The Official Power Morphicon Convention has updated with yet another list of great special guests that will be appearing at this year’s show. There are well over a 100 guests attending this year’s convention, though it’s important to note that their availability may be limited, so keep an eye on their page for updates regarding when each guest will be at the show. But without further waiting, here’s the list announced today!

Power Rangers Monday is back! Over the course of the 20 year history of Power Rangers, there have been some amazing battles that still stick with us to this day. Some of the more infamous battles over the course of the franchise’s history include things like the Red Ranger fighting the Green Ranger during Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as the White Ranger vs Green Ranger battle from the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. And then there’s the team ups – everything from two seasons coming together to the anniversary battles of Forever Red and Once A Ranger.

We decided to dig a little deeper – leaving all the season team up episodes and anniversary episodes behind. Those will always be awesome and may always be in your top 5. For those fans who live on the east coast and cannot make it to Power Morphicon this year due to cost, timing, etc., great news! The east coast’s largest gathering of Power Rangers continues on thanks to the folks of RangerStop.com! To all you Power Rangers fans up north in Canada, specifically Toronto – great news!  The folks of Unplugged Expo have dropped by to let us know that they have officially announced that Kevin Duhaney, better known as Ethan James the Dino Thunder Blue Ranger will be attending as a special guest at this year’s show!  He is joining their Power Rangers line-up with Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger, Zeo Green Ranger, and Turbo Green Ranger).

The Unplugged Expo takes place on September 27th and 28th at the Chestnut Conference Centre in downtown Toronto. Check out Kevin Duhaney‘s announcement video below!

But they’re not done yet! They have one more Power Rangers guest to announce in the near future! We’re a little late on this update but that doesn’t mean it isn’t news! The Official Power Morphicon convention updated on Monday with a couple of new guests and, unfortunately, a cancellation. For starters, Anna Hutchison, better known as Lily the Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger will be joining Jason Smith and David de Lautour giving us the largest Power Rangers Jungle Fury reunion. Someone get in touch with Aljin Abella and Nikolai Nikolaeff and tell them to join the others for a true reunion! But she’s not the only guest – here’s the latest list from the update.

The boys are back from their crossover adventure with the release of Episode 12 – Lord Zedd Interview and Talkin Dino Charge! Talk some toku with your hosts Chris/Kickback, Jordan/Den-O, and Tom/Sentai Tamashii! In this week’s episode, Chris conducts the first ever Talkin Toku Interview with none other than Robert Axelrod, the voice of Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Special thanks to Denver Comic Con for helping set up and coordinate a time and place for the interview. Chris also shares his thoughts on Denver Comic Con.

To round off the episode the guys keep the topic on Power Rangers, and more specifically discuss a couple of Power Rangers Monday articles – namely what do we want to see adapted in to Power Rangers Dino Charge from Kyoryuger and what else would we have liked to see adapted from Super Sentai in general in to Power Rangers? It’s a fun conversation as our hopes for a great season with Power Rangers Dino Charge especially with Judd Lynn at the helm show up in the conversation. Bluefin reveals their 2nd exclusive offering for SDCC this year via facebook. As hinted at by company representatives from NYCC last year, it’s the S.H.Figuarts Armored Black Ranger from the MMPR exclusive episode an “Oyster Stew”.

The footage used for this episode is part of the “Zyu2” run of episodes. Saban had licensed Toei to film new material with new monsters to be used exclusively in Power Rangers episodes because Saban had already cycled through the available material. This powered up form appears once and only in Power Rangers despite being from Japanese footage. Currently there’s no word on pricing.

It’s Monday – that means another Official Power Morphicon guest update! Joining the list of over 90 special guests is the beautiful, one and only Melody Perkins! She played the very iconic role of Astromena in Power Rangers In Space, the Princess of Evil who had a secret past with Andros the In Space Red Ranger. She would return in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy and become the Pink Ranger, making her the first and only series main villain to return and become a Power Ranger in another series (Rick Medina would do the opposite, going from Power Ranger to a main villain in Power Rangers Wild Force to Power Rangers Samurai). But she wasn’t the only guest to attend – check out the list of added guests below!

Love him or hate him, Jason David Frank continues to be a mover and a shaker when it comes to the world of Power Rangers. Announced today via his Instagram account, the actor who played Tommy Oliver the Mighty Morphin Green and White Rangers, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger, and Black Dino Thunder Ranger, will be appearing at this year’s San Diego Comic Con courtesy of Saban Brands (the property owners of Power Rangers) and Lionsgate (the studio announced to be behind the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie reboot/remake).

This will undoubtedly begin a wave of speculation – is he appearing simply to promote the brand? Is he appearing because he might actually land a role in the new movie? Saban Brands, along with Bandai of America, have made no mistake that they consider him the greatest Power Ranger of all time – he’s popular, his toys sell like hot cakes, and he remains one of the most fan-demanded characters in every Power Rangers series.
