Figuarts ZERO Dragon Ranger Revealed

Am0ng their reveals for November Tamashii Webshop exclusives, Bandai have surprisingly announced a Figuarts ZERO version of the ever popular Dragon Ranger from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (or if you’d prefer, the Green Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)!

This non-poseable statue features the character in his Zyusouken playing pose, with Dragon Ranger standing atop a rocky display base. It will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive in November for the price of 4860 yen.

S.H. Figuarts New Cyclone Revealed – Separate & 2-Pack releases

Ahead of their usual announcements for the coming months, Bandai Tamashii Nations have revealed an S.H. Figuarts New Cyclone motorcycle as a mass release for October! Better still is the further reveal that it will be released in two forms – both as a separate release and in a 2-pack with the previously released Kamen Rider 1 (New Version). The single pack release also features alternate colouring from the 2-pack version, offering buyers two alternatives for their classic Kamen Riders!

The 2-pack will retail for 7560 yen, while the bike alone will be 4563 yen. Joining them that month will also be a reissue of Kamen Rider 2 (New Version), retailing for 3024 yen!

So if you’ve been looking to grab these two figures or ready to add a new bike to your S.H. Figuarts collection, don’t miss out!

S.H. Figuarts Akaranger Official Images

After a lengthy stay in Tamashii Nations limbo, the original Super Sentai Red finally joins the S.H. Figuarts line this September!

Himitsu Sentai Goranger’s Akaranger will hit retail for the price of 4860 yen, along with a very fitting selection of accessories! Included his Silver Shot gun, signature Red Bute weapon in staff and whip formations, Birdie belt rockets and bomb ball effect part to recreate the “Goranger Storm” finishing attack.

Bluefin Tamashii Nations have also announced that they will be releasing the figure in the US for the price of $44.99, with further release details to follow.

S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2014) Official Images

The Bandai Tamashii Nations website has uploaded full galleries of its forthcoming September releases, and kicking things off is S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2014), based off of the King of Monsters’ appearance in the brand new Godzilla film from Legendary Pictures.

Stomping in for a price of 7344 yen, according to his official page Godzilla sadly features no additional accessories. While he is scheduled for a September release in Japan, Bluefin Tamashii Nations will likely follow with an October release in the US. We’ll keep you updated when this is confirmed.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Kachidoki Arms Official Images

Hot on the heels of the magazine reveal we reported yesterday, the Bandai Tamashii Nations Kamen Rider Gaim special page has updated with official images of the forthcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Kachidoki Arms figure!

Packaged with the Musou Saber, Kachidoki Bata and DJ Gun, Kachidoki Arms will be hitting retail in September for the price of 5180 yen. Check out the full set of images after the jump!

Saban partners with Lionsgate for new Power Rangers feature film

Today proves to be a big news day for the Power Rangers franchise as Saban Brands announces partnership with Lionsgate for a Power Rangers live-action feature film.

No specific details of the project  are mentioned in the press release, other than that “the new film franchise will re-envision the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a group of high school kids who are infused with unique and cool super powers but must harness and use those powers as a team if they have any hope of saving the world.”

The release continues to say:

“Lionsgate is the perfect home for elevating our Power Rangers brand to the next level,” said Saban. “They have the vision, marketing prowess and incredible track record in launching breakthrough hits from The Hunger Games to Twilight and Divergent. In partnership with the Lionsgate team, we’re confident that we will capture the world of the Power Rangers and translate it into a unique and memorable motion picture phenomenon with a legacy all its own.”

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Haim Saban and his team to maximize the potential of this immensely successful and universally recognized franchise,” said Feltheimer. “The Power Rangers stories and characters have been embraced by generations of audiences for more than 20 years, and today they are more powerful than ever. We have the ideal partner and the perfect brand with which to create a motion picture event that will resonate with moviegoers around the world for years to come.”

S.H. MonsterArts Effects Set 2 and Super Special Weapons Set 2 Images

Hot on the heels of their first-reveal magazine scans, the final Tamashii web exclusive releases for September are a pair of accessory sets for the S.H. MonsterArts line – one providing some brand new effect parts, and the other adding some brand new special weapons machines to battle the monsters.

First up is Effects Set 2, priced at 2916 yen. Included here two new beam attacks (one with an explosion at the end of it), a heat wave effect for Tamashii stage bases, a cracked ground stand for the effects and finally four scaled buildings.

Meanwhile Super Special Weapons Set 2 includes the Super X3 from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, four Maser Guns, four Maser Beam Tanks, three Maser Attack Aircraft, Tamashii stage and two scaled buildings. This set costs a slightly higher 3240 yen.

Ultra-Act Ultimate Zero Renewal Images

The Ultra-Act line continues its figure renewals with a brand new renewal version of Ultimate Zero, the powered up form that made its debut in Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial! A powered up form granted to Zero by the mysterious Ultraman Noa!

Releasing as a Tamashii web exclusive figure in September, renewal Ultimate Zero comes packaged with a selection of alternate hands, the Ultimate Bracelet, Ultimate Zero sword and the Shield of Baradhi. These weapons can also combine to form the Ultimate Aegis.

Costing 4860 yen, preorders are open now!

The S.H. Figuarts line continues its journey through the Kamen Rider Blade series with Kamen Rider Blade Jack Form!

This winged mid-season power-up for the titular Rider will be released as a Tamashii web exclusive in September, priced 4644 yen. Included will be a selection of alternate hands, the enhanced Blade Rouzer, Rouze cards and (as Google translate puts it) partially-exploded card parts.

S.H. Figuarts Android Kikaider Official Images

Arriving a few months after the Kikaider REBOOT movie hits Japanese cinemas, the original Android Kikaider joins the S.H. Figuarts line!

Based on the design from the Shotaro Ishinomori‘s original 1972 series, Kikaider is fairly light on the accessories – apparently only coming with a selection of alternate hands.

He can be yours this September, released as a Tamashii web exclusive priced 4860 yen.
