Now that the Ultraman manga is in full swing on both sides of the pond it’s no surprise that the series is proving popular with figure manufacturers. At this year’s Summer Wonderfest a number of different companies had figures on display, including Sentinel, ThreeZero and of course Bandai Tamashii Nations.

Among the figures seen at the event were:

  • A ThreeZero Ultraman prototype, with masked and unmasked head options
  • Sentinel’s 12′ HERO’s Meister Ultraman (Previously released)
  • 12′ HERO’s Meister Ultraman Special Ver., with a metallic finish and unmasked head
  • Ultra-Act x S.H. Figuarts Ultraman (Previously released)
  • Ultra-Act x S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Special Ver. (Previously released)
  • Ultra-Act x S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Suit Ver. 7.2
  • Ultra-Act x S.H. Figuarts Ace Suit

under Conventions, Kamen Rider

The S.H. Figuarts version of Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha will be going up for preorder very soon, but for those who want something a little more high end for the Kamen Rider Amazons star Medicom have you covered. Revealed at this year’s Summer Wondefest, the Medicom Real Action Heroes Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha looks to be every bit as detailed as previous entries in the line.

Pricing and release date are yet to be revealed, so stay tuned to Tokunation as more information is announced!

Summer Wonderfest has just taken place in Japan and among the many new figures, statues and replicas revealed at the event are coloured versions of the Plamax Gipsy Danger and Cherno Alpha model kits from Max Factory!

Uncoloured prototypes have been seen at previous Wonderfests, but this is the first time these Pacific Rim Jaegers have been seen in colour and with more concrete release info. These 1/350 scale model kits do not currently have a set price, however according to the information on their display cards both kits will be released in December!

under San Diego Comic Con

While at SDCC 2016, we sent the boys back to get more pictures of the new Legacy Power Rangers Ninja Storm figures. These figures are available NOW at your local Target stores (well, they’re there, they just may not be out for sale yet).

We’re still coming to you LIVE from this year’s SDCC 2016! We sent our photo guys back to the Bandai America booth to take some up close personal pictures of the upcoming Legacy Power Rangers In Space figures! Not due out until late 2016/early 2017, these figures mark the first release for all non-Red Rangers in a very long time!

Shown as “Display Only” at this year’s San Diego Comic Con 2016 is the Tamashii Buddies Power Rangers figures. Shown on display were the Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, and everyone’s favorite villain, Lord Zedd.

Hidden behind the awesome looking new The Loyal Subjects Action Vinyl Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Zords from the upcoming Series 2 release were Action Vinyls based on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. We’ve gone back and shot some images focused on those figures. They sport the classic look from the movie with the emblem on the chest armor.
