Fans of the Kamen Rider Drive series will tell you that all you need is Drive.  And now you have a chance to grab him in his ultimate form!

Tamashii Nations is re-releasing (based on fan vote in Japan) certain S.H. Figuarts of their various properties.  One such figure that won the vote is the (rather expensive in the after-market) final form of Kamen Rider Drive – Type Tridoron – along with the Kakimazerl Set that adds extra accessories.  Included in this 15h anniversary set is a special stand commemorating the 15th anniversary of the S.H. Figuarts line.

This item is seeing a release in the United States!  Pre-orders open June 23rd.

It was announced today via Eiga.com that the popular Shin Kamen Rider movie – which just saw a limited release in the United States – will see “worldwide distribution” to over 200 countries via Amazon Prime on July 21st.

The full list of countries has yet to be revealed. As more information is shared, we will share it with you.

It wasn’t too long ago that Hot Toys announced that they would be making figures and accessories for Kamen Rider Black Sun, and now Hot Toys Japan has shared the first prototype images for Kamen Rider Black Sun and Shadowmoon.

No release information has been made available yet but the figures look fantastic!

Today, Bandai Namco and Tsuburaya Productions announced that Bandai Namco is the master toy license holder for the Ultraman intellectual property in North America.  The resulting license means Bandai Namco will be releasing a toy line in North America that will include action figures, playsets, role-play items, and plush items.  The deal includes the upcoming Ultraman Netflix movie set to debut in 2024.  Thanks to ToyBook.com for the heads up.

Toy producer Hot Toys – known for their incredibly detailed and realistic 1:6 scale figures from Marvel and DC properties – announced early this morning that later this summer they will be revealing their latest collection – Kamen Rider Black Sun.  Hot Toys promises realistic sculpting and excellent poseability.

The upcoming independent film from the late Jason David Frank – Legend of the White Dragon – will release this September.  Today, at JoeFest, Bobby Vala – the owner of independent toy company Valaverse – announced an upcoming two-pack of Legend of the White Dragon figures featuring the White Dragon as well as the villain Dragon Prime.

Legend of the White Dragon is a partially crowd-funded independent film from Bat in the Sun and Jason David Frank and tells the story of Erik Reed (Jason David Frank).  Before his passing, Jason David Frank consistently referred to this project as his own love-letter to Power Rangers fans who wanted the brand to be more adult.

Valaverse is owned by Bobby Vala, a professional toy designer best known for his time with Hasbro and G.I. Joe.  Valaverse is best known for the current Action Force product line of 1:12 scale military figures.

The highly anticipated Spider-Man 2 – releasing exclusively this October for the Sony PlayStation 5 – revealed their pre-order bonuses today.  The bit for toku fans comes in the pre-order bonus for the Digital Deluxe edition of the game, where you receive five extra suits for both Peter Parker Spider-Man and Miles Morales Spider-Man.

One of the extra suits included for Miles Morales is labeled “Tokusatsu Suit“, and looks inspired by both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.  Check out the attached image for a better look.  Spoiler – it isn’t the Toei Spider-Man suit from the infamous live-action show.  Bummer.

Spider-Man 2 releases exclusively on Sony PlayStation 5 on October 20th, 2023.  Check your favorite online retailers for pre-order details.
