GoodSmile Company has officially revealed a collaboration with SENTINEL to create a new transforming Gridman figure based on the original series!

The Gattai Thunder Gridman is an expert recreation of the triple-mecha combo with Thunder Jet, Twin Driller & God Tank featuring all accessories for the vehicles and Gridman himself.

The GoodSmile Thunder Gridman will be released in two versions-

*Standard Edition costing 29,091 Yen

*Tokusatsu Edition (with special paint details & panel lining) costing 40,909 Yen.

Both versions of Thunder Gridman are currently scheduled for release in August 2021.

Gonna TIGA! Take me, take me higher!

Thanks to the latest round of magazine images we can see that Bandai Tamashii Nations have something very special in store for Ultraman Tiga’s 25th anniversary. Whilst many assumed his revealed-long-ago S.H. Figuarts figure would finally be released to celebrate occasion, these new images in fact reveal that Tiga will be the first Ultraman to join the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou range!

Sporting the Shinkocchou Seihou “true bone carving” sculpting method, Ultraman Tiga will be released for the price of 6600 yen (exact release date still unclear). Along with a selection of alternate hands, it will also include his Spacium Beam effect.

As a part of their online event, Mezco Toyzfair 2021, Mezco has just unveiled what is sure to be an incredibly popular release from their One:12 Collective action figure line. Introducing the Mighty Morphin Green Power Ranger!

Revealed via Mezco’s Instagram and Twitter, the One:12 Collective Green Ranger looks like an absolutely stunning figure and appears to include at least both his Dragon Dagger and the Sword of Darkness. Given that this line is known for its wonderful accessories as well, we’re bound to see even more come with this figure. Currently there are no specific release details or pricing information available in regards to the One:12 Collective Green Ranger but we’ll be sure to update the community when we know more!

If you’re a fan of new tokusatsu-inspired properties then 2021 is shaping up to be a banner year for you.  First, we had Radiant Black launch earlier this month and inside we got our first look at another new property coming – Inferno Girl Red!

This project will be tied to a Kickstarter that launches in March.  We don’t know much more about the property aside from a character sheet of our main character – Cássia Costa.  More details will be announced when the Kickstarter goes live and from our first look at things – we’re 100% on board!

Inferno Girl Red is brought to you by writer Mat Groom (Self/Made, Rise of Ultraman, and the Ranger Danger podcast), artist Erica D’urso (Prison Witch, Xena Warrior Princess, Marvel Comics), colors by Rico Renzi (Gwenom vs Carnage, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Quicksilver, Spider-Gwen), letters by Becca Carey (Radiant Black).  The book will be edited by Kyle Higgins (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, The Rise of Ultraman, Radiant Black, Winter Soldier, Nightwing, Batman Beyond).

The Ultraman Z range of S.H. Figuarts continues with Ultraman Geed Galaxy Rising! The new Z-Riser powered form of Belial’s son will release as a Tamashii web exclusive in July 2021 for the price of 7480 yen. Not only will it include a number of alternate hands, but it will also include the Z Lance Arrow to be used with Z himself!

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Bandai’s Candy Toy Blog has released an official teaser image of the long awaited Gao King Super Minipla! For the time being all we have is this silhouette of Gao King as well as the silhouettes of the 6 Shodo Super Gaorangers in the background.

However, this teaser also promises more information to come next month, on March 5th & 6th. Today, February 18th in Japan, officially marked the 20th anniversary of Gaoranger in Japan, and in honor of that Toei will be livestreaming an event via youtube with the official reveals of both the Shodo Super Gaorangers & Super Minipla Gao King.
