New Power Rangers Legacy 5″ Figures in Toys’R’Us Computers

Posted on March 7, 2014 at 3:18 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

The toy-hound himself, raz, is at it once again – digging through Toys’R’Us computers looking for all the latest information!  This time, he managed to find some new listings for the 5″ Legacy Power Rangers figures!  Check out this list below!

  • 96971 Armored MMPR Red
  • 96972 MMPR Black
  • 96973 MMPR Blue
  • 96974 MMPR Yellow
  • 96975 MMPR Pink
  • 96976 MMPR Green
  • 96977 MMPR White
  • 96978 Lord Zedd

It’s important to note that often times items will change, be cancelled, or simply never see release, even if they’re found in a computer system.  So while we cannot confirm that these items are 100% happening, it’s nice to know that there is some more stuff planned for the anniversary of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  As always, be sure to follow raz‘s blog, Razzle’s Dazzles to keep up on all Power Rangers Super Megaforce and Power Rangers Legacy Collection detailed news, information, and research.  As always, we’ll share anything news worthy on our front page here!  Are you excited for these figures?  Let us know!

The much-desired Legacy Dragonzord is now available for pre-order at online retailer Amazon.com! No release date is mentioned but previous solicitations suggest a mid-June release window.

At the time of writing, Legacy Dragonzord is priced at $70.16 USD and qualifies for Free Shipping! A decent price and a much more convenient venue for buyers who don’t have regular access to Toys R Us!

Power Rangers at Toy Fair 2014 Community News Round Up

Posted on February 18, 2014 at 9:15 pm by Chris under Conventions, Power Rangers, Toy Fair

Toy Fair 2014 is winding down to a close. With that, there was a lot of news coming out from not only our coverage of Power Rangers, but also our friends Fury Diamond of SamuraiCast Blog and @trekkieb47 on Twitter. This news post should work as a comprehensive listing of all the news that came out for Power Rangers over the last couple of days. Enjoy!

– TokuNation.com’s Booth Coverage of Bandai of America

TokuNation.com was the first in the WORLD to bring you all the brand new images and news regarding a lot of the new Power Rangers merchandise coming out later this year. Fans salivated at the first images of the all new toy Legacy Titanus, geared towards collectors and, of course, able to combine with the Legacy Megazord and Legacy Dragonzord. We also caught glimpse of, arguably, one of the most anticipated figures out of the Super Megaforce toy line – the Armored Might Silver Ranger figure, which uses the Gold Mode Armor version of the figure. The official name of that mode for Power Rangers has yet to be revealed (though staff here has money on it being called “Super Mega Mode” or “Legendary Mode”). We also saw the upcoming 5″ Legacy Power Rangers figures, including some surprises – Titanium Ranger, Lunar Wolf Ranger, and Gold Zeo Ranger. If you haven’t already, click here and check out all 150+ images that we took of the Bandai booth!

Our good friend Fury Diamond of Samurai Cast Blog was also in attendance and took a video of his booth tour from that day. You’ve seen the pictures, now see what a booth tour is actually like!

– TokuNation.com’s Booth Coverage of Megabloks Power Rangers

Aside from Bandai of America, the other big showing for Power Rangers was Megabloks, showing off their latest and upcoming assortments for their Power Rangers Super Megaforce line. In our gallery we saw on-hand images of the Legendary Megazord, the Q-Rex Megazord, the individual zords that make up the Legendary Megazord (including an impressive looking Sky Ship build), as well as seeing some Legendary Power Rangers make their debut in the Megabloks line. Click here to see our Megabloks Power Rangers gallery!

Once again, our good friend Fury Diamond was also in attendance and took video of his time at Megabloks. If videos are more your thing, you’ll enjoy the video below! Check it out!

Finally, on Monday Bandai of America held a Collector’s Event. While your only way to see the booth prior was through scheduled appointments, the Collector’s Event allowed larger groups of individuals to take the same tour in a group, getting their chance to see first-hand the same images that we’ve shown you earlier in the news post. Our good friend and host of the Power Rangers podcast RangerCommandPH, Eric, @RangerCommandPH on Twitter, took video of his experience. Check it out below!

Last but not least, the company Loyal Subjects has some Mighty Morphin Power Rangers themed items coming out soon. Check out the previews of their upcoming items by clicking here to see our gallery!

