Thanks to magazine scans originating from 4chan we have our first look at the fourth – or is it the seventh? – Ranger to join the Lupinranger vs Patranger series. Seemingly a double agent, the newest member has two names – Lupin-X (Silver) and Patren-X (Gold) – depending on which team he’s fighting with.

Using his morpher the X-Changer the X-Train Fire allows him to morph in to Patren-X while the X-Train Thunder allows him to morph in to Lupin-X. He can also summon the X-Emperor mecha when things get a little too big to handle.

The Uchu Sentai Kyuranger finale has come and gone. Was the series popular and successful? It’s probably too early to tell but we tuned in every weekend to watch the show. Our finances also took a hit over the year purchasing all the mecha and various kyutama that released.

After months of speculation and rumor, a brand-new Super Sentai VS Project has been officially announced!

This new direct-to-video adventure will be the first in a new sub-series known as V-CINEXT.

The movie pits the 41st Super Sentai Uchu Sentai KyuRanger against the lengendary Metal Heroes of the Space Squad! Actor Yuma Ishigaki returns once again as Geki, the Space Sheriff Gavan and Hiroaki Iwanaga will reprise the role of Space Sheriff Shaider.

The exact plot details for this crossover are unrevealed at time of writing, but the cast of KyuRanger have come together for a special announcement video-

Writer Nobuhiro Mouri (head writer for KyuRanger) returns once again for this story, and toku mainstay Koichi Sakamoto will direct.

Ahead of leaks for the 2nd Quarter toy catalogs for this exciting new series, Bandai’s B-Boys site has just streamed two new full length trailers for Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger!

Each trailer approaches the series from either team’s perspective and gives us some insight into their motivations as well as a first look at their full transformation sequences. We also get a solid look at all 6 of the VS Machines in action as well as the Goodstriker, and the combined Lupinkaiser and Patkaiser!

Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger begins on February 11th!

The release of the 42nd Super Sentai Series draws ever closer, and some new magazine scans have been posted online to give us the best look yet at Kaitou Sentai Lupin Ranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger!

Some new details are revealed in these scans-

*The GoodStriker that is central to both teams’ abilities is in fact a sentient device that chooses which team it wants to work with. When used by LupinRed the GoodStriker grants the ability to create clone soldiers. When used by Pat 1, the GoodStriker will fuse all 3 PatRangers to create PatUGo!

*GoodStriker becomes the central torso in both teams’ Mecha combos. As LupinKaizer the LupinRangers can attack with tremendous speed. As PatKaizer, the PatRangers will strike with tremendous force.

*The mysterious Lupin Collection will be central to most fights. Each Treasure has a unique effect, which can be unlocked by the Rangers OR the mysterious Gangler creatures.

*The Ganglers’ foot soldiers are known as Porderman and can hide in human form to hunt for the Treasures.

The month of July cannot get here quick enough for some of us Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger fans. Tamashii Nations recently revealed the release information for the upcoming Soul of Chogokin Dragon Caesar (July 2018 for 17,280 yen). For fans of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dragon Caesar is the Japanese name for the Dragonzord. This beautiful collectable is able to combine with the previously released Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin (Mighty Morpin Power Rangers’ Megazord). Does this mean in 2019 we’ll see God King Brachion (Titanus)? Only time will tell.

The Soul of Chogokin page for SOC Daizyujin has been updated with all the information for Dragon Caesar, including design schematics. It is quite a marvel to see how this thing was designed. We are mere weeks away from the premiere of the 42nd Super Sentai and at last we have some new details about the villains for this unique new double-series!

These are the Gangler, an Inter-Dimensional Crime Syndicate who arrive on Earth & steal the legendary Lupin Collection containing several powerful artifacts.

*Leading the Syndicate is Dogranio Yabon, a yellow-chained creature who decides to conquer Earth as part of his 999th Anniversary Celebration. He will be voiced by Mitsuru Miyamoto (perhaps best known as the voice of Roger Smith in Big O.)

*Second in the Syndicate is Destra Majo a heavy green grenade-based warrior who operates as Yabon’s bodyguard & whose body contains several weapons. He is voiced by Yuji Ueda (famous for the role of Takeshi/Brock from Pokemon.)

*Rounding out the Gangler group is Goche Lu Medo the blue-colored team medic who uses the Lupin Collection artifacts to increase the Ganglers’ abilities. She will be played by singer Ayana Taketatsu.

It’s coming.

Revealed through magazine scans shared by @_Erasu on Twitter, we have Soul of Chogokin Dragon Caesar (the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Dragonzord) release date, more images, and the combined form with Soul of Chogokin DaiZyuJin!

As Super Sentai fans are well aware, Bandai Japan does not make a habit of releasing anything other than vinyl figures for the Super Sentai heroes. However, that trend looks to be changing. Uchu Sentai Kyuranger saw the release of Yu-Do candy toys – articulated figures that, well, you put stickers on. That is continuing with Patranger vs Lupinranger. Thanks to Bandai Candy we have our first look at the Yu-Do Patranger vs Lupinranger Candy Toy Figures!

All three Patrangers and all three Lupinrangers will be released as well as a number of accessories for them (including swappable hands!). A number of changes from the Kyuranger version also look to increase the stability and overall look of the figures.
