Announced on the LexCon facebook page comes word that Yuta Mochizuki known for his role as Tyranno Ranger in Kyoryu Sentai Zyurager has sadly had to cancel his LexCon appearance for this year. Mr Mochizuki has become severely ill and unfortunately can’t make the trip to the states for now.

The silver lining to this sad situation though is that another Zyuranger actor will be taking his place. None other than Aohisa Takayasu AKA Mammoth Ranger! We certainly send our best wishes to Mr. Mochizuki and hope for a swift recovery, in the interim though be sure to head to the Lexington Comic & Toy Con from March 13th-15th to meet Mr. Takayasu!

The latest round of magazine scans have given us our first complete look at Kamen Rider Drive’s newest upgrade: Type Formula!

Type Formula is based on a high-performance racing car. To unlock and maintain this new form, Drive will receive three special new Shift Cars:

*F01- Mantan
*F02- Jack
*F03- Spanner

Kamen Rider Drive will still be able to use other Shift Cars when in Type Formula, but the most impressive upgrade to Drive’s arsenal is another new weapon: the Trailer Cannon! Drive will load Shift Cars into the Cannon as a final attack.

Type Formula should be appearing on-screen in the very near future. Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on all Drive details!

A new round of magazine scans has surfaced online, showing us some upcoming new abilities for the 39th Super Sentai!

Next month, the Ninningers will unlock two new Mecha: PaonMaru the elephant and UFOMaru the flying saucer! Both can combine with ShurikenJin and create brand-new combat styles.

The NinShuriken that unlock these two Mecha can also be used in the Ninningers’ Shinobi Ichibantou for extra powers!

*PaonMaru’s Shuriken grants the Ninningers stretch-arms in combat.
*UFOMaru’s Shuriken makes enemies levitate in midair.

In addition, the scans reveal another member of the Kibaoni that will face the Ninningers: Gabi Raizo!

Once again the worlds of Rider and Sentai collide!

In honor of the upcoming film project SuperHero Taisen GP Kamen Rider Drive will cross over with Shuriken Sentai Ninninger for the Super Hero Time! programming block on March 29, 2015.

Continuing through Kamen Rider W, the next on Medicom’s rebooted RAH DX list is of course Kamen Rider Skull.

Like previous releases, RAH DX Kamen RIder Skull 2.0 will be released via the Medicom Premium Club online shop exclusive retailing for 23,220 yen slated for release in October. Included is the Skull Magnum accessory, in addition to a swappable Skull Crystal head from the Movie War Core film. The biggest difference here is that the scarf and signature fedora appears to be made from a cloth based material for a more realistic appearance.

Remember those images that leaked awhile back of some ugly looking Power Rangers costumes? Remember that movie that everyone was trying to figure out why Katie Sackhoff was involved? Turns out it was indeed a Power Rangers short film directed by Joseph Kahn, a well-known music video director. The short film has now been released and the entire Internet is exploding over the contents.

Before we link you to anything it needs to be stated – this short film has many adult situations including drugs, nudity, extreme violence, death, guns … basically everything the parents from the 1990’s claimed that Power Rangers was promoting. The reason the short film has these things is Joseph Kahn’s parody of Hollywood – their incessant need to make everything grim-dark and gritty is the reason he decided to take, in his words, “something so incredibly silly” and then turn it in to this.

The story is rough and not incredibly explained – but the gist is that the Machine Empire and the Earth have joined together in an alliance and now Rocky, fitted with a machine leg to boot (and played by James Van Der Beek) has captured Kim (played by Katie Sackhoff) looking for one person – Tommy. Their dialogue explains what has happened to the other characters – Jason, Billy, Zack, and Trini. In these flashbacks is where you get the NOT SAFE FOR WORK content.

Just revealed this past weekend, Tamashii Nations has thrown up official images and an order page for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zeronos Vega Form!

Zeronos’ 2nd form through out the course of Kamen Rider Den-O, Vega represents the fusion of this rider & the Imagin Deneb. This imposing figure will include 9 additional hands, an alternate Zeronos buckle, Zeronos cards, as well as a belt holster, & the Zerogasher in both crossbow & saber mode!

Kamen Rider Zeronos Vega Form will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in July for 5940 yen!

After weeks of teasers and speculations, we now have a clear look at Kamen Rider Drive’s next form: Type Formula!

This new Type is a basic blue color with some additional vehicle kibble on the front and back of the suit. Based on previous listings we know Type Formula will use a new weapon- the Trailer Cannon– but no other details are known at this time.
