This year was the second annual Hasbro PulseCon and it was one heck of a show!  Hasbro revealed brand new products for all of their major lines – including Power Rangers – and opened the floodgates on pre-orders for all the delicious plastic goodness that we’ve come to know and love.

After PulseCon, we were fortunate enough to be given an interview with John Warden (Design Director) and Jon Firestone (Marketing) from Hasbro’s Power Rangers team.  In our interview we ask about future accessories for figures still missing items in the Lightning Collection, we get intimate details on the Lord Zedd helmet, the decision behind releasing a second In Space Blue Ranger (with Galaxy Glider) so quickly after the first (VS two pack with Psycho Silver), and of course – the inaccuracies in the Lunar Wolf Silver Ranger figure.

We have the official images for the upcoming Wave 11 of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection.  Due to global shipping issues, these figures are not due to be in hand until September 2022 at the latest.  This wave, announced today at Hasbro PulseCon 2021, includes:

  • Dino Fury Red Ranger
  • Dino Charge Pink Ranger
  • Zeo Cog (with Zeo Ranger III Blue’s Tonfas Weapons)
  • Wild Force Lunar Wolf Ranger

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Power Rangers and Hasbro chose to celebrate by bringing 25 different helmets, one for each year of Power Rangers, to their display booth at this year’s Power Morphicon! Those with keen eyes will recognize the display pieces coming from the original offices of Saban Brands which shut down earlier this summer when Hasbro purchased their entire catalogue of intellectual properties.

For now we’ve yet to get confirmation of the individual who found these and where, but it looks like the final hunt for Power Rangers Super Megaforce and the popular Legendary Ranger Keys is about to begin! After months in limbo some of the last waves of Keys were released as Toys R Us Exclusives in December, and today brings the first sighting of the remaining Wave 5 key packs!

Yesterday we saw two of these as yet unreleased Ranger Key Packs for the first time. Today brings us further images and character confirmation on tons of these new packs that have yet to hit US retail! Thanks to some likely questionable methods a seller on Chinese auction site Taobao[/URL] has been selling the new key packs. Here’s the breakdown of what we know:

This news was first reported yesterday with the discovery of the Turbo & Lost Galaxy B pack images. These new images have come to light thanks to the sleuthing of regular fandom contributor @PockyBandit on twitter! It appears that several of these new packs have already been sold by this particular Taobao seller as well, it could be only a matter of days before someone in the fandom has them in hand to share hi-res images!

Thanks to Fury Diamond of Rangercrew, the next wave of 5’’ Super Megaforce Action figures have been revealed once again through Amazon listings!

Waves 5 and 6 of the line will include:
