Colorado Cos/Mic Comic Con 2 “Back to the 80’s” is being held this year at the Double Tree Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado on the weekend of October 22nd and 23rd. In the next few weeks, the MCM London Comic Con will be in full effect, and Bandai UK has continued their tradition of revealing and selling Legacy items early! Available before it’s release at this year’s MCM Comic Con, convention attendees can purchase the upcoming Legacy Communicator from the Bandai UK booth.

In their advertisement we get our first look at the packaging for the item – a more upright box with all five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers shown, with the Legacy Communicator right in the middle. Pretty sharp looking!

In unexpected fashion a new exclusive has just been revealed as a tie-in for the upcoming Toho film Shin Godzilla, or as it will be known in the west Godzilla Resurgence.

Celebrating Shin Godzilla’s director Hideaki Anno’s seminal work, Neon Genesi Evangelion, Japanese 7-11 stores will be offering a Movie Monster Series Mecha Godzilla Eva 01 Ver vinyl figure!

This Mecha Godzilla/Kiryu will as the name implies be lavishly painted in the classic colors of Eva Unit 01 from Evangelion. This vinyl figure is slated to retail for 4000 yen after tax and will be available exclusively at 7-11 locations in Japan from July 28th onward. Limited supplies will be available at that time.

The next DVD in the Power Rangers Dino Charge series, “Breakout”, will release on July 12th, 2016 for a suggested retail of $14.98. This DVD looks to contain the following episodes:

  • Episode 09 – “When Logic Fails”
  • Episode 10 – “The Royal Rangers”
  • Episode 11 – “Breakout”
  • Episode 12 – “Knight after Knights”

Another month has come & gone! The next of Bandai’s Ultra Act X S.H.Figuarts joint venture release’s been revealed: And it’s going to be the the Ace Suit, the design based on Ultraman Ace  from the Manga!

Sadly, no prototype or release detail’s been announced for this project yet, so far all we have to go on are these preliminary sketches of the Ace Suit it self to go on. Stay tuned, and we’ll bring you more information on this product as it becomes avalaible.

It’s time for Buster!

TokuNation is finally ready to finish the journey it began nearly 5 months ago. Our Gallery 2.0 retrospective for Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters comes to an end with this final gallery, S.H. Figuarts Yellow Buster & Usada Lettuce!

Yellow Buster & Usada are the 5th and sadly last release in the Go-Busters Figuarts subline. But this pair are a more than admirable send off. Between the standard accessory load out of the Buster mold & the inclusion of Usada, this release is more than worth the  fair prices it goes for now. And with it you can at least complete the original trios of Buster & Buddyroids.

Toei has opened their Official Page for this years’ summer movie double-bill, featuring Kamen Rider Ghost and Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

No story or crew details are revealed at this time, but both films will serve as anniversary projects celebrating 45 years of Kamen Rider AND 40 years of Super Sentai.

A minor teaser video has also been posted online:

Ghost & Zyuohger will premiere in theaters on August 6, 2016! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

Time to start toy hunting! The new Legacy Movie Morphers, inspired by the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie, have shown up at Barnes & Noble of all places. This would lead one to believe that these are obviously not Toys’R’Us exclusives first as the previous releases have been.
