TK-05 Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic Gallery & Review – Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on December 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Drive! Type Technic!

TokuNation has filled up with some high octane Kamen Rider Drive action for your viewing pleasure! Today we’re taking a looking at the 5th entry in the Tire Koukan toy line, the master of machines himself, TK-05 Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic!

Type Technic is a unique form. Rather than offering raw power to Drive it gives him highly technical skills like machine manipulation, increased dexterity, and near perfect accuracy. What the Tire Koukan figure of Technic gives us is another incredible addition to this growing line. Included with Technic are the standard Type Technic Tire you need to complete his basic look, the Fire Braver Tire, and Drive’s Door Gun! As far as complete packages go, Type Technic is yet another one in this line. This figure differs just a bit from previous Tire Koukan releases and we welcome you to read our review to find out how.

Or why not take a few minutes to check out a video review of TK-05 by my frequent collaborator Baltmatrix!

Check out the above video as well as 65 images of this great figure after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. And don’t forget to leave a comment in that thread as well, it’ll enter you into our massive Toku Toy Box Giveaway! Specifically this gallery thread enters you in for a chance to win our Top Gear Rider Legends Prize Pack! If you need a refresher on the rules and prize packs then check them out here, and good luck!

Kamen Rider Drive Tire Koukan TK-04 Tire Set 2 Gallery – Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on December 12, 2014 at 1:05 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Tire Koukan!

Ready to start your engine? TokuNation has that covered for you! We’re back with another look at Kamen Rider Drive! And this time we’re spotlighting the Tire Koukan TK-04 Tire Set 2 with a gallery!

Tire Set 2, much like Tire Set 1, is an accessory set of sorts for your other Tire Koukan figures. And just like the first set, this one includes three brand new tires! Spin Mixer being the most plain of the 3 doesn’t come with any accessories, nor should it. Much like Funky Spike it’s just a generic extra tire for the gimmick. However Mad Doctor includes the Cure Quicker defibrillator  device and looks pretty sharp on Drive Type Speed or Wild. But the real winner of this set is the 3rd and most awesome tire, Dream Vegas! Get ready to recreate scenes of an abnormally stretched out Kamen Rider with this one or recreate some classic fights with the included Drum Shields!

In any case we’ve attached a selection of images to this news post, but we’ve also assembled a full 40 image gallery after the jump for your viewing pleasure. But also don’t forget that this gallery qualifies you for our Toku Toy Box giveaway! Simply leave a comment in the discussion thread attached to this post and your name will be entered into the drawing for the Top Gear Rider Legends Prize Pack! Full official rules & details of Toku Toy Box posted here. Good luck!

Power Rangers Dino Charge Dino Cycle & Blue Ranger Gallery – Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on December 10, 2014 at 2:05 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Dino Cycle Charger! Engage! Energize!

TokuNation is ready to present the final of a trio of Power Rangers Dino Charge galleries. At long last we’re ready to show off the Dino Charge Dino Cycle with Blue Ranger gallery!

Just like the Dino Cycle with Black Ranger this one differs from the initial offering with a new alternate blue and silver paint scheme to really set it apart. Though not a color scheme that appears in the Kyoryuger source footage nor one we’re likely to see in Dino Charge, this Dino Cycle helps add a bit of variety to the line and to your collection. Of course like the previous two Dino Cycles this one can still separate into it’s 2 unique Deinonychus components as well as accommodate 5″ Power Rangers figures. And the Dino Cycle also incorporates the Zord Builder system! Best of all is that if you’ve been after the elusively expensive and rare Deinochaser toy, the Dino Cycle is a great stand-in that even scales well with your S.H. Figuarts Kyoryugers! Though one in these particular colors may not be for every collector.

Check out the full 40 image gallery of the Dino Cycle with Dino Charge Blue Ranger by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. And don’t forget to leave a comment in the thread as well, as this thread is one of our qualifying Toku Toy Box Giveaway galleries! Just leave a post in the thread of your thoughts, good or bad, on this item and your name will be entered into a drawing for 1 of 4 MASSIVE prize packs! Full details and rules for Toku Toy Box posted here. This gallery qualifies you for a chance at 1 of these 2 prizes; our Charged Up Mega Rangers Prize Pack or the All Aboard Sentai Prize Pack!

Ninninger DX Paonmaru & UFOmaru FULL Catalog Reveal!

