Hasbro has sent over some high resolution images of the upcoming Power Rangers Lightning Collection Wave 9 figures.  These are slated to release in August 2021 but your mileage may vary depending on which retailer you pre-order (some estimate July, others estimate August).

Bandai Japan has released a teaser for the next entry in the Shodo SUPER toyline.

The next Super Sentai to be released in this new series will be 2001’s Hyakuju Sentai GaoRanger (which Western fans will recognize as the source material for Power Rangers Wild Force).

Based on previous release patterns, this likely means a Super Minipla release for the Gaoranger mecha in the near future as well!

Hasbro has completed their Fan First Friday reveal for Power Rangers offering fans a treasure trove of new information on upcoming releases!

Starting off, the ninth wave of the Lightning Collection has been revealed in full! This new wave will consist of:


*SPD Green Ranger
*In Space Black Ranger
*Lost Galaxy Blue Ranger
*Tenga Warrior

All will be open for preorder later today on Hasbro Pulse!

Next, the upcoming new season Power Rangers Dino Fury took center stage! New design lead John Warden demonstrated the Dino Fury ZORD LINK system, which offers a tremendous new level of combination AND articulation for the mecha! These Dino Fury Zords will have a unique selling pattern: the Red Rangers’ T-Rex Champion Zord will have a stand-alone release while the remaining Zords will be sold in two-packs (Pink & Green alongside Blue & Black).

Not to be outdone, a few other collector items were also on display- including new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from the ReAction collector line, and a new transparent MMPR Megazord in the Super7 series.

Finally, Hasbro has released an early look at the Power Rangers Dino Fury theme song!

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Polygon Pictures anime project set in the monster robot world of Pacific Rim!

Titled Pacific Rim: The Black, this series features two siblings discovering an abandoned Jaeger Robot and fighting across the Kaiju-infected continent of Australia.

Pacific Rim: The Black premieres on Netflix March 4 2021.

We have a premiere date for the next season of Power Rangers!

New cable listings have confirmed the first episode of Power Rangers Dino Fury will air Saturday, February 20 2021 at 8 AM on Nickelodeon!

A brief plot outline has been released for the Dino Fury premiere, titled “Destination Dinohenge”–
Go-getting reporter Amelia accompanies Ollie and his mom, Dr. Akana, to investigate the mysterious Dinohenge statues. The run into an evil warrior named Void Knight and a threat that puts the entire world in danger.

In addition, a listing for the SECOND episode of Dino Fury- titled “Sporix Unleashed” has also been published:
Ollie carries out a plan to catch Sporix without his teammates’ knowledge. When monsters take advantage of his idea, Ollie realizes the benefit of working as a team.

This episode will air Saturday, February 27 2021.
