The Official Power Morphicon is fast approaching this August and the first events for this year’s show have been listed online! There will be more events announced closer to the show but here are the first listed events thus far!

– A Power Morphicon Welcome Party the first night of the show hosted by Moshi
– A Power Rangers Prom hosted by That Hashtag Show
– A Power Rangers Cosplay Contest hosted on Saturday night
– A Super Mini-Pla Megazord Model Contest by Shokugan Bandai

Highly speculated since it’s announcement and confirmed today through @bboyrealm on Twitter (guest relations at Power Morphicon), the BOOM! Studios creation Lord Drakkon will be joining the Legacy 6.5″ figure collection of Power Rangers. As an exclusive to this year’s Power Morphicon, you will need to register at the show and purchase the figure separately after you’ve registered.

Lord Drakkon first appeared in the BOOM! Studios comic book series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In an alternate reality where Tommy chose to stay with Rita Repulsa, Tommy destroyed the Power Rangers and combined the Green Ranger and White Ranger powers to become the evil Lord Drakkon! He will be featured prominently in the upcoming comic event Shattered Grid, where Power Rangers from all over time will need to come together to defeat him once and for all.

Thanks to @VintageJakksBCA on Twitter we have our first look at some new Fisher Price Power Rangers Imaginext toys revealed through listings at WalMart.com. The full listings of what was discovered is listed below.

– Black Ranger & Thunder Megazord 2 Pack
– Blue Ranger & Cyclopsis 2 Pack
– Yellow Ranger & Serpentera 2 Pack
– Pink Ranger & Black and Gold Dragon Megazord 2 Pack
– Chomping T-Rex Zord

Images of three of the 2 packs is available and included in this post. Also included is the SKU and UPC information on these new Imaginext figures. For those who collect – happy hunting! Thanks to GrnRngr.com’s Facebook page we have press photos for the upcoming 5th series of the Power Rangers Legacy 6.5″ figures. This series has already started bleeding in to stores with the Zeo Red Ranger showing up in Series 4 case assortment refreshes. The wave is as follows:

– Zeo Red Ranger
– Zeo Blue Ranger
– Zeo Pink Ranger
– Dino Thunder Black Ranger
– Dino Thunder Yellow Ranger

We know that at least one case assortment that will be hitting stores will contain only the male figures. The female figures have yet to be seen in package, in production, or anywhere really. We’re still awaiting an update on the Zeo Yellow Ranger, who is part of the Series 4 figures and yet has not been released.

The press photos do not appear accurate to what is going to be released. Many of the “shiny gold” parts of the figures end up being a dull orange color instead. This change first started with the Series 4 figures and continues int he Series 5 figures. Hopefully we will have some answers at Toy Fair next month as to why.

We’re a little over a week away from the premiere of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel. As we’ve inched closer to the premiere we now have a couple of episode summaries. Check them out below – no spoilers!

Super Ninja Steel is the second portion of the Power Rangers Ninja Steel series. It will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Power Rangers during the season with a special anniversary episode. New episodes begin airing on Saturday, January 27th on Nickelodeon.

This April begins the mega event for the Power Rangers comic book universe! The Shattered Grid event, which takes place in both Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers, features the return of the evil Lord Drakkon (the evil Tommy from a future alternate universe) and our heroes attempt to stop him. And they’ll need help from different Power Rangers throughout the Power Rangers Universe!

We have covers courtesy of IGN.com as well as some of the teams that will be featured in the Shattered Grid event! In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers you can expect to see Power Rangers Dino Charge, Power Rangers Time Force, Power Rangers RPM, and Power Rangers Ninja Steel.

In the Power Rangers Annual, which will feature specific characters, it would seem like we’re getting such classic Rangers as the Zeo Gold Ranger, In Space Blue Ranger, SPD Shadow Ranger, Samurai Red Ranger, and more!

Hong Kong figure company Ace Toyz have just revealed that they will be producing 1/6 scale figures for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red and Green Rangers. From the promo images we can see that the figures will have fabric bodysuits, as well as detailed weapons, belts and helmets.

According to Ace Toyz on their Facebook page, preorders for the figures will open next month with a price of around $110. We’ll bring you more information on the figures as it is announced!

After an extensive hiatus, new episodes of Power Rangers are returning to television!

The brand-new season, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel will begin on Saturday, January 27 2018 only on Nickelodeon!

Super Ninja Steel kicks off with the episode ECHOES OF EVIL and sees the Rangers facing a villain presumed destroyed. A brief teaser for this new episode & season has been posted online:

This will be the TWENTY-FIFTH season of Power Rangers, and a special anniversary episode will air during Super Ninja Steel celebrating the franchises’ long history.

It’s a new toy onslaught in the new year! Found by @TheKennGlenn at GameStop is none other than the Legacy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 1/4 Scale Helmets. These ring up for $22 and the assortment contains both the Mighty Morphin White Ranger and Mighty Morphin Red Ranger.

Bad news toy hunters – there’s more new toys out in the wild! Found by @salcipriano on Twitter at a Target store is none other than the Legacy Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Sabertooth Tiger Zord. As you may remember, these are articulated versions of the original Dino Zords and do NOT combine in to the Megazord. The first assortment contains the Sabertooth Tiger Dino Zord as well as the Tyrannosaurus Dino Zord.
