Hasbro PulseCon revealed a brand new WalMart exclusive line of Power Rangers figures. This new series is called “Retro Morph Power Rangers”, and features retro styling of brand new auto-morphin figures. These are due out in Spring 2021 and Wave 1 consists of the following figures:
Fans will note the absence of a Green, Yellow, and White Ranger … but Hasbro teased that this is simply wave 1. These are available to order at 5pm EST on WalMart.com.
The first images for the seventh wave of Hasbro’s fan-favorite action figure series, the Power Rangers Lightning Collection have surfaced online!
An eBay seller by the name of CmdStore has posted in-package shots of the next wave, which we now know includes:
Rounding out this wave is rumored to be a repack of the Mighty Morphin White Ranger.

The long-awaited return of Power Rangers Beast Morphers is finally at hand!
Beast Morphers returns to the airwaves Saturday, September 19 2020 at 8AM EST with a brand-new episode titled “The Evox Snare!”
A preview has been released online for this episode but the video does contain significant spoilers. Be sure to check it out in our Official Beast Morphers Season 2 Discussion Thread and remember to share your thoughts and fears on this exciting new series!
Next week belongs to Hasbro as they prepare to launch Hasbro Pulse Con, their own online entertainment convention that takes the place of the Hasbro reveals usually seen at San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con. Sneak peaks begin on Tuesday, September 22nd and merchandise purchases begin (for Pulse Premium members) on Wednesday, September 23rd. Product is available to ALL fans on Thursday, September 24th.
For Power Rangers – the magic begins on Saturday, September 26th. There will be both a Hasbro’s Power Rangers product panel with promised new reveals and Q&A with the design team. And of course the main event – the cast of Power Rangers Beast Morphers and the rumored (official) reveal of the cast of Power Rangers Dino Fury airing in 2021.

A brief teaser image for one of the Rangers included in the seventh wave of Hasbro’s Power Rangers Lightning Collection toyline has recently surfaced online. The figure in question is none other than the Dino Thunder Red Ranger!
Sadly, no further details regarding Lightning Collection Dino Thunder Red Ranger are available at time of writing.

When the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers freed Tommy Oliver from Rita Repulsa’s control, the prophecy was fulfilled and the Green Ranger, joined the side of good to defend the Earth. In one world. Once free in another, Tommy became something else entirely, Lord Drakkon. He ruled over a shattered world where only the Coinless stood against him. No longer a Power Ranger, Kimberly Hart continued fighting for her world, until she was manipulated by Lord Drakkon. Cursed with the Bow of Darkness, Kimberly became his tool. She became his Ranger Slayer. Her path has been full of darkness, but once a ranger always a ranger….
The Ranger Slayer joins the line as a part of Wave 5, along side the MMPR Blue Ranger, Time Force Red, and Trey of Triforia. Only the 2nd Boom! Studios inspired figure in the line, after Lord Drakkon, Ranger Slayer builds on the imperfect releases of the MMPR Pink & Yellow Rangers to give us our first really great female figure in the line. Armed with her own Blade Blaster, the Bow of Darkness, a triple shot arrow & arrow energy effect part, Ranger Slayer really is one of our favorite releases in the line thus far.

Today’s geek culture has taken a serious hit thanks to the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. We have seen the staples in the convention world shut down with a shift to offering only a spattering of the content we’re used to, sometimes behind a paywall. Power Rangers fans will no doubt know that both Power Morphicon and RangerStop were forced to postpone their shows until next year at the earliest – there is no guarantee conventions will ever resume like they used to.
