Wonderfest 2014 has begun! This annual unveiling of upcoming Japanese merchandise always has a few surprises for tokusatsu fans, and this year things start off on a Dangerous note:

We now have our first look at SH Figuarts Armored Rider Bravo, complete with one of the best displays Bandai has ever put up! In addition, three Armored Rider Kurokage Figuarts are on display. These 3 appear to be of the MP Kurokage Trooper variety lacking faceplate details and having silver belts. We’re waiting for confirmation of how these figure will be released and how a standard Hasse Kurokage will be released relating to them.

This V Cinema focuses on a new team of active Kyoryugers a century after the series has ended, the trailer gives us a glimpse of these new characters whom are played by the original actors! Check it out below:

With the introduction of Gaim Jinba Lemon Arms last week, many fans speculated that the new Jinba Arms would be able to transform into multiple forms. It would appear they were correct!

As speculated previously, it appears that the armor does simply rotate based on the Energy Lock Seed used in conjunction with the standard Orange Lock! Looking closely at the suit and toy images the Jinba Arms is exactly the same on all 4 sides, each one has a set of folding flaps which reveal the Energy Lock in use. Lemon, and Peach have now been seen, Melon & Cherry are assuredly under there too!

The short of it? Kamen Rider Gaim will likely be receiving at least 2 more Jinba forms (Melon & Cherry) after this, before Kachidoki Arms, and the rumored final form!

A VERY interesting new rumor has just hit the Web!

An article in USA Today noticed by the good people at RangerCrew describes the 22nd Season of Power Rangers to begin in 2015 as “Power Rangers Dino Charge.” The story-

In Dino Charge, the Paragon Prisms were given to a dozen dinosaurs for safe keeping by an alien, but they were lost when asteroids hit the Earth and wiped out the dinos. Now in the present day, an intergalactic bounty hunter starts sniffing around Earth looking for the Prisms in order to harness their power and annihilate the world, so a team of Power Rangers forms to find the Prisms first and fight the bounty hunter and other threats with dino-powered swords, blasters, Zords (in Power Rangers lingo, large fighting machines) and Megazords

If this is indeed true it means Saban has skipped Go-Busters source footage and is moving right to Kyoryuger- which we previously heard was not allowed based on their current licensing agreement with Toei. Curiouser and curiouser…

The 5th Armored Rider of Kamen Rider Gaim joins the fray in the ever popular Arms Change toyline! 

Like his fellow riders released before him Kamen Rider Gridon comes packed with his trademark Donguri (Acorn) Arms, his arms weapon the Donkachi, as well as a personal Lock Vehicle, the Dandeliner! Though the Dandeliner has only been seen to be used up to this point by the Kurokage troopers, this release would imply that Gridon will use it soon enough. Though if you try to troop build these vehicles for your Kurokage army, you’ll have a rather large excess of Gridons.

Gridon succeeds in being yet another fun an intuitive addition to an ever growing line, and his vehicle takes a crack at some of the shortcomings of the previously released Lock Vehicle bikes. On the whole this one is another clear winner for Bandai of Japan. As seems to be the case with almost any Arms Change figure, this one is also a very welcome addition to the line! This mini-gallery gives us our first side-by-side comparison with the original Dragonzord mold as well as shots with all Dragonzord combinations using both the ’93 molds AND the Legacy molds!

Legacy Dragonzord should be on its way to store shelves VERY soon! Keep a lookout for this fantastic piece of Power Rangers history!

Are you ready to travel to Helheim Forest? Well your Kamen Rider Gaim Arms Change figures are about to be. It’s time to pick up the Lock Vehicles Sakura Hurricane & Rose Attacker today to compliment your growing collection of AC figures!

These vehicles strike the best balance between functional transforming locks and pretty great vehicle modes. Though they don’t feature electronics like DX & Gashapon Lock Seeds, these little gadgets more than make up for it with a smooth transformation. It also helps that they scale perfectly with Arms Change Riders. Do you plan to pick up the Lock Vehicles or are you waiting it out for the S.H. Figuarts releases?

It’s time to end the speculation folks. This news comes courtesy of our sister site ToyArk. Bandai Tamashii Nations has announced that their S.H. Figuarts and D-Arts lines will be merged together. D-Arts as a sub line is now over.

Beginning in April 2014, figures that would have fallen under the D-Arts banner will now be released under the S.H. Figuarts line. A couple of confusing examples of this change over have been reported recently. Non-Toku figures such as Mario, Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, and Lucario were all originally intended for the D-Arts line. However with the discontinuation of that line these figures have been solicited as S.H. Figuarts as will all future releases that would have been in that line.

For anyone who wants to join in on the discussion of S.H. Figuarts (toku or non) hit up our two main discussion threads on the topic. The non-toku S.H. Figuarts thread in General Discussion will also retroactively encompass the D-Arts line from this point on.
