Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger June Magazine Scans Online- An Extensive Look At Zyuoh TheWorld!

Posted on May 27, 2016 at 11:38 am by Paladin under Super Sentai

A new round of magazine scans has begun hitting the web, letting us see what lies ahead for Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

And this month, all the focus is on Zyuoh TheWorld! This upcoming new Ranger gets explored in fantastic detail, with special highlights including:

*TheWorlds’ three unique forms, Rhino (his “standard” configuration), Crocodile (which has tremendous attach strength) and Wolf (the fastest form).
*Zyuoh TheWorld can perform a surprise ability known as Great Instincts Awaken! This allows him to grow rhino horns, wolf claws AND a crocodile tail in place of one arm.
*We also get some early shots of Zyuoh TheWorlds’ Mecha, Tousai ZyuOh– a fearsome machine formed by combining Cube Wolf, Crocodile and Rhino.

Last but certainly not least, the scans have also revealed this new Rangers’ backstory- but we will keep that detail off the front page out of respect for fans who wish to go in unspoiled. Join in our ZyuohTheWorld Discussion Thread if you wish to know the whole truth!

And be sure to stay tuned to TokuNation for all Zyuohger News!

New Power Rangers 2017 Movie Set Photos Online- Featuring Suits & Enemies!

Posted on May 26, 2016 at 8:34 am by Paladin under Power Rangers Movie

A plethora of new behind-the-scenes images from the filming of Lionsgate’s Power Rangers reboot movie have surfaced online!

These action shots give us our BEST look yet at the new Red Ranger suit– and proves that these ARE physical costumes, not purely digital effects as some fans have speculated.

In addition, the Red Ranger is seen fighting two stuntmen in greenscreen suits- meaning some of the enemy forces (likely the iconic Putty Patrol) WILL be computer-generated effects.

Be sure to stop by our Ongoing Movie Reboot Discussion Thread to share your thoughts & fears about this cinematic adventure!

S.H. Figuarts Zetton Full Official Images

Posted on May 24, 2016 at 10:40 pm by Den-O under Ultraman

Bandai has just updated it’s Ultraman 50th Anniversary page with a full set of official images for S.H. Figuarts Zetton!

This figure was just revealed in last weeks’ Tamashii Pick Up so there’s nothing new we haven’t seen before. But it’s nice to get a full look at this upcoming release. Zetton appears to at least include an effect part for interacting with S.H. Figuarts Ultraman, though not much else. We’ll update you if that changes.

S.H. Figuarts Zetton will be released in October as a retail release for 6480 yen.

S.H.Monster Arts Godzilla 1989 Version Revealed

Posted on May 24, 2016 at 12:19 am by Kiryu under Godzilla

The S.H.Monster Arts line dives into yet another era of Godzilla, this one based on his Godzilla VS Biollante appearance.

S.H.Monster Arts Godzilla 1989 commands a very high price point with a suggested MSRB of 19,980 yen.

But what separates this King of Monsters from previous releases are a few built in features activated via a set of switches built into the figure’s neck: according to the product page the first function activates an LED gimmick which lights up the spines and mouth to replicate the iconic Atomic Roar attack, the second function seems to be a sound feature which plays BGMs straight from the movie.

S.H.Monster Arts Godzilla 1989 appears to be a standard release, and will drop sometime in October 2016.
