S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic Gallery

Posted on September 26, 2015 at 11:57 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

The master of machines has finally been released! A recent Tamashii Web Exclusive, it’s time for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic!

Type Technic is Drive’s 3rd basic form after Speed & Wild. And as the ”master of machines” its probably fitting that Technic is articulated like one. He’s a bit on the stiff side with some very odd choices in design, but still manages to look pretty great. Luckily this is also counterbalanced with the inclusion of some great accessories like the Door Ju as well as hands for Type Speed to hold it, the Fire Braver Tire with Ladder Expander, as well as the Shift Car and belt parts necessary for this tire. Overall this package is still as impressive as previous releases in the Drive line.

We’ve attached a selection of images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic to this post but you can check out a full gallery of over 60 images! That along with an in depth review of pros and cons for this figure can be found by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next up we take a look at S.H. Figuarts Heart Roidmude!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Dead Heat Gallery

Posted on September 22, 2015 at 10:42 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

It’s time to enter the Dead Zone with a brand new Kamen Rider Drive gallery, this time with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Dead Heat!

Drive’s mid-season upgrade, Type Dead Heat is a powerful upgrade on part with Heart’s primary form. Both in show & in figure form this Type is a conglomeration of the Drive & Mach suits. Primarily made up of Mach’s limbs and lower torso, the upper body is all Drive with a brand new head. It was a divisive form when it first appeared in show, but this figure is the sum of parts from two other excellent releases. Though sparsely accessorized (a few sets of hands and the Dead Heat cracked/berserk Tire) if you were lucky enough to obtain it from a certain retail chain in Japan, then the bonus Shift Car Highway Effect Sheet was included!

All in all S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Dead Heat is another excellent addition to this line of figures. We’ve assembled over 50 images of this release and a full review for you to peruse after the jump. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the full gallery thread! Next up will be S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Technic!

Power Rangers Dino Charge 5 Inch Puzzler Gallery

Posted on September 18, 2015 at 10:00 am by Chris under Power Rangers

It’s getting close to the fall and that means new Power Rangers Dino Charge toys are starting to trickle down to even the smaller markets across the country! And in this new wave of 5″ figures are the villains – figures that fans have been asking Bandai America to release for many years now. And our first look at the new wave of villains is none other than the Puzzler!

This figure is rather limited in its articulation and posability, so there’s only 13 pictures to take a peak at – but we look in depth at the detailing on this incredibly sculpted figure. To check out the full gallery and to read the review, simply click here! Please share your thoughts on this figure with the rest of us! Have you picked it up? Do you plan to? Sound off in the discussion!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Wild Gallery

Posted on September 15, 2015 at 10:25 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

It’s time to get Wild!

Yet another recent release joins the Kamen Rider Drive line up of S.H. Figuarts. And this time it’s Drive’s first upgrade form, obtained with a fired up desire for justice, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Wild!

Drive Type Wild is bulky and boxy beast of a form for Kamen Rider Drive. This slick police themed form is one of my personal favorites from this series and in figure form it does not fail to impress either. Drive Type Wild comes with a smorgasbord of accessories, much like Kamen Rider mach; The Rumble Dump Tire & Shift Cars with Driver readout as well as the Rumble Smasher weapon, and several sets of hands including one pair for Drive Type speed to use with the also included Handle Ken! Not only is Drive Type Wild another gorgeous addition to the line, but it comes with everything you need to get your money’s worth out of it AND make Drive Type Speed just a little bit sweeter!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Wild is another winner in my book, but don’t just take my word for it, take a look in the full thread to make your own mind up. We’ve attached a selection of images to this post but feel free to browse the complete 70+ image gallery with review by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.

Ninninger Otomonin DX Lion Ha Oh Gallery

Posted on September 4, 2015 at 12:57 pm by Den-O under Super Sentai

Lion Henge!

We’re back with yet another fired up gallery & review from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger! This time we take a look at the massive Sky Otomonin himself, DX Lion Ha Oh!

Unusually for a toy of it’s nature, Lion Ha Oh is not the final toy to be released in this line as we still have the 6-piece Gekiatsu Dai Oh coming up. However Lion Ha Oh still falls into the category of the big but largely hollow Q3/Q4 releases with multiple forms:

  • Lion Ha Ojo– the rolling castle/tank
  • Lion Ha Oh– the unique robot mode form
  • Ha Oh Shurkenjin– A massive combination that incorporates all the primary components of DX Shurikenjin & Bison King

Included for use with any of these 3 forms is also a fun little Chouzetsu Akaninger figure that’s roughly the size of a Bandai America Ranger Key. We’ve got some comparisons with other similarly sized figures as well. Lion Ha Oh itself is larger though, so large that size comparisons really don’t do it justice. Scroll through our gallery to check out how it dwarfs and absorbs DX Shurikenjin.

Ultimately DX Lion Ha Oh will be the make or break figure in the line for many collectors simply due to it’s shear size & cost, but we welcome you to check out our complete 60+ image gallery to make that decision for yourself! Wasshoi!
