This is a developing story so please hang on for more clarification as it becomes available. According to the official @PowerRangers twitter account, the names for the characters in the Power Rangers 2017 Movie are confirmed to be the original names. That’s right – Jason, Zack, Billy, Kimberly, and Trini are officially the names of your big screen spandex heroes.

This pretty much puts to rest all the news that the Entertainment website Collider had been releasing (the movie being set in-continuity and entirely new names created) as being false.

Quick as lightning, strong as steel, watch out danger he’s for real, you know when lightning strikes it’s Gold Ranger!

I decided to finally crack open my personal collection of Gold Ranger figures to do a gallery and review for the 5″ Zeo Gold Ranger figure from the end of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5″ figure series. Short-packed (one per case) and part of the final wave, this figure wasn’t necessarily found by many people in many of the big stores (I personally found my figure in a Walgreens).

The figure is an excellent addition to any fan’s collection and especially for fans of the original Gold Ranger. The articulation is on par with Ranger figures from the 5″ line from Bandai America and probably due to my personal love for the character cause it to be even more so amazing to photograph. It’s the week of movie news! After a big reveal of another major franchise’s trailer for their new movie (something about space and swords), Lionsgate and Saban Brands have announced through the official @PowerRangersMovie Instagram account that they have cast another actor – this time for the Red Ranger – and it is a young man by the name of Dacre Montgomery.

A quick peak at his acting resume shows that this will be his first major role. Lionsgate has stated the desire to cast mostly unknowns for the leading roles in this movie. Stay tuned for more movie news as it comes down the pipe!

This robotic henchman may look to have more brain than brawn but don’t let his whiny attitude fool you – Wrench packs quite a punch with his hand-ax weapon!

In what seems to be a continuing trend, an upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge item unseen till now has been found! With special thanks to tavionjackson from our friends over at Rangerboard.com, this special pack looks to be exclusive to Toys’R’Us and will feature 27 of the current Dino Chargers but in their metallic foil inserts as opposed to the non-foil that have been out and circulating for nearly a year.
