The destroyer of worlds return in his Phase 4 form, as Kamen Rider Evol Black Hole! This is a completely stunning remold and repaint of the previously released Evol Phase 1. Though this release doesn’t include any optional armor like that one, only coming with some additional pairs of hands, it’s an incredibly well done recreation of Evol’s ultimate form. While it may have a few minor flaws, it carries with it all the personality and charms of the previous release, while being able to focus on it’s singular form.

The galactic invincible muscle head arrives! The potential release of this form has been teased for quite some time, since October of last year during Tamashii Nations 2019. But finally we have confirmation that S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Cross-Z Evol will indeed be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive!

Exclusive to the Kamen Rider Build New World: Kamen Rider Cross-Z movie, Cross-Z Evol is a unique fusion of both Kamen Rider’s Cross-Z, and Evol, with Cross-Z in control of the form. Orders are opening for this stylish form on August 21st, but we’ve still yet to get official confirmation on pricing or a specific release windo for Cross-Z Evol. This article will be updated next week when those details are available.

“Black Hole! Black Hole! Black Hole!”

Evol’s strongest form finally arrives  with an S.H. Figuarts release! Originally teased quite some time ago, Evol Black Hole will be a perfect compliment to the recently released Evol Phase 1.2.3 set, which we reviewed back in March. Now that this alien menace will finally be complete thanks to the powers of the Evol Trigger, you can add him to your collection for 7700 yen in November 2020. Black Hole will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive and we recommend you don’t wait this one out, it’s likely to go up in value based on the first Evol release.

The Evol Driver. The weapon which the alien menace Evolt used to destroy Mars. A scheme that has taken over 20 years to repair and retrieve it, has finally paid off. Shedding the skin of his Blood Stalk persona, the Pandora Box is within Kamen Rider Evol’s grasp! But can the heroes of Earth and the Rider System outlast that which they were created from? Can the Kamen Riders defeat this eternal evil? Or will they only serve to make him stronger

Kamen Rider Evol is an absolutely delicious release. I was in love with this suit design when it debuted in show, and I adore it in figure form. Evol’s standard Phase 1 Cobra Form is by far the most stylish but it’s certainly tough to beat the other two forms as well. Forgoing much in the way of standard accessories other than hands, Evol instead includes all the extra parts needed to recreate his Phase 2 & Phase 3 forms, Dragon & Rabbit! A genius way to release all 3 forms at once, Tamashii Nations have outdone themselves with this delightfully wonderful villain.

“Best Match!”

Tamashii Nations day 2 has gotten off to a pretty wild start for Kamen Rider Build fans! A number of new reveals that were under photo bans have finally been revealed:

S.H. Figuarts:
Kamen Rider Evol Cobra Form
The Hokuto Three Crows (Aoba, Kiba, Akiba)
Kamen Rider Grease (With Crows Dog Tags)
Kamen Rider Build Rabbit/Rabbit Form
Kamen Rider Build Tank/Tank Form
Kamen Rider Build Rabbit/Dragon Form

Rabbit/Dragon, the final form debuting in the final episode of the series, has yet to be seen in a properly clear photo, as it’s still under the photo ban. The Hokuto Three are listed as S.H. Figuarts on their placard, however they do appear to be non-articulated Figuarts Zero’s based on the prototypes shown. They’re definitely quite an interesting release if they make it out to retail eventually.  As is we have no confirmed release info for any of these figures.

As we approach the premiere of Kamen Rider Zi-O in September, we’re continuing to see more and more images of the toyline for the upcoming show. Today brings us a look at this year’s main “gimmick” line with the first wave of RKF (Rider Kicks Figures). 

RKF looks to be a general action figure line rather than one truly driven by a gimmick as in years past. The line is composed of characters from across the Heisei Era and will also be featuring power up armors for Kamen Rider’s Zi-O & Gates. The first wave of releases is dominated by Kamen RIder Build characters including; Build (Rabbit/Tank), Cross-Z, Grease, Evol (Cobra), and the Be The One film exclusive form Cross-Z Build (Rabbit/Dragon).

Cross-Z is listed with a 2160 yen price point and October release date, while Evol & Cross-Z Build each bare a 2700 yen price point with November release dates. The first wave of 6 RKF figures are all up for pre-order at HLJ currently. These pre-orders include Ex-Aid Level 2 who isn’t shown in these initial scans. We’ll be sure to keep you informed as more information about this toyline becomes available.

After devastating Mars, the extraterrestrial being Evolt came to Earth seeking to repeat this tragedy. To rebuild his arsenal & powers and become a complete being once again, he would play the long game of manipulating humans to do his bidding. Helping to create Faust, the Rider System, and taking on the guise of Blood Stalk, Evolt has meddled in human affairs for a over a decade. Now, he can also meddle with your collection thanks to the release of S.H. Figuarts Blood Stalk! 

Blood Stalk sees the return of the well received mold created for Night Rogue with a few key changes to give Stalk his trademark Cobra theme. As ever this mold is nicely poseable and full of personality. But it’s the accessories that really sell it. Thanks to a full compliment of hands, a functional Transteam Rifle, and some new Steam Effect parts. This mold will undoubtedly return at least a third time for Mad Rogue and I eagerly await it!
