under Power Rangers, San Diego Comic Con

The yearly San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner and the Power Rangers will have representation at the show via licensee Super7!  Revealed via their social media, Super7 has shared their SDCC 2023 exclusives for Power Rangers fans!  They are as follows:

  • ReAction MMPR Set of 5 (based on the original action figure toys)
  • ULTIMATES! Black and Gold Dragonzord
  • Dragonzord T-Shirt
  • White Ranger T-Shirt

These items will be available to purchase at the Super7 booth at SDCC 2023.  Attendees can head to Booth #2543 to pick up their exclusives.

Fans of Kamen Rider rejoice – one of the most popular actors of the brand is heading to Burbank, California this year at the Japan World Heroes convention.  Gaku Sano, who played Kouta aka Kamen Rider Gaim, is the guest of honor at Japan World Heroes.  The convention takes place August 18-20, 2023 at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center.

The US release of the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Pegasus is happening!  If you don’t mind waiting a little bit longer (okay maybe a lot longer) as the figure isn’t scheduled to release in the United States until January 2024 (as opposed to the Japanese release occurring in July 2023).  The figure is listed on the Premium Bandai US shop for $75.

Fans of the Kamen Rider Drive series will tell you that all you need is Drive.  And now you have a chance to grab him in his ultimate form!

Tamashii Nations is re-releasing (based on fan vote in Japan) certain S.H. Figuarts of their various properties.  One such figure that won the vote is the (rather expensive in the after-market) final form of Kamen Rider Drive – Type Tridoron – along with the Kakimazerl Set that adds extra accessories.  Included in this 15h anniversary set is a special stand commemorating the 15th anniversary of the S.H. Figuarts line.

It was announced today via Eiga.com that the popular Shin Kamen Rider movie – which just saw a limited release in the United States – will see “worldwide distribution” to over 200 countries via Amazon Prime on July 21st.

The full list of countries has yet to be revealed. As more information is shared, we will share it with you.

It wasn’t too long ago that Hot Toys announced that they would be making figures and accessories for Kamen Rider Black Sun, and now Hot Toys Japan has shared the first prototype images for Kamen Rider Black Sun and Shadowmoon.

No release information has been made available yet but the figures look fantastic!

Today, Bandai Namco and Tsuburaya Productions announced that Bandai Namco is the master toy license holder for the Ultraman intellectual property in North America.  The resulting license means Bandai Namco will be releasing a toy line in North America that will include action figures, playsets, role-play items, and plush items.  The deal includes the upcoming Ultraman Netflix movie set to debut in 2024.  Thanks to ToyBook.com for the heads up.
