Power Rangers Dino Charge Armored Might Red Ranger First Look

Posted on November 1, 2014 at 1:16 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

It is now November and that means that Power Rangers Dino Charge figures will be hitting Toys’R’Us shelves later this month, confirmed to us at NYCC 2014 by Bandai of America. With a full blown release maybe a month and a half away from all stores, the first images of figures are beginning to pilfer out.

Our good buddy raz managed to locate the first image of the Armored Might Red Ranger from the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge toy line. He found it via the Target system. You can check out the finding by clicking here.

Be sure to follow @razzle1337 on Twitter and check out his blog Razzle’s Dazzles to keep up with the rest of the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge toy news and toy hunting.

What do you think? Do you plan to pick up the Armored Might Red Dino Charge Ranger? Sound off in the discussion thread!

Posted on October 31, 2014 at 11:26 am by Chris under Kamen Rider

Tamashii Nations Event Exclusive S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Baron Lemon Energy Arms to be Lucky Draw Item After Event

Posted on October 28, 2014 at 1:49 pm by Chris under Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions

Bad news for those of you collecting the S.H. Figuarts line of characters for the popular Kamen Rider Gaim series. Normally, exclusives from these type of events show up as Tamashii Web Exclusives a month or two after said event is over. But it would appear that this time almost all the exclusives from the show will be available only as Lucky Draw items – basically super rare items.

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Baron Lemon Energy Arms figure is one of the said exclusives from this month’s Tamashii Nations Event that will be available only as a Lucky Draw item after the event. This means that unless you have purchased a pre-order from a few hobby shops attending the event, or have someone attending the event, you will be stuck looking on the secondary market for this item. It’s almost a guarantee that Mandarake will have the item pop up from time to time over the next few months, but the availability is not guaranteed in the slightest.

Best of luck to all those looking to complete this line with this new revelation.

NYCC 2014 – Exclusive Bandai Q&A – Dino Charge, Legacy, Ranger Keys

Posted on October 9, 2014 at 2:08 pm by Chris under Conventions, New York Comic Con, Power Rangers

Our coverage from NYCC 2014 isn’t over yet! Our very own Sentai Tamashii spoke with Bandai of America to ask some questions and we got some answers! So let’s not beat around the bush – here they are! Please note that these are not exact quotes, these are paraphrased.

TokuNation: When can we expect to see the first retail release of Power Rangers Dino Charge? The previous two series (Megaforce and Super Megaforce released at Toys’R’Us right after Thanksgiving).
Bandai: First approximate release is going to be around December at Toys’R’Us much like Megaforce and Super Megaforce before it.

TokuNation: When can we expect to see the release of the Legacy Mighty Morphin Movie 5″ Figures?
Bandai: The latter half of 2015.

TokuNation: With Kyoryuger there were some gender swaps throughout the series. Can we expect to see those in the 5″ line for Dino Charge?
Bandai: We cannot disclose the gender of any of the unseen Dino Charge Power Rangers but every Ranger on the show will have a figure released.

TokuNation: What about villains? Can we expect more toys of villains?
Bandai: Yes. There will be more villains released per feedback.

TokuNation: Can we expect to see more homages to previous Power Rangers through the Dino Charge toy line, whether it be in 5″ form or Armored Might?
Bandai: All homages will be specifically through fan support.

TokuNation: There’s a lot of Megazords in Kyoryuger (5 including Topaspino). Will we see them all in the Dino Charge toy line?
Bandai: We don’t want to step on Saban Brands toes by saying anything at this moment. Wait for Saban Brands to answer that question.

TokuNation: When can we expect an announcement on the teased Ranger Keys for the fall?
Bandai: Due to partnerships we cannot disclose any of that at this time.

TokuNation: What is the name of the Dino Charge morpher? And does the mouth open?
Bandai: It is officially called the Deluxe Dino Charge Morpher. The mouth does open and has one battery port inside.

Special thanks to Greg from Bandai of America for taking the time to answer our questions!
