Back in April of 2018 I wrote a news piece stating my decision to step down as acting Editor in Chief of TokuNation.com and pass the reigns on to someone else. The decision that I, as well as our network owner, came to was to place Jordan, aka Den-O, in to the position should he choose to accept it. And accept it he did and thus he and I began a transition period where he would slowly take over more responsibility.

The transition period is now over. Jordan, aka Den-O, is now the acting (and only) Editor in Chief here at TokuNation.com. For 25 years the Power Rangers have been on television, on store shelves, and had its iconic theme song stuck in your head. We’re sure that more than once in the last few years have you heard a communicator “bum bum bum-bummm bum-bummm” play while you’re out and about being an adult. And in that brief moment you harken back to being a kid and racing home to watch Tommy and the other Power Rangers kick Lord Zedd‘s butt. Thus, you probably caught the Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Episode on Nickelodeon the other night – or if you haven’t then you’ve checked out all the various clips around the Internet.

Never fear – we caught the episode, recorded it ourselves, and have re-watched it numerous times. So let’s sit down and have a chat about the episode that attempts to bring back those Saturday morning feels with our comprehensive synopsis and review of Power Ranger Super Ninja Steel “Dimensions in Danger”, the Power Rangers 25th Anniversary episode!

Found by Guadalupe M we have our first look at the evil Red Ranger figure that was previously listed in the Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel 5″ figure line. Every fan assumed it would be the evil Red Ranger version of Super Ninja Steel Red, first seen in the Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel trailer for the last half the season.

But now we know it is actually the evil Mighty Morphin Red Ranger robot clone from the 25th Anniversary episode “Dimensions in Danger” which aired this past Tuesday. We have confirmed the legitimacy of the figure with Jason Bischoff from Hasbro.

Time to dust off that Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel peg at your local stores to find this guy – we assume he will be in VERY high demand! Happy hunting!

August 28th, 2018 is officially Power Rangers Day. Today commemorates the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers. Celebrate with an episode or two of your favorite Power Rangers series and tune in to Nickelodeon tonight at 8pm EST for the primetime special – “Dimensions in Danger” – the legendary reunion episode in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel.

If you’re a follower of our site and social media then this news post will not offer anything new or exciting for you. However, if you’re new to the site or you happened on this page by accident we have some great news to tickle your nostalgia bone – the Power Rangers officially turn 25 years old TOMORROW, August 28th!

Starting at 12:00am on Tuesday morning, it will officially be #PowerRangersDay! Celebrate on social media everything you know and love about Power Rangers with #RangerNation!

The next two days are HUGE for the Power Rangers brand. On Tuesday at 8pm EST, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel will make an incredibly rare primetime airing to showcase an episode that will celebrate 25 years of the Power Rangers television show in “Dimensions in Danger“, featuring the return of Jason David Frank as Tommy the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, as well as other Legendary Rangers, for an epic team-up episode.

On Wednesday, August 29th, arguably the biggest comic book story of the year will finally wrap up with the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Shattered Grid #1. For two years Kyle Higgins has scripted a story that all leads up to this epic conclusion of the Power Rangers’ greatest enemy – Lord Drakkon, the evil alternate reality version of Tommy – with the fate of all of existence at stake! Will the Power Rangers be successful at stopping Lord Drakkon or will evil triumph and destroy reality as we know it?

Join us as we live tweet the 25th Anniversary Special episode on Tuesday, and join us for a spoiler-filled review and celebration of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Shattered Grid #1 issue on Wednesday. Easily the most exciting display of the weekend at this year’s Power Morphicon was the enormous amount of screen used props that Hasbro brought with them to the show. Ranging from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all the way through Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, fans were given a treat seeing these props up close and personal.

So of course we busted out our camera and took as many high resolution pictures as we could! Who knows if or when we will ever see these again? Every single prop that was on display is pictured in this news story. Click the title of the story to see them all!

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers and Hasbro chose to celebrate by bringing 25 different helmets, one for each year of Power Rangers, to their display booth at this year’s Power Morphicon! Those with keen eyes will recognize the display pieces coming from the original offices of Saban Brands which shut down earlier this summer when Hasbro purchased their entire catalogue of intellectual properties.

The biggest and most exciting news prior to this year’s Power Morphicon was the Kickstarter launch for the Renegade Games project Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid. Renegade Games was in full attendance at Power Morphicon pulling in quite a large crowd to demo the game first hand and to check out all the proposed and upcoming game pieces thanks to continued support of the Kickstarter.

The biannual Power Morphicon has come and gone sending many Power Rangers fans home happy and poor. At the convention were our friends from Bluefin Tamashii Nations showcasing their current upcoming product. On display was the Soul of Chogokin Titanus (many claim it is simply a Legacy Titanus), their convention circuit exclusives Soul of Chogokin Black Megazord, Green and Red Ranger S.H. Figuarts with human heads, as well as the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin White Ranger with human head.
