The setup for Toyfair 2019 continues, with a new handful of images from Hasbro highlighting the great new changes to the Power Rangers franchise!

Taking center stage this time is a new series from PlaySkool known as the PlaySkool Heroes Power Rangers subline! This collection offers a series of blind-bagged Power Rangers figures, featuring a wide variety of characters. In addition, the Heroes line will contain a wide variety of Morphin Zord playsets- current display includes Zords from Power Rangers Wild Force and Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Not to be outdone, several new images from the Power Rangers Beast Morphers shelves have been released- giving us our best look yet at the new Rangers, Beast Bots and sinister villains.

With ToyFair 2019 opening tomorrow, Hasbro is busily setting up displays for their new Power Rangers series!

Social media reporter ThatToyGirl has released the first image from the Power Rangers Beast Morphers toyline. Figures on display include:

*All 5 Beast Morpher Rangers.
*The Beast Bot supporting characters.
*The villains- Evox, Blaze & Roxy

And many more!

Today, amongst all the brand new Power Rangers news revealed over the last 12 hours, Hasbro has officially launched HasbroPulse.com, the new name and face of what was previously known as HasbroToyShop.com.  Their motto is one that should make most fans smile – “Where Fans Come First”.  HasbroPulse.com offers direct pre-orders and orders of all new and upcoming collector-oriented product from brands like NERF, Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, and of course, Power Rangers.

There is also a premium service being offered called “Hasbro Pulse Premium“.  We’ve done our best to detail exactly what all of it means.

  • Free ground shipping for the rest of the 2019 calendar year (US only right now)
  • Flash sales and monthly discounts
  • Other perks throughout the year at select conventions

In past years, Hasbro had a habit of revealing new toys at San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con and mentioning to fans that they were available that moment to order.  Those toys often sold out quickly before showing up at Amazon and other online retailers, usually a month or two later.  But what does “other perks throughout the year at select conventions” mean?

Our first guess – a “line cut” or something similar at the Hasbro Pulse booth at San Diego Comic Con.  That, and probably a “first chance” to purchase convention exclusives online if you cannot make it to the show.

You can enroll in Hasbro Pulse Premium right now, for free, by simply creating an account and making a purchase before the end of the day on Friday, February 23rd.  After that it will cost you $50 annually to become a Hasbro Pulse Premium member.  They tease even more perks for their “best customers”.

In short – find something you want (personally I recommend the Transformers Siege Ultra Magnus figure) and get a toy AND membership in to Hasbro Pulse Premium.  We believe that your first chance to get brand new Power Rangers toys, and in the future Power Rangers convention exclusive toys, will be through HasbroPulse.com.

It’s that time again, time for another round of news straight from Toy Fair 2019! If you haven’t been keeping up, Hasbro unveiled that bombshell that was Lightning Collection late last night, in addition to some new information on when the much anticipated Power Rangers: Beast Morphers will air

A trailer was shown to investors and while we don’t have that investor trailer yet, we do have a few new juicy tidbits for the upcoming show.

The first episode of Power Rangers: Beast Morphers will air March 2nd, 2019. The title of the episode will be “Beasts Unleashed” we’ve also been a time slot: 7 AM MST, 8 AM CST and 9: AM EST.

Hasbro has revealed a new outlet for the Power Rangers franchise!

Partnering with Kilburn Live entertainment, a new stage show & fan experience featuring the Power Rangers will begin touring North America.

Power Rangers franchise general manager Simon Waters has this to say-


“POWER RANGERS is a powerhouse franchise and we’re excited to build upon its 25-year legacy of entertainment and innovation to bring immersive experiences to a new generation of fans. We’re thrilled to work with Kilburn Live to unlock the potential of the POWER RANGERS Brand Blueprint with the live stage show and fan experience designed to delight existing fans and attract new ones. Kilburn is a proven leader in executing creative live entertainment experiences and we know all POWER RANGERS fans and families will find even more ways to engage with their favorite franchise.”

No release dates have been announced for this new live venture. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

This weekend is the annual ToyFair trade show, a chance for toy manufacturers to gather and share details on their upcoming products. And Hasbro is kicking things off with a bang!

During the official Investor Preview for the ToyFair event, Hasbro revealed a number of tidbits about their new brand- Power Rangers! Several key points were mentioned during this discussion, including:

*A discussion on the successful Power Rangers outlets- including toys, clothing, games, comics, and more.

*Highlighting the key elements of this brands’ continued endurance, citing diversity as a major factor.

*A close look at the packaging for the upocoming new series, Power Rangers Beast Morphers.

But most importantly, we at last have a START DATE for this series! Power Rangers Beast Morphers will officially be released on March 2 2019!

A trailer for Beast Morphers was shown to investors but has not been made available to the public. It seems likely that a trailer will be released when ToyFair officially opens this weekend.

Thanks to SouthernHobby.com we have our first look at Wave 1 of the upcoming Power Rangers Lightning Collection.

The first wave will consist of Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Lord Zedd, SPD Shadow Ranger, and Dino Charge Red Ranger. These are slated for release in May 2019.

White Ranger comes with Saba, an alternate Tommy Oliver head, and a blue sword effect for Saba
Lord Zedd comes with his staff, a “growth orb”, and a fire effect for his staff
Shadow Ranger comes with the Shadow Saber and a blue sword effect
Dino Charge Red Ranger comes with Dino Charge Blaster, Dino Saber, and lightning effect

These will come packed 8 to a case.

Now, count up your sins!

Yet another Kamen Rider is coming to Bandai Spirit’s Figure-Rise Standard line of model kit action figures. And as you may have already guessed from the title and pictures: it’s everyone’s favorite half-boiled crime-solving detective: Kamen Rider W!

Figure-Rise Standard Kamen Rider W in his Cyclone Joker form was seen among Bandai Spirit’s  upcoming[/url] offerings at a recent model kit exhibition hobby show in Japan. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any release date or pricing for this model kit but we’ll be sure to let you know the minute more info gets released.

The Ultraman S.H. Figuarts range has enjoyed a wide range of aliens and kaiju from both the original series and Ultraseven, but when the line moved onto Return of Ultraman last year things seemed to be awfully quiet in comparison. However fans of the adventures of Ultraman Jack can now rejoice, as Tamashii Nations reveal S.H. Figuarts Black King.

Appearing in episodes 37 and 38, a pivotal two-part story in the series and widely regarded as one of the best classic Ultra stories, Black King is the kaiju bodyguard of Alien Nackle. The S.H. Figuarts version will be released as a Tamashii web exclusive in July, with a price tag of 7560 yen. Preorders will open on February 16th.

KAIGAN!

At the last Tamashii Nations event, it was announced that a hyper-stylized, gritty take on Kamen Rider Ghost was coming down the pipeline. At the time, we only had lineart of what the line’s take on Ghost will look like but since then, @T_features just recently posted our first look at the prototype via a series of tweets

In addition to Ghost, two new prototypes emerged: a new take on Kamen Rider Ryuki and a teaser for the long-awaited S.I.C Kamen Rider Fourze.

There isn’t much on when these figures will be coming out or in what form, at the moment all we have to go on are these prototypes. Do note that S.I.C underwent a rebranding and is now Superior Imaginitive Coliseum.
