Who’s That Guy?
Why he’s the titular antagonist turned hero of Super Hero Tasien GP, and today we take a look at him in figure form as S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 3! Rider 3 as a character originated in the 1972 Manga Kamen Rider 3 vs. General Black but his existence was largely forgotten for 40+ years until Taisen GP where the character was tweaked to create the modern version.
And wow is that a modernized suit! In essence Rider 3 looks to have the basic Showa Shin Rider 1/2 design as a base but with a pseudo-S.I.C. aesthetic draped over it. Producing a unique design that hearkens back to the days of the Kamen Rider The First & The Next films. Rider 3 manages to look angular and modern but has all the hallmarks of his Showa brethren allowing him to fit seamlessly into any Showa or Heisei display. With the inclusion of a couple just perfect effect parts you have a nice and tidy package of a figure that’s sure to please.
We’ve assembled over 50 images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 3, though only a handful are attached to this post. To see the entire gallery and read up on our in depth review of the figure, click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post.
