INSTALL, MEGARANGER!

Our friends over at Shout Factory(and Power Rangers Now) have just announced the latest Super Sentai series to hit state side with the release of the Denji Sentai Megaranger Complete Series DVD set.

First airing in 1997, Denji Sentai Megaranger is about Kenta Date and his classmates fighting against the evil Nezireija  preventing them from conquering  this reality, the show was later used as the basis for Power Rangers In Space in 1998.

The Denji Sentai Megaranger DVD Complete set will be released on August 15th retailing for $42.99 US according to a listing on Best Buy’s website. Official cover art has yet to be released but stay tuned and we’ll bring more up to date info as it becomes avalaible.

April 29th marks the release of the long-awaited Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin, and in the lead up to this date Bandai Tamashii Nations‘ official Instagram account has revealed that the toy will receive exclusive Power Rangers packaging for its release in the US from Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA.

Whereas the Japanese Daizyujin release follows the SOC line’s fairly standard packaging format, the American release will include a more dynamic image, naturally retitling the toy as the Megazord alongside the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers logo.

Images from the new Uchu Sentai KyuRanger merchandise catalog have been posed online, giving us a look at some upcoming releases for this Super Sentai Series!

*First up is an unprecedented TWELFTH RANGER joining the KyuRangers’ lineup! This is our first look at HoOh Soldier, a warrior powered by the Phoenix Constellation! HoOh Soldier will transform using the power of the HoOh KyuTama with his unique weapon set- the HoOh Sword and HoOh Shield!

*HoOh Soldier commands the powerful rocketship known as HoOh Voyager! This vehicle can transform into a unique Mecha, named Gigant HoOh!

*Also revealed in this catalog is another Mecha, the Cerberus Voyager! This release is a green recolor of ShiShi Red’s Lion Voyager and will likely be the exclusive for KyuRangers’ summer film.

*Next comes the largest & most powerful KyuTama ever created: the Saiko KyuTama! This new device takes the form of a globe and has untold new abilities.

*Last but certainly not least is a brief teaser for ShiShi Red‘s new upgrade form- tentatively known as Shishi Red ORION!

A plethora of new magazine scans for Uchu Sentai KyuRanger have been posted online, giving some excellent details about two new additions to this Super Sentai team!

*First up comes the Dragon Master, RyuCommander! The elite warrior Xiao Longpo taps into his personal KyuTama becoming a new violet Ranger! Armed with the powerful Ryutsueder Staff RyuCommander can summon the mighty Ryu Voyager to fight off Jark Matter attacks! RyuVoyager can link with other Voyagers to form a new Mecha combo, RyuTeiOh!

*Next is the Big Star, Koguma SkyBlue! The 11th KyuRanger draws powers from the Ursa Major & Ursa Minor KyuTamas, and attacks enemies with powerful claws hidden beneath his gloved hands. Koguma SkyBlue will control two new Voyagers- Koguma and Ohguma Voyagers.

Definitely some exciting adventures ahead for the 41st Super Sentai Series!

As we edge ever closer to the release of Power Rangers Dino Force Brave in South Korea the first Youtube review of its unique mecha has surfaced! 쿠라 KOORA brings us a look at the DX Brave Tyranno King toy (which will be renamed Kyoryuzin Brave in Japan). The mecha is a remould of the previously released DX Kyoryuzin, sporting a new colourscheme alongside new weapons for all three components. The video review also features a look at the toy’s electronics, which may be changed for the Japanese release.

Power Rangers Dino Force Brave will be released in South Korea on 1st April, with the Japanese equivalent Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave following on 14th April!

Just when you thought it was safe to put those Zyudenchi away, Toei and Korea come together to create Power Rangers Dino Force Brave, or Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave, and release a whole new set of Zyudenchi. For those who have forgotten what a Zyudenchi is, it is the battery-type gimmick from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (aka Power Rangers Dino Charge).

Shown in this image here are four of the new Zyudenchi from this spinoff series as well as the advertised Zyuohger Zyudenchi. Will these be added to your collection? We await release details but all signs point to a Premium Bandai release in mid April.

Toei has opened their official page for the upcoming special series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave– a dub of South Korea’s new Power Rangers Dino Force Brave.

A number of veterans from the original Kyoryuger series will be returning for this dub, including-

*Toshiyuki Morikawa as Torin
*Haruka Tomatsu as Candelira
*Ai Orikasa as Luckyero
*Shigeru Chiba as the series’ Narrator.

Furthermore, actor Yamato Kinjo (who played Nossan/Kyoryu Blue in the original series) will take on the role of Brave Kyoryu Black!

The rest of the Brave Kyoryugers will be voiced by veteran Japanese voice actors:

*Brave KyoryuRed– Yutaro Honjo
*Brave KyoryuBlue– Sakai Yasunao
*Brave KyoryuGreen– Daiki Kobayashi
*Brave KyoryuPink– Kanae Oki
*Brave KyoryuGold– Shoma Yamamoto.

If you’ve been keeping up with our Power Rangers Dino Force Brave coverage, and have been clamouring for some of the toys that have been announced then we got good news for you.

It looks like P-Bandai will be picking up a few of these toys for the Japanese market with a teaser picture of that new sweet  Kyoryujin whom we now know is called Kyoryujin Brave, and the DX toy of this mecha appears to be the first to be imported over for this new toy line.

At the moment, we don’t have a whole lot of information to go on P-Bandai has yet to announce a price, release date, or if Kyoryujin Brave is the only toy that they’ll be bringing over. Though it seems that we’ll be getting more info on this release March 22nd 2017, so stay tuned and we’ll bring more info as it becomes avalaible.

With Super Minipla Daizyujin having just been released, it seemed as though the perfect accompaniment could be in development, with photos of a Super Minipla Dragon Ceaser or Dragon Zord currently in the early stages of prototyping.