Posted on December 9, 2014 at 7:45 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Following along from today’s full hi-res reveal of DX Shurikenjin from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, we have an update on the first 2 additional mecha of the series!

The first of two additional releases in the line, subtitled オトモ忍シリーズ or Otomo Shinobi, is DX Paonmaru! Paonmaru is a large green elephant in his individual mode. Much like Shinobimaru and Dragomaru, Paonmaru also has a unique sort of inner robot can take a seat in the throne on Shurikenjin’s chest. Meanwhile the rest of him forms new armor, a Shuriken helmet, & a large sword for the newly dubbed Shurikinjin Paon to wield!

The second release in the Otomo Shinobi line is so far the most unique mecha for Ninninger, DX UFOmaru! As the name implies UFOmaru is indeed a saucer-esque space ship! As with Paonmaru, UFOmaru has a unique individual inner robot mode as well that allows him to sit on Shinobimaru’s throne. Meanwhile the rest of him becomes a new Shuriken helmet and a large 3-barreled cannon! This form is known as Shurikenjin UFO.

Stay tuned as yet more details of the 39th sentai, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, are revealed!

Ninninger DX Shurikenjin FULL Catalog Reveal!

Posted on December 9, 2014 at 11:05 am by Den-O under Super Sentai

After a series of blurry images we finally have an incredible hi-res look at the main mecha of the 39th Super Sentai series Shuriken Sentai Ninninger!

DX Shurikenjin is already shaping up to be one of the most impressive sentai robos in years. As initial information suggested Shurikenjin is made up of 5 individual machines of various types. Shinobimaru (ninja), Dragomaru (dragon), Dumpmaru (dump truck), Wanmaru (dog), & Byunmaru (train).

This new hi-res images not only confirms this information but also how the Shinobi Shuriken swapping gimmick works in regards to Shurikenjin’s helmets and forms, very much reminiscent of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger.

This image also shows the first of Shurikenjin’s many alternate forms, Shurikenjin Drago! In this combination, SHinobimaru & Dragomaru swap places from chest to arm as Dragonmaru takes the throne. His Shuriken then becomes the new head of this dragon-esque form.

S.H.Figuarts Hakaider Gallery – Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on December 7, 2014 at 2:10 am by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News, Kamen Rider

Once again TokuNation has another classic gallery for you! A few weeks ago we posted our S.H. Figuarts Kikaider gallery, and today we’re sharing the follow up to that figure with S.H. Figuarts Hakaider! This cyborg is the product of the evil organization DARK, though he has an incredibly tragic secret and past as well. The arch nemesis of Kikaider, Hakaider appeared very late in the original TV series run but is easily the most memorable villain in the franchise.

Today’s gallery of S.H. Figuarts Hakaider focuses on this excellent figures sculpt as well as the heightened functionality it enjoys compared to Kikaider. Such as the higher accessory count with 3 pairs of hands, a replacement shin, and the trademark Hakaider Shot handgun. But let’s not forget Hakaider’s best gimmick, his removeable brain! Yes you did read that right, get ready to create all kinds of quirky scenarios with this cyborg soldier.

We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but a full 45 image gallery awaits after the jump, just click “Discuss on the TokuNation forums” at the bottom of this post. And definitely be sure to post in this thread. The S.H.Figuarts Hakaider Gallery is one of our eligible Toku Toy Box entry threads! Simply join in the discussion after the jump for  your chance to win one of our 4 massive prize packs! Specifically this gallery will enter you in for our:

Monolithic Monsters Prize Pack
– Ultra-Act Ultraman Jack

– NECA Pacific Rim Striker Eureka

Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Full Catalog Cover Revealed!!

Posted on December 5, 2014 at 7:05 am by Sentai Tamashii under Super Sentai

Finally, out of the shadows we have our first official look at the newest Super Sentai: Shuriken Sentai Ninninger!!  Premiering on February 15th, 2015!

This full scan of the catalogue cover for the 39th Super Sentai seems to confirm the toy release information we discovered yesterday as well. Meaning we’re in for a pretty unique year theme wise. Further this image also makes mention of 1994 & 2002 in references to Kakuranger & Hurricanger respectively. Much like Kyoryuger’s dino team up could we expect something similar for our ninja theme heroes?

Stay tuned to TokuNation.com as we update this developing story!
