A leaked image from the upcoming second-quarter toy catalogs has surfaced online. This gives us a quick look at the Shingou Axe– a melee weapon based on a traffic light.
However, this upgrade is not just another weapon for Shinnosuke or Gou- the scans indicate that the Shingou Axe will belong to a NEW hero: Kamen Rider Chaser!
No details on Chaser are confirmed at this time but a connection to the Roimude Grim Reaper seems likely! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

Following the pre-empting of episode 46 of Ressha Sentai ToQger in order to cover the tragic news that occurred last weekend, TV-Asahi’s schedule for Super Sentai has now been pushed back a week. With ToQ #46 airing this weekend (8/22) and the finale episode coming the following week (15/22), this means the originally proposed Shuriken Sentai Ninninger debut has been pushed back to the 22nd February.
While we kindly ask Tokunation.com members to be mindful of the events that led to this delay, we hope you’ll all be joining us on the 22nd for the debut of this brand new Super Sentai series.
Something isn’t right on this Let’s Watch Wednesdays. The Power Rangers are in for much more trouble than they bargained for this week. Five doppelgangers have appeared. Deadly weapons created to impersonate, hunt, and destroy the Power Rangers, the Psycho Rangers are here!
Seemingly normal rangers at first these twisted creations show their true form soon and threaten to tear the team apart! As they drain the rangers powers, they learn more about them, every time making them more deadly than before! But is this the final depth of their power, or are their true forms even more monstrous than before….
Though Nuremberg Toy Fair ended a few days ago we’re taking one final look at it. Thanks to the fine folks at Atamaii.TV we have a video showcasing the various Power Rangers Dino Charge displays from Bandai!
Though no new or previously un-reported products are displayed in this video we still get a great look at the current line up of Dino Charge product. And we’re sure there will be much more to see at the upcoming New York Toy Fair!
A special pre-screening event for the latest Makai Knight project, GARO: Gold Storm took place in Japan recently. We now have several new story details about this project and its television spinoff with the same title:
*The plot of Gold Storm (the movie) will involve Ryuga (the current wearer of GARO) and Makai Priest Rian attempting to cleanse the Golden Armor when they are confronted by living weapons- the Madou– who have another way to free the world from monsters. In the process Ryuga will unlock a new stage of power referred to as Garo Sho.
*The Gold Storm television series will focus on Ryuga & Rian’s efforts to seal away a castle known as Radan. Along the way they will meet a new Makai Priest named Gard and another Makai Knight named Akitsuki Daigo whose intentions are unclear. Gold Storm will also introduce a new Horror named Jinga– played by Inoue Masahiro, the actor famous for playing Kamen Rider Decade!
GARO: Gold Storm (the movie) is set to premiere in theaters on March 28 2015. An exact air date for the TV series is not yet announced so stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

These fantastic figures are based on the equally excellent Kyoryu Red mold, though Kyoryu Blue & Green were released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive 2-pack. Because of this they’ve become a bit harder to find for a decent price and have seen a significant increase in demand. But don’t let that deter you. S.H. Figuarts Kyoryu Blue & Green share Kyoryu Red’s excellence in accessory count, sculpt, and articulation. It’s like getting a double dose of fantastic figures loaded down with best accessories they could possibly have. But definitely take a look at this gallery if you need some convincing.

Hot on the heels of previous previews for the upcoming Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, a new clip has surfaced online!
Today’s new clip gives us our first short look at the Shuriken Henge sequence the Ninningers undergo. Though there’s clearly a portion of the sequence missing in the middle this is our first real look at that scene and the sound effects which accompany it.
