The boys of the Talkin Toku Podcast are back at it with the release of their 9th episode, Attack of the No No Cat (blame Tom for that one). Join your hosts Kickback (Chris, @rankal), Den-O (Jordan, @DenO_Tokunation), and Sentai Tamashii (Tom, @SoulInkChu) as they touch on a number of topics from last week in the world of tokusatsu!

Some of the hot topics discussed – their reactions on the international trailer for the new Godzilla movie, their thoughts on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic from Free Comic Book Day and just why Saban Brands did nothing to promote it (as well as some behind-the-scenes knowledge in the world of comics from our very own Sentai Tamashii, who works a freelance colorist and has done jobs for Marvel, DC, IDW Publishing, and Archie Comics), some good old fashioned toy talk with Kachidoki Arms and S.H. Figuarts Kyoryu Gold, and the usual show talk of Kamen Rider Gaim and Ressha Sentai ToQGer. But there’s even more stuff that’s discussed throughout the episode, including the No No Cat, spooky haunted microphones and/or alien contact, follow up on our last toy debate on Tamashii Nations and Super Sentai Figuarts, and so much more. The final stretch of Let’s Watch Wednesdays is here! The adventures of Mahou Sentai Magiranger will come to an end in just 2 more weeks!

The mysterious Sphinx continues to regulate the dark precepts the Hades Gods operate under. Her actions ensure, N-Ma’s revival!? But Blagel’s spirit continues to guard the dark soul of N-Ma. Drake will finally have his rampage on the surface, but the heavenly saint Snowgel will unleash her awesome power against him. And Blagel will return to the surface to fight the combined might of Sleipnir & Drake! This is one action packed week!

Official images are out for the next 3 DX Ressha releases from Ressah Sentau ToQger! Coming up in the next month or so we have:

  • Den-Liner Ressha
  • Fire Ressha
  • Police Ressha

Fire & Police of course are replacement forearms for ToQ Oh or Diesel Oh. Each having unique weapon modes for either arm. Den-Liner is a set of new lower legs for ToQ Oh based on the Den-Liner of Kamen Rider Den-O fame. It can be used in combination with Kyoryuger Ressha to form ToQ Oh Kyoryuzin feat. Den-Liner!

Let’s Watch Wednesdays is #1! (But don’t tell Magiking we said that) Mahou Sentai Magiranger is heating up and the 10 Infershia Gods will lead us into the eventual finale!

Magi Mother lives! But one of the 10 Hades Gods has her, to find out which the Magirangers will have to eliminate them one by one. The sniper Cyclops, and his vanishing bullets, are next. Tsubasa will have to best the shooter at his own game. Meanwhile Drake attempts to destroy Magi Shine. And the deceitful Gorgon will use Toad’s poison to swap Houka & Kai! Can they solve their freaky friday situation in time to help the team?!

Another round of magazine scans has come online, showing the future path of the Rainbow Line!

The scans give us our first real look at the in-show appearance of Cho ToQOh– the combination of ToQOh and DieselOh!

In addition, we see the next two support Ressha- Police and Fire Engine! Police gives the Mecha a blaster & handcuffs while Fire Engine uses a massive water cannon to fight enemies!

Most importantly, these scans show us the long-awaited Emperor of Darkness– Great Leader of the Shadow Line betrothed to Miss Greeta!

Spoiler:

Unlike the other Shadow Line creatures, the Emperor appears to have a human form! His true name is “Zett” and he seeks the power of imagination!

Finally, the scans end with what appears to be a brief shadow of Toq6- as a teaser for more exiting adventures down the tracks next month!

The first pieces of the Super Sentai Resshas (classified “Legend” Resshas by some retailers) have been released in Japan!

Early reviews of the Go-Buster and Kyoryuger vehicles and combinations have come to Youtube thanks to reviewer “とい★はっぴー” This gives us a close look at the new Resshas and their combinations with ToQOh!

If you were lucky enough to preorder these Legend Resshas, then keep an eye on your mailbox- they should be shipping very soon!

Another week has gone by which means it’s time for another round of episodes from Mahou Sentai Magiranger And after the incredible revelations last week, it’s time for the home stretch of Let’s Watch Wednesdays!

Blagel’s secret is known at last! But Kai simply can’t accept the dark truth of his father. Hikaru will fight Meemy one last time, the Duel Bond will be invoked and one of the two shall fall. The giant of fire & light, Saint Kaiser, will reappear! And N-Ma will at last be destroyed, or will he? The cost is a terrible loss to the Ozu family, but a ray of hope will be left in this wake. And a new darkness will revive, the slumber of the10 Hades Gods of Infershia is over!

It’s time to talk some toku with the Talkin Toku Podcast! Join your hosts Kickback aka Chris (@rankal), Den-O aka Jordan (@DenO_Tokunation), and Sentai Tamashii aka Tom (@SoulInkChu) as they talk the latest news to hit the tokusatsu community!

In Episode 008 – Articulated Boobs join the guys as they talk about the winning Ranger Keys of the Morphin Madness contest. They transition in to discussing some of the most exciting and promising news in recent memory for Power Rangers with the apparent return of Judd Lynn as executive producer of the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge season, adapted from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, in 2015. And the toy topic of the podcast? Are S.H. Figuarts of Super Sentai characters dead?

For the first time (and not the last time if you guys enjoy it), our conversation and discussion about Power Rangers Super Megaforce “Silver Lining Part 2” is done in the way of MST3K, with Jordan watching the episode live on the podcast. The part that makes it hilarious to listen to, aside from his criticisms of Power Rangers as a whole, is the fact he had no idea we were recording. Enjoy his natural comedic wit in this segment! The boys also discuss Kamen Rider Gaim, with the return of Kamen Rider Bravo and Kamen Rider Gridon. But where does the show go from here? The boys attempt to speculate. And discussion of Ressha Sentai ToQGer is hijacked with discussion of Mini-Pla ToQOh.

The third quarter toy releases for Ressha Sentai ToQger made their grainy debut last month. But we didn’t actually get to see everything. Site sponsor BigBadToyStore has just rectified that for us with brand new higher res official images! Check out these new official images for:

We’re back with another one-two punch of trains! Ressha Sentai ToQger marches on and so does it’s toyline!

Today we’re taking a look at the most recent pair of Support Resshas from the series, DX Car Carrier & Tank Ressha! This pair of course will be integral to the upcoming Diesel Oh formation. But until Diesel is released why not stop in and check out how fun these little trains can be on their own? Until Diesel Oh can be formed why no whet your appetite with ToQ Oh Tank, ToQ Oh Car Carrier, & ToQ Oh Car Carrier Tank? Or several other wacky and unorthodox combos you can form with these extras!
