This one is a little bit out of left field! For those who follow various or not-so-known tokusatsu series, the Armor Hero line from China is their own version of Super Sentai and/or Kamen Rider. Recently, the toys have picked up some popularity here in the United States with tokusatsu collectors, with the recent mech being considered a vast improvement from the last few years.
Today, during the Hasbro Investor’s Conference Call, Hasbro revealed that they have partnered with China to develop their line of building toys, known as KRE-O, for the Armor Hero series in China. These toys will be exclusive to China.
While this may not seem like huge news, in a way it is – Hasbro now has its hat in the ring with a tokusatsu series that rivals Bandai and TOEI. With a global partnership like this being created, one has to wonder … if the Power Rangers 2017 Movie is successful, does this partnership leave a door cracked open for potential Armor Hero showing in the United States?

Great news for fans of Power Rangers Dino Charge!
This season has finally been added to Netflix for United States, United Kingdom AND Australian viewers!
At the time of writing, only the first nine episodes (Powers from the Past through When Logic Fails) are available. With any luck, the rest will be added once the season has finished next month.
A fantastic opportunity for fans who want to catch up on this excellent Power Rangers show!
Once again Bandai America is revisiting the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie with 3 new Legacy Morphers! Following up from the previously released Movie White Ranger Morpher we’re being treated to the Red, Blue, & Pink Movie Morphers as well!

Surprising literally everyone in attendance at this this years American Film Market in Santa Monica CA, Toho has just revealed a Promo Reel for the upcoming 29th Godzilla film, Shin Godzilla! August Ragone’s The Good, The Bad, & The Godzilla blog just broke this news so it’s still currently a developing story.
What we know so far is that no one in attendance was given forewarning that this would happen. Toho has also confirmed the official title of this film for Western/English speaking markets; Godzilla Resurgence! As more information beomes avaialble we will update this story. For now we’ve attached an AFM Booklet from the screening that comes courtesy of Glenn Abbott.
It’s time for another blast of rumors coming in for the next Super Sentai series titled Doubutsu Sentai Jyuuouger! As always, take everything with a grain of salt for now. With information coming in from dukemon22 at Rangerboard.com, we’re getting a more clear picture on just what exactly may be coming down the pipe from this new series.
For starters – we already know based on the name of the series that there will be some sort of animal motif that’s played upon whether it be the suits or the mecha. But now things are tightening up a bit in terms of what we might exactly see. Current whispers show that we may end up with a core team of three – a Red Ranger bird of prey theme, a Blue Ranger shark theme, and a Yellow Ranger leopard theme who is also female. Two more Rangers will join up a little in to the series, a man and woman combo.
Lastly, the mech. Current rumor has it having a lion form, while the wings of the bird of pray mecha would wrap around the head of the leopard to create the “lion” visual. No matter what ends up coming out, this sounds pretty cool and is worth discussing!
We’ve also included an image that’s circulating Twitter right now. Many believe this could actually be ToQ-1, but others have stated that you can clearly see black cuffs around the arm and the boot, which ToQ-1 does not have. Is this our first look at Jyuuouger? Following up from the reveal of Chou Mashin Chaser, Bandai has released an official PV promoting the DX Break Gunner (Drive Saga Version) & Rhino Super Viral Core! This new version of the Break Gunner is a slight repaint/retool of the original DX mold which allows it to accept the Rhino Super Viral Core. It also features several new sound clips from the Kamen Rider Chaser V-Cinema.
Kamen Rider Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Chaser will be released in April on DVD & Blu-Ray alongside the above Premium Bandai set. The DX Break Gunner & Rhino Super Viral Core retails for 10,800 yen.
