If you’re a fan of new tokusatsu-inspired properties then 2021 is shaping up to be a banner year for you. First, we had Radiant Black launch earlier this month and inside we got our first look at another new property coming – Inferno Girl Red!
This project will be tied to a Kickstarter that launches in March. We don’t know much more about the property aside from a character sheet of our main character – Cássia Costa. More details will be announced when the Kickstarter goes live and from our first look at things – we’re 100% on board!

The new Z-Riser powered form of Belial’s son will release as a Tamashii web exclusive in July 2021 for the price of 7480 yen. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Bandai’s Candy Toy Blog has released an official teaser image of the long awaited Gao King Super Minipla! For the time being all we have is this silhouette of Gao King as well as the silhouettes of the 6 Shodo Super Gaorangers in the background.
However, this teaser also promises more information to come next month, on March 5th & 6th. Today, February 18th in Japan, officially marked the 20th anniversary of Gaoranger in Japan, and in honor of that Toei will be livestreaming an event via youtube with the official reveals of both the Shodo Super Gaorangers & Super Minipla Gao King. Tune in then for more release info!
In the midst of all the Shin Ultraman hype following the recently released teaser trailer, Medicom have revealed they too will be joining the merchandising train with the announcement of a MAFEX Shin Ultraman figure. So far this reveal only consists of a teaser image of the figure, so how this will differ from Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts offering outside of sculpting is still unknown. We’ll update you on accessories, release date, pricing and any other news as it comes!

A new addition joins ThreeZero’s morphinominal line of 1/6th scale with the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger donning the Dragon Shield.
The ThreeZero Mighty Morphin Red Ranger Dragon Shield figure will be available in shops on July 28th, 2021 final orders will be due March 22 2021 starting at $130 suggested retail price. The figure itself will be limited to only 1000 pieces so be sure to secure yours quickly.

Last year Tsuburaya Productions released Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, the latest in the Ultra Fight range of miniseries, to their official YouTube channel. The ten episode series was made available with both Japanese subtitles and an English language dub.