And as for the text-based side of the news, our own Sentai Tamashii learned a few tidbits about this year’s Power Rangers selection as well as the future of things like Legacy Items, Tokumei Sentai GoBusters, and Fury Diamond was able to get some detailed answers as well! They are listed below for you!

– Legacy items will continue in 2015 and be brand new items
– Legacy Titanus will retail for $200 (confirmed by Fury Diamond, reported long ago by raz)
– Tokumei Sentai GoBusters was skipped in favor of adapting Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger due to an overall lack of profitability of the GoBusters line in Japan
– There are only 60 Ranger Keys planned for retail release in Power Rangers Super Megaforce (Fury Diamond)
– Additional Ranger Keys can and most likely will be offered through future conventions (San Diego Comic Con, Power Morphicon)

That should just about do it! We need to give out some very special thanks to individuals who gave up a lot of free time to attend Toy Fair 2014 and provide you with all the news and information above. For starters, special thanks as always to our network administrators Tony_Bacala and Joe Moore, and HissTank.com administrator DESTRO. A special shout out to our very own Sentai Tamashii for giving up some family time to head to the show to help cover for not only us, but our sister site ToyArk.com as well. We’d also like to thank Fury Diamond of Samurai Cast Blog as well as Eric of the @RangerCommandPH podcast for the hard work and money they spent to be able to cover the show.

So are you ready for some new Power Rangers? Join our discussion already well-in-progress!

Bandai UK Showcases Legacy Dragon Dagger Features!

Posted on January 20, 2014 at 5:16 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

After posting official images last week, Bandai UK has uploaded a video to it’s youtube account showcasing the features of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger!

According to the video’s description:

Coming to the UK 2014 The Legacy Dragon Dagger includes 3 battle sound effects activate by pressing the keys. Activate 2 further zord summon sounds and the theme song when the mouth piece is pressed changing the keys functions.

The nice thing about the theme music played on this piece versus the Legacy Morpher? It actually has the lyrics “Go Go Power Rangers”!!

Toys’R’Us Exclusive Legacy Dragon Dagger Packaging Images

Posted on January 17, 2014 at 11:41 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to the Bandai UK Facebook page, we have the first packaging images of the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Dragon Dagger exclusive from Toys’R’Us! With the UK Toy Fair coming at us at the end of the month, Bandai UK has been teasing everyone with Power Rangers images, and this set here is the first “first-look” we’ve been given.

For those out of the loop – the Dragon Dagger was the weapon of the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, who used it to summon the mighty Dragonzord! This is the year of the Green Ranger, as the Legacy Morpher Green & White Ranger Edition exclusive has just been released, with the Dragon Dagger and Dragonzord following in the next couple of months.

Did you pre-order the Legacy Dragon Dagger? The item is schedule to release in February 2014 at Toys’R’Us. There was a pre-order for it at the Toys’R’Us website, but a matter of days after the pre-orders went up they were taken offline and have yet to return. Discuss the packaging with us and if you’re excited for this awesome toy!

Thanks to TokuNation.com member BigRich71, we can confirm that the Toys’R’Us Exclusive Power Rangers Legacy Gold Morpher has begun to hit the sales floors at some Toys’R’Us stores! Toys’R’Us Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green and White Ranger Legacy Morpher Releasing Soon

Posted on January 9, 2014 at 12:40 am by Chris under Power Rangers

Thanks to our good friend raz and his Tumblr blog, we were pointed in the direction of an interesting eBay auction where the upcoming Green & White Ranger Legacy Morpher item, exclusive to Toys’R’Us, are in hand and ready to ship.

According to this auction, an accidental shipping error landed the seller with a case of 4 of the highly sought after Legacy Morphers. If you remember, a 24K Gold Plated version was available at the previous San Diego Comic Con as an exclusive, and after-market prices soared in to the range of a thousand dollars or more for the item. The item is still available for pre-order on ToysRUs.com for $59.99. There is now an estimated ship date of January 28th, 2014. The difference between the SDCC exclusive and this Toys’R’Us exclusive is the lack of the 24K plated gold, as well as the finish on the coins (no longer gold, but a ‘worn’ look similar to the other Legacy Morpher). raz promises updates on the different store’s stock/expected stock tomorrow.

Are you excited to get your hands on this item? Did you pre-order from Toys’R’Us, or were you planning to find one in stores? Let us know! And stay tuned for an upcoming gallery of the SDCC and Toys’R’Us items compared to each other!
