The official Power Rangers Movie Instagram has once again dropped a new reveal for the 2017 Power Rangers Movie! The fourth ranger of the team has arrived in this lasted tease as RJ Cyler has been cast as the Blue Ranger!

As with the other actors cast so far for the film RJ Cyler has a relatively short list of acting credits but has experience. With 4 out of 5 rangers cast for the film, what are your thoughts so far on how the 2017 Power Rangers Movie is shaping up? The official Power Rangers Movie Instagram is at it again! The third reveal for Saban & Lionsgates’ upcoming 2017 Power Rangers Movie is here & Ludi Lin has been cast as the Black Ranger!

A quick look at Ludi Lin’s previous acting credits shows him to be a relative new comer with a host of minor roles in hte last few years. It’s the week of movie news! After a big reveal of another major franchise’s trailer for their new movie (something about space and swords), Lionsgate and Saban Brands have announced through the official @PowerRangersMovie Instagram account that they have cast another actor – this time for the Red Ranger – and it is a young man by the name of Dacre Montgomery.

A quick peak at his acting resume shows that this will be his first major role. Lionsgate has stated the desire to cast mostly unknowns for the leading roles in this movie. Stay tuned for more movie news as it comes down the pipe!

Teased and revealed on the official Power Rangers Movie Instagram is the identity of the actress who will be portraying the Pink Ranger in Saban & Lionsgate’s 2017 Power Rangers Movie!

Without further adieu Naomi Scott has been revealed to play the Pink Ranger! Her most recent acting credit is for a role in the Matt Damon film The Martian. Though she’s been active since 2009 in television, and arguably is best known for her role in the TV Series Terra Nova.

Here we go! Today the casting sides for the upcoming Power Rangers 2017 Movie were released online. What is a casting side you ask? Well, it’s basically a bunch of lines for actors to read off or to get in to character while auditioning for the role of the character they’re trying out for. Casting sides are not always a guarantee – the casting sides for Power Rangers Megaforce were different than what we ended up with.

Now obviously – there’s potential major spoilers. Below is a screen shot of the casting side with the details blurred out. These casting sides potentially give us the first details on the story (how similar is it to the “leaked” story from a month or so ago?), as well as more details on some of the character bios that were leaked not too long ago (Kimberly being absent from school for six months is explained, as well as part of Billy’s reasoning for being such an introvert). Following all the big news last week – what with the reveal of the concept images from the upcoming Power Rangers 2017 Movie and the revelation that PaperCutZ no longer holds the rights to publish any Power Rangers comics, there was a lot of discussion all over the Internet about both topics.
