Bluefin Reveals S.H.Figuarts Helmetless MMPR White Ranger

Posted on June 6, 2018 at 4:27 pm by Kiryu under Power Rangers

IT’S MORPHIN TIME!

If you’ve been keeping up with our SDCC coverage than you may know that Tamashii Nations plans on releasing Helmetless versions of the S.H.Figuarts MMPR Red and Green Ranger exclusives.

In a surprise reveal, BlueFin Brands announced that their face scanning technology will be put to use on another release of the S.H.Figuarts MMPR White Ranger, the announcement came from BlueFin Brand’s official website.

The S.H.Figuarts Helmetless MMPR White Ranger doesn’t appear to be among the exclusives for SDCC. His official product page lists him for $65.00 USD with a release date slated for November. This is the perfect opportunity if you were one of the many that missed out on this figure the first time around.

S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell Gallery

Posted on June 3, 2018 at 5:07 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Long live Shocker!”

After the defeat of the great Doctor Shinigami, the Shocker Army needed a new general to command it’s forces in Japan. To destroy the Kamen Riders, a member of their American west coast organization was recruited. The deadly and dangerous, Ambassador Hell! Capable of assuming a Kaijin form as Gargaranda, the Ambassador is a force of pure evil in his humanoid form as well. Utilizing his trademark whip to bind his enemies and rally his forces, S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell is here to build a new Shocker Army all his own!

Ambassador Hell joins the line at a time when the original Showa Kamen Rider series is getting more releases than it ever has. Expanding to villains has been something that S.H. Figuarts has always struggled with thanks to lower than average sales numbers. But the iconic greats like this can go a long way to reviving them in toy form. Joining the ranks of the various Shocker Combatmen on or coming to market this year, Ambassador Hell is a wonderfully interesting figure, though with a few faults. He’s sure to menace your Seihou Rider 1 & Rider 2 quite well though.

We’ve attached the full 50+ image gallery to this post, but you can also read our full review of S.H. Figuarts Ambassador Hell after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll see you soon again for another action packed gallery!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Great Cross-Z Official Images

Posted on May 30, 2018 at 2:39 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Well, it’s been quite the week for Banjou hasn’t it? Revealed via magazine scans and episode preview just last week, then making it’s debut in this past Saturday’s episode, then having images of a figuart prototype shown off, Cross-Z’s new base form has had a QUICK turnaround.

Now, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Great Cross-Z has been confirmed for release! Thanks as always to @_Erasu for digging these images up from the depths of the Tamashii Nations site. These official images, the banner in particular, now confirm that the Cross-Z repaint will indeed see release. The logo emblazoned on the banner also confirms that it will be a Tamashii Web Exclusive. While we don’t have an exact release window or price yet, the listing itself should be live relatively soon. When that happens, we’ll be sure to let you know!

S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Fang Joker Gallery

Posted on May 24, 2018 at 3:55 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Fang! Joker!”

The incident known as Begins Night heralded the birth of Kamen Rider W’s first and most ferocious form. One so powerful that, for a time, Phillip & Shotaro purposefully avoided using it or they’d risk losing control entirely. Eventually mastered, this form was a force to be reckoned. And now, after nearly a decade stuck with the original figuarts release, Bandai has recreated this powerhouse form in S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Fang Joker!

Fang Joker is yet another excellent release for the Kamen Rider W line. Another reuse of the excellent Seihou body type first introduced with W Cyclone Joker, Fang Joker is also another brilliant addition to your collection. Adding a little more ferocity to the base W body, Fang Joker also includes a plethora of hands as well as all 3 versions of the Saber he’s equipped with (Arm, Shoulder, & Maximum). If you’ve had any experience with Seihou releases for this series already, you know you’re in for a treat with this one.

We’ve attached the full 60 image gallery to this post, but you can also read our full review of S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Fang Joker! by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll see you again soon with another brand new gallery!

S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X Official Photos Revealed

Posted on May 23, 2018 at 12:19 pm by Kiryu under Ultraman

“X, united!”

Seen only yesterday for the first time, Tamashii Nations has today released a full set of official images for S.H. Figuarts Ultraman X!

X has been a long demanded figure by fans, and it looks like Tamashii is pulling out all the stops to please them. A strikingly good likeness to the show suit, Ultraman X goes the extra mile by including actual usable Cyber Gomora Armor! This marks to return of full form changing gimmicks to the S.H. FIguarts line after a long hiatus and is indeed welcome to see.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman X will be a retail release in October 2018 and retails for 7560 yen.

First Look At S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X And Release Info

Posted on May 22, 2018 at 11:59 am by Kiryu under Ultraman

Bandai teased that an S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X was finally coming our way. Not long after that teaser, we finally have our first look at this figure in the recent batch of magazine scans that are making the rounds online.

S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X is set to be released in October 2018 with a price tag of 7,560 yen. For those of you whom may be unfamiliar with the character: Ultraman X has the power to create weapons and armor based on monsters or past Ultramen, and it looks as though this gimmick will be well represented in the figure itself! S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X will include parts that will allow you to swap off into his Cyber Gomora armor form.

There doesn’t seem to be a P-Bandai banner on this page, so at the moment it appears that he will be a mass retail release. Only time will tell if Bandai plans on releasing the other armor forms in the future and in what capacity.
