However, if you’re new to the site or you happened on this page by accident we have some great news to tickle your nostalgia bone – the Power Rangers officially turn 25 years old TOMORROW, August 28th!

Starting at 12:00am on Tuesday morning, it will officially be #PowerRangersDay! Celebrate on social media everything you know and love about Power Rangers with #RangerNation!

The next two days are HUGE for the Power Rangers brand. On Tuesday at 8pm EST, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel will make an incredibly rare primetime airing to showcase an episode that will celebrate 25 years of the Power Rangers television show in “Dimensions in Danger“, featuring the return of Jason David Frank as Tommy the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, as well as other Legendary Rangers, for an epic team-up episode.

On Wednesday, August 29th, arguably the biggest comic book story of the year will finally wrap up with the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Shattered Grid #1. For two years Kyle Higgins has scripted a story that all leads up to this epic conclusion of the Power Rangers’ greatest enemy – Lord Drakkon, the evil alternate reality version of Tommy – with the fate of all of existence at stake! Will the Power Rangers be successful at stopping Lord Drakkon or will evil triumph and destroy reality as we know it?

Join us as we live tweet the 25th Anniversary Special episode on Tuesday, and join us for a spoiler-filled review and celebration of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Shattered Grid #1 issue on Wednesday. IT’S MORPHIN TIME!

A brand new clip for the much-hyped Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Special episode “Ranger Danger” was just released today, a special that will see the return of many Power Rangers both past and present.

In this clip titled “Surprise Comeback,” a familiar face arrives to save our Rangers from a rather sticky situation. Of course, the clip will contain spoilers so make sure you hit the jump at your own risk and be sure to tune in Tuesday, August 28th 2018 to view the special in its entirety.

Easily the most exciting display of the weekend at this year’s Power Morphicon was the enormous amount of screen used props that Hasbro brought with them to the show. Ranging from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all the way through Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, fans were given a treat seeing these props up close and personal.

So of course we busted out our camera and took as many high resolution pictures as we could! Who knows if or when we will ever see these again? Every single prop that was on display is pictured in this news story. Click the title of the story to see them all!

The biannual Power Morphicon has come and gone but we’re still sharing images from the event! There were so many things to take pictures of and so little time to do it that we’re still catching up! Hasbro pulled out all the stops in their first-ever Power Morphicon by cracking open the vaults and showing off some Legendary Rangers goodness in a number of costumes and props from the last 25 years.

We’re back, with even more photos of today’s biggest announcement from Power Morphicon 2018. The Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin White Ranger! Which has absolutely been the talk of the con since it’s debut.

Our very own @TokuChris has been struggling to get a signal to send us photos and videos. But it seems he’s finally found the sweet spot of the convention center to get us a new smattering of up close looks at the Lighting Collection White Ranger! We’ll be back a bit later one with super hi-res shots of this display prototype, as well as a massive gallery of all the props, helmets, and full ranger suits on display at Power Morphicon 2018!

“It’s Morphin’ Time!

Announced at Hasbro’s Power Morphicon panel earlier today, the new Lightning Collection is already shaping up to be a fantastic replacement for Bandai’s now defunct Legacy 6.5″ line of figures. This amazing new line of 6″ scale, show accurate, accessorized, and affordable ($19.99) figures is a welcome addition for collectors worldwide.

Via the official Power Rangers Twitter account, we also now have access to the video shown announcing the line at said panel. This video breakdown gives us a look at the entire construction and production process of the prototype seen at the Con today. Which was then displayed publicly by Hasbro after the show.

Our old friend @JmannDX has provided us with some new higher-res shots of the Lightning Collection White Ranger as well, attached to the story after the jump. For now, see the video above for a fantastic first look at this line and what we can hope for in the future!

Perhaps the biggest event at Power Morphicon today is the reveal of the next generation of Power Rangers!

At long last we get to meet the faces behind Power Rangers Beast Morphers– an adaptation of the 2012 Super Sentai series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.

This new Ranger team consists of:

*Rorrie Travid as the Red Ranger
*Jasmeet Baduwalia as the Blue Ranger
*Jacqueline Scislowski as the Yellow Ranger

As Power Morphicon continues, the good people at HASBRO have revealed their first project utilizing the Power Rangers toy license!

A new series of action figures known as The Lightning Collection has been revealed! This series will feature the most screen-accurate action figure recreations ever, standing roughly 6 inches tall and including all weapons & accessories. In addition, the Lightning Collection figures will include secondary heads matching their characters’ unmorphed face!

Only 1 piece of the Lightning Collection is on display at the moment- the Mighty Morphin White Ranger!

The Lightning Collection will be hitting stores in Spring 2019. Figures are priced at a very modest $19.99 USD. Exact assortments are not known at this time, so stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this exciting new toyline!

In case you missed it, Renegade Game Studio’s Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid board game went live on Kickstarter the other day and already met its original goal of $100,000 within the first eight hours! The Kickstarter is now on the second day of funding and as of this write up is now sitting at $158,398.

This means that the first batch of stretch goals have been unlocked and will be added to anyone who pledges to either the $150 tier or 250 all-in tier.

If you’ll be among those attending Power Morphicon this weekend, RenegadeStudios will be there demoing the game so be sure to check them out, and we’ll provide you more updates on this Kickstarter as they become available.

We reported on this game a bit earlier in the month, but as of today the Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid tabletop game Kickstarter is officially live! And that’s not all either. Having been active for less than 24 hours, the Kickstarter campaign has already raised $70,000+ of it’s $100,000 goal! 

That is an amazing achievement for this project. Fans clearly known what they want and are ready to help fund it. Pledges can be made in 4 tiers, $75, $150, $240, and $300. We’ve included images of all the features and currently announced expansions for the game as well, to tide you over as this campaign clearly move towards it’s full funding goal. With nearly 4 weeks left to go for funding, there’s now way this excellent project won’t meet it’s goal.
