Attention fans of TokuNation.com! Over the last two years we’ve grown at a steady pace to the point now that we’re now looking to bring in a couple of new people to join our staff! If you’ve ever wanted to become part of a fast-growing community in your favorite hobby or genre of interest, now is your chance! NEWS STAFF – POWER RANGERS
We’re looking for an individual who has a passion for Power Rangers that can help cover all the news that comes out every single day! Our ideal candidate would have a passion for the show and merchandise line with a decent amount of knowledge of the history of the show, the actors, etc. Knowledge of Super Sentai is not required, but favored. We do require some basic writing skill and use of correct grammar. By joining the staff of TokuNation.com you receive the following perks!

The most famous “monster” of all-time is reborn this summer with the new movie, and we at TokuNation.com are starting to get some Godzilla fever, and need someone to help us keep up with all the news and information! We’re looking for someone who has some decent knowledge of Godzilla and all his monster buddies, and who is excited and passionate for the franchise, not just the upcoming movie. If that sounds like you and you’re interested in helping grow our Godzilla section, please let us know by following the directions below. And as usual, there are perks!

It’s time for another trip down memory lane with the original dionsaur sentai. From Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger it’s S.H. Figuarts Armed Tyranno Ranger! This recent Tamashii Web Exclusive release is better known to western fans as the Mighty Morphin Armored Red Ranger, it was released in North American markets by Bluefin in Power Rangers 20th Anniversary packaging.

This figure represents Geki, Tyranno Ranger, after the death of Burai/Dragon Ranger. He inherited the Dragon Ranger powers from his brother and with them control over the mighty Dragon Caesar! This event was interpreted in the US MMPR adaptation as the Green Ranger powers being weakened and requiring a temporary host in the Red Ranger. The real world explanation for this is the above Zyuranger scenario, at the time no more footage was available of the Green Ranger. In the source footage he was literally dead. It wasn’t until the “Zyu2” footage was created by Toei that the Green Ranger could return on temporary occasions.

Overall this figure takes the best elements of both Tyranno & Dragon Rangers and crafts one excellent toy with them. If you have either of the other 2 figures you may feel this one is superfluous. Trust us, it isn’t. It’s another excellent addition to any Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collection and will complement your other figures well. The 3 Confined Hades Beasts must be called upon now by Branken! The seal which holds the Infershia at bay is their goal. They must find, The Key! Meanwhile Wolzard is performing a dark spell as the Magirangers are distracted. Urara is in full Mom mode when she finds out the Ozu family finances have disappeared thanks to Makito, Kai & Tsubasa must box a beast with Magi Punch, and Houka will get engaged?!

The adventure that is Let’s Watch Wednesdays with Mahou Sentai Magiranger continues at Tokunation!

Thanks to some brotherly rivalry, strawberries, and a dash of courage the mighty Magi Dragon was born! But this week the Magirangers will receive the spell of Majin Gattai and the powerful Magiking will rise! Young love will blossom (sort of), a metamorphing monster taxi will eat people (seriously), and Wolzard will return from the depths. But this time with a new dark magic, his own Majin Gattai. And Wolkaiser will rule the darkness. Can the hidden power within Magi Red Satisfy Wolzards curiosity and defeat his evil?

It’s a new year and thus it’s the first new episode of Talkin Toku at the Nation for 2014! Your hosts Kickback, Den-O, and Sentai Tamashii return from their holiday hiatus (the longest hiatus!) to talk about everything that happened over the break! In this episode, you’ll learn how Den-O received the nickname Cease and Desist Jordan, our thoughts regarding how Bandai of America is handling the release of female Ranger Keys in the toy line of Power Rangers Super Megaforce, how we think Tamashii Nations/Bluefin Tamashii Nations should handle their future releases of S.H. Figuarts for Super Sentai/Power Rangers, the new story-arch for Kamen Rider Gaim, and Sentai Tamashii ruins the Peach Energy Lock Seed, as well as Kamen Rider Den-O, for everyone for the rest of their lives.

SPOILERS ALERT! If you haven’t watched Kamen Rider Gaim through Episode 13, you should probably skip the part about the episode. Don’t worry, we give you some buffer time before we dive right in (even though Den-O tries a few times to start the Gaim conversation early). SPECIAL NOTE! Talkin Toku at the Nation is best listened to with headphones! If you don’t get the joke at the start of the episode … put on some headphones, you’ll hear the weird noise and it’ll make sense then. Were you a fan of Let’s Watch Wednesdays with Ultraman Nexus? If so then you’re in luck, on top of our previous Ultraman Nexus Junis Red & Junis Blue galleries we have a special web exclusive treat for you! Today we have a gallery of Ultra-Act Dark Zagi!

Zagi himself is a dark clone or copy of Nexus’ original form, Ultraman Noa. As such he has immense power at his control and is wildly violent. First rearing his ugly mug  in the Nexus finale, Zagi (or at least some version of him) would later return in Ultraman Ginga briefly. Though not the first or last dark giant or evil/dark Ultra, Zagi is certainly one of the most vile. Schemeing for decades towards his ultimate goal Zagi has gone down as one of the great Ultra villains. And this figure more than lives up to the image of that character, a welcome addition to any Ultra-Act collection.
