under Power Rangers

The final episode of Power Rangers Dino Supercharge, the Christmas special “Here Comes Heximus”, airs this weekend on Nickelodeon. Many fans speculated exactly where in the Dino Supercharge timeline this would fall seeing as the ending of the main story kind of left things … well, prehistoric. Best rest assured, we see in the following preview clip that this Christmas episode falls AFTER the finale of Dino Supercharge, which ends up leaving a lot more questions on the table as the preview continues.

But hey – check out the preview below and we’ll wait and see what developments come out of everything this weekend with the final episode of Power Rangers Dino Supercharge. NOTE: Story image is from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, and will not be in the actual episode.

In case you didn’t have enough items to collect for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Funko announced yesterday some new collectible items that can line your shelves in all their retro-glory! Announced officially were Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pint Size Heroes – featuring all 7 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Goldar, Rita Repulsa, a Putty, and Alpha 5. These items are blind-bagged. We also got to see some new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers pens – featuring the Red, Black, Blue, and Yellow Rangers.

Also officially shown are the action-poses FunkoPOP! figures of the Mighty Morphin White, Red, and Pink Rangers – with Pink and Red also being metallic with their Ninja Coin emblems. Finally, we have the Funko Dorbz featuring the original five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Rita Repulsa.

More information will be coming soon on these items – including some exclusive variants – so stay tuned. It’s a safe bet to say that a lot of fans are very excited with what they’ve seen so far in the upcoming 41st Super Sentai Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger. And after a week of some details, grainy pictures, blurry pictures, we now finally have new high resolution Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger Scans online!

The images show us everything from our nine Rangers to their individual Voyagers to the DX KyurenOh. We also get a look at the arsenal of the Kyuurangers as well as a detailed list of the upcoming collectible gimmick of the series – the KyuTamas – spheres/balls that contain an image of the constellation they represent.

News has been slow on the Power Rangers Movie front since New York Comic Con (minus that whole Alpha 5 thing). One thing that many fans had been wondering about was whether or not the movie, which continues to deviate from the classic television series in terms of style and look, was going to incorporate the iconic “Go Go Power Rangers” theme song.

With thanks to friend of the site @nightmere10 and her blog The Power Scoop, we are happy to share that indeed the movie does appear to feature an orchestrated version of the classic Go Go Power Rangers theme song. The iconic Philharmonia, out of London, has been recording at Abbey Road Studios for the upcoming movie. Claire Newton, a violinist with the orchestra, put out an image on Instagram showing the classic theme song’s score.

The last time the original theme was orchestrated was for the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, which has been used at special events by Saban Brands in recent years. Are you excited to hear a new, updated version of the original theme song? Sound off in our discussion thread!

Today is the official “launch day” for the Power Rangers Movie toys! And as fans rush out to their local Toys’R’Us stores to grab themselves some new Power Rangers Movie toys, RangerNation.com has shared some of the upcoming toy images.

We get our first look at the 5″ Movie figures. Red Ranger comes with his Power Sword, while Blue, Black, Pink and Yellow come with … blue fire-effect fist weapons. At this time, it’s hard to say whether or not they will have their traditional weapons like the Red Ranger or not, but some fans are expressing disappointment on social media. Also shown is Alpha 5.

We also get our first look at the Movie FX Red Ranger mask, complete with sounds from the Red Ranger in the Power Rangers Movie.

The 41st Super Sentai information dump has begun to appear! Thanks to CraneJoe, who attends the Bandai Japan meetings on an annual basis, has shared the information he has taken. Stay tuned official images should begin to appear within the next week or so! But get ready – here we go! Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger First Details below!

  • Kyuuranger to start with 9 Rangers
  • Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, Green are core
  • Pink, Gold, Silver, and Orange are secondary
  • Constellation based
  • Shishi Red – Lion (forms the core of KyurenOh, the Megazord)
  • SasoriOrange – Scorpion
  • OokamiBlue – Wolf
  • OushiBlack – Ox
  • Green – Chameleon
  • TenbinGold – Libra
  • HebitsukaiSilver – Snake Charmer
  • WashiPink – Eagle
  • KajikiYellow – Swordfish
  • Female Rangers look to be Yellow & Green on core team
  • Mecha are called “Voyagers”
  • KyurenOh formed from Core 5 Voyagers
  • Other constellations will form extra weaponry, etc.
  • The other constellations specifically are Whale, Perseus, Microscope, Andromeda, and a type of hunting dog

There’s been a lot of misinformation the last few days including fake pictures. However, given CraneJoe’s reliability of the years, we’ve chosen to post this information. Not long after the release of the Sentai Artisan Dino Buckler, it has been announced today that the next release shall be none other than the Dragon Buckler! Fans will recognize the Dragon Buckler as being the henshin device of the Dragon Ranger, or the Japanese version of the original Green Ranger! Orders open 12/21/16 but pricing and release date have yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more details!
