Have you ever dreamed of owning a piece of screen-used Power Rangers history?  Now is your chance!  A bittersweet auction is happening through Heritage Auctions containing pieces from all 30 years of Power Rangers history.  The skinny is this – Hasbro is cleaning house and cutting costs, so storing 30 years of history of a television series they no longer have any desire to produce is considered an unnecessary expense.  So Hasbro has cleaned out the storage warehouse for Power Rangers and is auctioning off (for profit) all sellable pieces from the history of the show.

In this auction, you will find nearly every single screen-used Power Rangers costume for the heroes, the villains, and more props than replica prop-makers know what to do with.  Everything from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, through Cosmic Fury and the Once And Always special is available for auction.

Our friends at Titan Manga have shared that Volume 7 and Volume 8 of the Kamen Rider Kuuga manga are releasing before the end of this year.  Volume 7 releases on October 29th 2024 while Volume 8 will release December 31st 2024.  You can find pre-order links below as well as brief descriptions.

The Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger are getting an upgrade!

This is our first proper look at Champion Form– a unique new team power-up for the core five Boonboomgers unlocked via the Champion Changer.
Champion BoonBoomgers receive the stylish Champion Jacket, which offers them 10 special new abilities in combat.

The legends from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers continue to be made available in statue and bust form from Diamond Select Toys!  This White Ranger resin bust stands approximately 10 inches tall in 1/2 scale and based upon his appearance from the iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!  The base is a white flame with an insert Power Coin.

This is a limited piece (1000 units) designed by Joe Allard.  Packaged in a full-color window box and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.  Approximately $200 MSRP and will release in May/June 2025.

Toei has released the first full trailer for the Kamen Rider W Fuuto PI anime movie The Portrait Of Kamen Rider Skull.

This film serves as an origin story for the W universe, adapting portions of the Begins Night and Message for W features films released during the original series.

Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull is scheduled for limited theatrical release on November 8 2024.

A new line of Super Sentai Mecha toys is in the works!

Titled DX Robo Universe this new series features smaller but fully transforming versions of iconic Sentai Mecha with cross-compatible joints (similar to the Zord-Builder system previously used by Bandai America).

The first 3 entries in DX Robo Universe are:

*Engine-Oh from Engine Sentai Go-Onger!

*ToQOh from Ressha Sentai ToQGer!

*GokaiOh from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

Each DX Robo Universe release is priced at 5280 Yen. EngineOh & ToQOh are scheduled for release in October 2024 while GokaiOh is slated for a December 2024 release.

This year’s Power Morphicon is in full-swing and while the show may no longer be recognized as an official Power Rangers convention by the powers that be, that doesn’t stop companies that have licenses for Power Rangers from showing up and sharing their product.  Enter ThreeZero and their FigZero line of 1/6 scale figures.  So far, they’ve released all seven of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a Lord Drakkon figure, and their highly anticipated Zeo Ranger V Red 1/6 figure is due for release this month.

At San Diego Comic Con, we had the reveal of the Red Turbo Ranger.  Thanks to Twitter/X user @datila_, we have our first look at the remaining members of the Power Rangers Turbo team!

Fans of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series from BOOM! Studios recently saw their beloved comic book universe come to a close in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Darkest Hour.  At that time, the future of Power Rangers comics seemed murky, but BOOM! Studios has now removed those fears with the announcement of their new on-going Power Rangers comic series titled “Power Rangers Prime“.

Similar in concept to the idea of the Ultimates universe in Marvel Comics, Power Rangers Prime features the Power Rangers but in a brand new universe untied to any previous continuity.  The main character to start this series is none other than the Power Rangers Samurai Red Ranger Lauren Shiba, who is on the run from the Eltarian Police for being a Power Ranger, and finds her way to Angel Grove where she will meet friends and foes, and not necessarily who you expect.  Another star in the series will be a Power Rangers Megaforce character, and potentially a member from Power Rangers Jungle Fury.  The new comic has no rules in what it can do and who it can focus on with no ties to previous continuity.

The new comic is written by Melissa Flores and will be illustrated by Michael Yg.  Character design and covers are handled by veteran Power Rangers artist Dan Mora.  Power Rangers Prime #1 releases on November 13th 2024.
