new images have come online, giving the world its first genuine look at the 17th Hesei-Era Kamen Rider!

These magazine images show off Kamen Rider Ghost in splendid detail, starting with his cameo appearance in Surprise-Drive and offering a few brief teasers for his upcoming television show.

Some new details about Ghosts’ arsenal have also been revealed- Kamen Rider Ghost’s alternate forms are listed as Damashii (literally soul). In addition to the Ore Damashii that creates Ghosts’ default form, these images reveal the yellow Edison Damashii, the red Musashi Damashii and the blue Newton Damashii. In addition, we also have some up-close shots of the Ghost Driver and the Eyecons that Ghost will use to change Damashii forms.

Today  brings yet another early look at the upcoming 17th heisei kamen rider, Kamen Rider Ghost! 

– First up we have a brand new image giving us our first full bodied look at Ghost in 3 of his forms; Musashi Soul, Edison Soul, & Ore Soul.

– Next we have our first look at the various new weapons created from the combination of Ghost’s Ghost Gadgets with his Gangan Saber! Follow this link to see our breakdown of how those combinations work for each of Ghost’s Souls.

– Lastly we have our first clear look at how this years gimmick action figure line, Ghost Change, will work! In a similar fashion to the old COR line from Kabuto or the AC line from Gaim, the Soul “jackets” are accessories that snap on over the basic rider bodies. The jacket has a rotating face plat that when not connected to a rider gives the effect of a ghostly aura where the face should be. It would also apepar that the “sleeves” are jointed somewhat so as not to hinder the figures articulation. We know based on the Ghost Series release information that Ghost & Specter bodies will only be included with GC01 & GC03.

The long wait is over! With SDCC News and updates out of the way it’s time for TokuNation to return to it’s regularly scheduled programming of new toy galleries! First up on the chopping block our long overdue look at the villain of the classic tokusatsu series Kikaider 01. The evil mastermind behind SHADOW, it’s S.H. Figuarts Gill Hakaider! Gill Hakaider is of course the second character to bear the Hakaider name. A new version of the cyborg created using the evil Professor Gill’s own brain, this creature would be the arch nemesis of Kikaider’s older brother Kikaider 01!

In figure form Gill Hakaider is very similar to the previously released Hakaider with a few key differences. Primarily newly painted face details as well as the Hakaider emblem emblazoned on his chest. Though the biggest differences would the inclusion of Gill’s mechanical mind controlling flute staff as well as his cape! Though the cape is more generally associated with his anime counterpart, it’s an incredibly cool bonus to get here.

While we’ve attached a selection of images to this post, check out over 50 images of S.H. Figuarts Gill Hakaider included several with his namesake Hakaider as well as the Kikaider brothers after the jump. We’ll revisit the Kikaider world again in the coming months with a gallery of Kikaider 01’s Double Machine!

Wonderfest 2015 is currently underway and one of the big surprises from this year was revealed just a few days ago. And as of today the X Plus booth currently has their full Daizyujin PVC Figure on Display!

PVC Daizyujin is a non-transformable, near 18″ tall static figure. While the display prototype doesn’t feature open hands it does appear to include the Mammoth Shield and God Horn Dinosaur Sword. So chances are an additional set of hands to hold the pair will be included. Currently we don’t have specific release information outside of a 2015 time frame, and price has yet to be announced.

 

Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger & Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fans alike should definitely be excited for this one. When we have more information to report we’ll be sure to update you!

The good people at RangerCrew have uncovered some new episode summaries for the upcoming return of Power Rangers Dino Charge!

Be warned, the summaries contain spoilers-

Episode 9 – When Logic Fails, (8/29/15)
The Maze monster, working with Fury, captures the Rangers until Riley’s logical mind helps break them free. But the delay has allowed Fury time to head toward the Ptera Zord.

Episode 10 – The Royal Rangers, (9/5/15)
Tyler and Shelby pose as the Prince and Princess to discover the Gold Energem among the exhibits that the country of Zandar gave as a loan. Fury tries to bring down a trap to regain control of the Ptera Zord.

Episode 11 title unconfirmed (9/12/15)
Koda and the Rangers battle to save an arrogant prince and the Gold Energem.

Episode 12 title unconfirmed (9/19/15)
The Rangers must demonstrate their value to persuade their latest ally, the Gold Ranger, but find they do not have the willpower to do so when one of Sledge’s monsters steals their courage.

Episode 13 title unconfirmed (9/26/15)
A fun rivalry between Tyler and Ivan becomes a problem when it interferes with the efforts of the Rangers to find and defuse a bomb planted by Sledge’s monsters.
