Happy Ultraman Day indeed! As revealed exclusively by SciFi Japan, Mill Creek Entertainment (in conjunction with Indigo Entertainment) has just struck a tremendous deal with Tsuburaya Productions. Mill Creek has just acquired the *entire* Ultraman library of series and films ranging from 1966’s Ultra Q all the way through to today for both physical home media & digital releases!

This announcement means that nearly every single production released as a part of the Ultra Series in the last 50+ years (over 1100 episodes and 20 movies) has the potential for both physical Blu-Ray releases as well as digital streaming options. To kick off this acquisition, Mill Creek has also officially revealed it’s first two home media releases, Ultra Q and Ultraman!

Both Ultra Q & Ultraman will be released in Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray series sets on October 15th for $49.98 each. Standard Packaging releases of each series will be made available on the same day for $39.98 as well. Each set will also include Digital redemption codes through Mill Creek’s Moviespree streaming service! Both series have been remastered in high definition with DTS-HD Masters of the original Japanese audio, with a fresh set of English subtitles. You can pre-order each set at the following links.:

This is a pretty huge announcement on a day that was already a true celebration of the franchise itself. The door is now wide open for the heroes that came after the original Ultraman to finally be available to English speaking audiences on Blu-Ray & digital streaming widely. Toei has announced a special presentation honoring the 20th anniversary of the Super Sentai series KyuKyu Sentai GoGo V!

Titled Gathering The Tatsumi Siblings this live event will see all five members of GoGo V reunite for a talk-show discussing their adventures-

*Ryuichiro Nishioka as Go Red.
*Masashi Taniguchi as Go Blue.
*Atsushi Harada as Go Green.
*Kenji Shibata as Go Yellow.
*Kayoko Shibata as Go Pink.

The Gathering is officially scheduled for September 1 2019! This special will also receive a DVD release in late 2019 for those unable to attend.

Toei has released a new full-length trailer for the upcoming V-CINEMA Project Kamen Rider Build NEW WORLD- Kamen Rider Grease!

Starring fan-favorite Kohei Takeda, this film is set in the alternate universe created at the end of Kamen Rider Build. A mysterious terrorist group known as DOWNFALL threatens the security of the new world, and only Kamen Rider Grease is strong enough to fight back.

This trailer also features our first look at Grease’s new form in action- Kamen Rider Grease Perfect is activated with the Perfect Kingdom device and channels the powers of the Hokuto Three Crows for one last battle.

New World: Kamen Rider Grease is currently scheduled for theatrical release on September 6 2019 with a DVD & Blu-Ray release set for November 27 2019!

Once again the world of Kamen Rider Build offers us a surprise!

Fan-favorite supporting hero Kamen Rider Grease will be starring in a New World V-Cinema set after the events of the series, and with a new adventure comes new Rider powers! Thanks to the Grease Perfect Kingdom adapter- used with the Robot FullBottle in the BuildDriver rather than Greases’ traditional SclashDriver– the powers of Kamen Rider Grease Perfect are activated!

This new form is said to contain the powers of Grease’s subordinates, the Hokuto Three Crows. Perfects’ exact combat abilities remain unknown at time of writing.

Kamen Rider Grease: New World is currently scheduled for release in Autumn 2019! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting project!

The team at MMPR Toys has once again brought fourth a shocking reveal for future Super Sentai DVD releases!

It appears the next Super Sentai project to be released from SHOUT! factory will be 1990’s Chikyu Sentai Fiveman! This marks the SECOND Super Sentai team that predates American adaptations, and hopefully it will not be the last!

Unfortunately, no price or release date has been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for all Super Sentai Shout! Factory reveals!

LupinRanger VS PatRanger VS KyuRanger is currently scheduled for DVD & Blu-Ray release on August 21 2019.

It’s hard to believe that Max Factory is now coming out with five Figmas from Studio Trigger’s SSSS.Gridman anime. The latest one is to join the list is the Initial Fighter recolor of the upcoming Figma SSSS.Gridman.

A Twitter post from the official SSSS.Gridman Twitter account reveals that this figure will come exclusively bundled with the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the anime so while a price point and release date have yet to be announced, we’re not expecting this to be cheap.
