After being displayed last month at Tamashii Nations Tokyo, we finally have a clear look at the official images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II! The page for this release is now live on P-Bandai.

Scheduled for an October release, Zi-O II’s retail price is 6380 yen. However, as seems to be the case more often these days, don’t let the official pics fool you. While Zi-O II definitely comes with the signature Saikyo Girade, he does *not* include the Zikan Girade. Despite what these images suggest, the only way to get a Zikan Girade is still having purchased the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Ride Striker. The two swords should still  becapable of combining, but you’ll need both of those releases to utilize it.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, so be sure to keep an eye on your favorite middleman services and retailers for pre-orders.

Wave 1 consists of the SPD Shadow Ranger, Lord Zedd, the Dino Charge Red Ranger, and our subject today, the Mighty Morphin White Ranger! Look no further than our gallery & review to see comparisons with S.H. Figuarts & Hasbro’s Marvel Legends, the incredible articulation engineered into this figure, and the wealth of accessories the White Ranger includes. Such as the Saba Saber, and even a civilian Tommy Oliver head!

To dominate the Morphin Grid & the real world, the sinister virus Evox has demanded the servitude of Scrozzle and his army of Tronic soldiers! Cold, lifeless machines, the Tronic’s battle the Power Rangers of Coral Harbor at every turn. While they aren’t as powerful as Robotron’s, their sheer numbers can make things difficult for our heroes.  Thankfully for collectors, you can build your own army of the mechanical monsters with the 6″ Basic Tronic Figure!

The 6″ Tronic is the first troop builder villain from Hasbro and luckily has been hitting retail in decent numbers allowing many collectors to get as many as they need. Fortunately for us, Hasbro was kind enough to provide us with one for free as part of their Beast Morphers Product Review Mailer. With much of the same standard articulation as the 3 rangers released so far, the Tronic is another great basic figure to add to your collection. Armed with two Tronic Blasters and a Tronic Morph X Key this figure will antagonize your Rangers or compliment your Blaze quite well.

New images from the next entry in the Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger toyline have been released online!

This is our first look at the sixth DX Mecha in the RyuSoulger line, a flaming Dimetrodon known as DimeVolcano!

DimeVolcano comes with a unique RyuSoul known as the MeraMera Soul. Both can combine with the DX KishiRyuOh to create KishiRyuOh DimeVolcano!

The DX DimeVolcano is scheduled for release in May 2019. The price is a modest 2800 Yen before shipping and handling.

“Okay Cruise, let’s do this!”

Last week, we here at TokuNation received a rather generous gift. The good people at Hasbro sent out a pretty huge and impressive Product Review Mailer containing the entire first wave of Power Rangers Beast Morphers product! A number of fan sites and toy reviewers received them and we were lucky enough to receive one of these free mailers ourselves. While we plan to review all the products it contained, we wanted to kick things off with a review of the big bot in the box. The Beast Racer Zord Action Figure!

If you’re familiar with Hasbro’s other properties, the Beast Racer Zord Figure fits right in with their Titan Hero line of affordable figures. At $19.99 the Racer Zord is a bit more than those, but it’s also a pretty well rounded toy. Based on the Racer Zord Battle Mode suit, the figure has heroic super robot proportions, but also a ton of sculpted in detailing. With just the right articulation cuts and the included sword & axe, the Racer Zord is a great toy for kids and display piece for collector’s of all ages.

“Unleash the beast!”

Since it was officially announced back in February 2018 that Hasbro (the massive toy company behind Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, and much more) was picking up the Power Rangers master license from Saban Brands & Bandai America, fans wondered what the future of the brand would look like. But shortly after that initial announcement, Hasbro let the world know what the Power Rangers series was headed for with Power Rangers Beast Morphers! In recent months the show has begun airing, and in fact just went on hiatus with this weekend’s introduction of the Gold Ranger! With a fresh new take on the TV show thriving, it’s good to know that the toyline is as well!

With Hasbro taking over the master license for the brand, the toyline has completely changed. While still based in practice on the designs crafted for it’s Super Sentai equivalent, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, without Bandai America involved this line has been rethought from the ground up. In light of this seismic shift in the way the Power Rangers toyline is designed and approached now, Hasbro has also decided to reach out to numerous fan sites, toy reviewers, and other prolific members of the Power Rangers fan community to foster some good will towards the new line. To that point, I & and the entire TokuNation team are proud to be included among these individuals. Hasbro has generously provided a product review mailer for us to sample the entire initial wave of Beast Morphers toys! This product mailer was 100% free and shipped to us at no cost whatsoever, it is truly a gift from Hasbro. One we incredibly and deeply appreciate.

TokuNation has been around for going on 8 years now and I’ve been doing toy reviews/galleries for this site for nearly that entire time. To say I and we are honored, would be an understatement. A toy company has never personally reached out to me before in order to review their products. So I accept this rather graciously. While I’ll be reviewing every item in this product mailer individually in the coming weeks, I wanted to take today to simply break down the contents of this generous gift on the whole, and present the wonderful packaging it was sent in. BUDDY GO!

In case you missed it, Ultraman Taiga was announced as the exciting new chapter in the Ultra Heroes franchise. Since the initial announcement, a new teaser went live on YouTube showcasing each of the new Ultras in motion.

In addition, we also have a premiere date: July 6th 2019! In the meantime, you can watch the teaser in the box below:

LEVEL UP!

Joining alongside S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II that we posted earlier, our second reveal is for fans of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, and it’s none other than S.H.Figuarts Gemedus Chronus!

At the moment, both Gemedeus Chronus and Zi-O II are display only items so we have no indication on when/if they’ll come out and how much they’ll cost.

REJOICE!

A Tamashii Nations event is currently being held in Tokyo, photos from the event’s beginning to trickle in and we have our first reveal: S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II!

At the moment there isn’t any information on when Zi-O II will come out or for how much. But stay tuned, and we’ll be sure to update you once more info is made available.
