We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming this week, for a movie! That’s right, it’s that time at Let’s Watch Wednesdays! Time for a movie interlude for Mahou Sentai Magiranger!

The Bride of Infershia, is Yamazaki?! The Hades Beastman Groom Do Bridon has claimed her as his bride, now Kai and his siblings must save his young love from the King of beastmen. For if he marries a human woman, the souls of his trapped brethren will roam free again. The world will be Infershia’s in an instant. To stop the Groom the Ozu’s will travel to Magitopia and seek the aid of a legendary steed, Unigolon! The mighty Saint Kaiser will rise!!

No, this isn’t the poster for the next Super Hero Taisen film but a celebration of Japan’s three major Toku franchise and an event for fans of all ages.

 The Three Major Tokusatsu Hero Festival is an event that celebrates all things related to Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Super Sentai. The Festival will be held this August at the ATC Hall in Osaka Japan.

A complete teaser for the upcoming Super Sentai and Kamen Rider crossover “Gaim VS ToQGer” is now online after first airing with ToQGer episode six yesterday.

This special team-up will replace the regular Super Hero Time programming block on March 29– only a week away now! Be sure to tune in and discuss your thoughts with TokuNation!

Two new Support Resshas for the Rainbow Line have just hit store shelves in Japan, and Youtube reviewer “wotakufighter” has put up reviews for both!

This is the DX Tank Ressha

And here’s the DX Car Carrier Ressha

Car Carrier first appeared in ToQGer episode 5 and Tank Ressha is set to appear (in full) during this weekends’ episode!

Both can be purchased now from your tokusatsu merchandiser of choice, and they will also be re-released as part of a special 3-pack (bundled with Diesel Ressha) in late April!

As reported by orendsrange.com, recent scans have revealed that Narutaki, nemesis of Kamen Rider Decade will be playing a role in the much anticipated Ressha Sentai Toqger/Gaim crossover special.

His exact involvement isn’t known, but from the images we do know that he’ll have is own monkey puppet and will be appearing along side a monster called Mouraroid.

As this special is a prequel to Heisei VS Showa,  this most likely means that the whatever causes the events of Heisei VS Showa, it’s probably Decade’s fault.

Not content with making their listeners wait another month for an episode, Kickback and Den-O pushed forward through busy schedules and an absent Sentai Tamashii to record an episode of Talkin Toku – The TokuNation Podcast! But how do you fill the void of Sentai Tamashii? You bring in popular Power Rangers fan and enthusiast Eric (@trekkieb47 on Twitter, host of the @RangerCommandPH podcast) to talk some toku! The hilarity started early, it was constant, and never really went away. We can’t really stress just how much we laughed making this episode and all the pieces that went in to it.

Join hosts Chris, Jordan, and Eric as they discuss conventions – LexCon, San Diego Comic Con, and Power Morphicon – and some of the celebrities that they’ve run in to outside of the typical convention atmosphere. The conversation quickly changes to Tasting the Trainbow with recent developments on Ressha Sentai ToQGer, discussing what we like and do not like about the show thus far. Things go from happy rainbows to facepalms as the crew dips down in to the depths of Power Rangers Super Megaforce, focusing on the episode “A Lion’s Alliance”, and pretty much lose their focus and composure as they discuss all the things wrong with the show. An attempt at Kamen Rider Gaim discussion is made, but Power Rangers Super Megaforce sneaks back in as soon as someone mentions the phrase “new powers”.

A thieving Hades Beast has stolen Kai’s courage, and along with it the Travellion ticket! But the team will overcome, Hikaru certainly thinks so, and that these five magicians can create a new Legend together. And Wolzard’s magic has been taken by Meemy, and crafted into the Wolzaphone! And the 4 Beastman Hell Kings will rise once more. The beings who once almost defeated the Magirangers father, Blaigel….

This “ToQGer VS Gaim” event will replace the normal “Super Hero Time” lineup on March 30 and serve as a prelude to the “Hesei VS Showa Featuring Super Sentai” Movie War premiering in Japan that same weekend. Once again it looks like fun times are coming down the track for tokusatsu fans!
